✓ Megan Megan MeganYour partner is Megan. She has an IQ of 56. She will frustrate you constantly. You can have nine bags and after she makes her bid she keeps going for tricks!!! It's maddening. Over all the AI for the game is ok though. Rarely do total bids per hand go higher than 11 so there is constant bagging. And if you bid nil your opponents will go kamikazi to set you, and in effect set themselves. Still, the game is fun, just be prepared for a bit of frustration..Version: 1.50

✓ Better partnerEven on the hardest level Megan is an awful partner. Part of the fun of spades is protecting your partner if they go nil. Megan never ever bids nil. Also doesn't know how to bag an opponent. And doesn't realize when we are in danger of being set..Version: 1.25
✓ I agree that my "partner" Megan actually plays for the other side.This game is lousy. The partner overbids their hand and plays the highest value card in their hand and does not play a low value card of the suit that was lead, even though the opponents have lead with the highest value card in the suit. My biggest complaint is that Megan will have the last play and she decides to play a trump card and ALWAYS plays the highest trump card in her hans when she could have played the two of spades that she had and still taken the trick. I get so frustrated to see the ace of spades played to take the trick and then leads with the deuce of spades and we get set by one trick. What a crock of Bovine Scatology..Version: 2.03
✓ SpadesI enjoyed his game initially, but after a while it starts to play unfairly. Calling one trick whilst holding seven trump cards is not in keeping with the manners of the game, indeed, it's cheating. I've been playing this for several years and after all this time the game has changed from a very fair game. Early levels are great, but today after playing the Ace trump, two hands later the card was played again by the opposition, which is impossible i am now deleting it..Version: 2.05
✓ Partner is horrible!The game can be fun. But the more you play, it becomes frustrating because your partner (Meagan) is horrible. She makes plays that make absolutely no sense and a good player would never make. Can't the programmers make her a better player. The game would sure be more enjoyable..Version: 1.60
✓ Easy to play....but....The partner you play with ( yes, Megan) in one player games appears to be a complete idiot. It (he/she) trumps you when you've already won a trick, fails to take tricks when it (he/she) can and should, and sometimes appears to play cards at random, with no apparent understanding of what's going on at that point in the game. I've played with real, human partners like this in the past, but they were usually quite drunk. Additionally, I can't see how to bid blind nil....occasionally the game asks if you want to, but apparently with no rhyme or reason..Version: 1.50

✓ Why update this?This was an excellent game then a recent update has removed a lot of pleasure. The colour presentation is now very fuzzy. You can now only play the 500points. The alternative card faces was unnecessary as it was quite good with the original. The total look of of the game is now very cheap and amateur. Return it to its previous look!.Version: 2.02
✓ The mid game ads kill this gameI get it, I'm playing for free and have to pay for the privilege by what him ads. But putting them IN the game, every few plays, is just too distracting. I was really enjoying this, but not so much now that I can't even see the game while it's blocked out by the ads. Think I'll pass on any more play for a while..Version: 1.50

✓ Will reveal latent misogynyI didn’t think I had any misogyny in my character, but playing with Megan proved me wrong; her play is so incompetent I release a steady stream of profanity regarding her intellect, physique, profession etc.. Winning isn’t the issue, but getting to 500 before she overbags twice is rare. She does not understand the concept of bag control, trying to take overtricks even after opponents have made their contract. ✓ Megan is a bad playerI too have a problem with Megan as a partner. She plays the ace of spades trump a trick and then loses a trick later for not having it. We then go down. The game plays well and looks good but just burns me when Megan plays like that. I will use a different version of spades to play. Glade to have others to play..Version: 1.50

✓ Just who's side is Megan on?I played a hand where I bid zero books. Charles played a tyre in a suit. Megan played a four. I put down a seven, the lowest card I had. I ended up winning the play, with a zero bid. The next play, Megan put down a ten in the same suit. Megan had a ten but let me eat a book after I bed a zero causing us to go back 100 points. Megan also keep throwing off spades before I make the number of books I bid. She is the worse possible partner ever. You can't talk to her and, hey Megan, don't do that..Version: 1.50

Megan does not play the best or correct cards to cover her partner when the partner (player) bids nil or blind nil. She repeatedly plays a lower card in a suit although she is holding a higher one. I play this everyday and thoroughly enjoy but the new format is way too bright, the elements are now too small for me to see without glasses as well as interacting with my clumsy fingers! ✓ Megan is a MoronInfuriatingly when you nil bid Megan leads the wrong suite every time. Conversely, the opposition knows exactly how to lead to you vulnerability. If you don't have a perfect hand, for nil you probably won't make it. However, your opposition always makes their bid. This is what makes spades a bit interesting with real opponents, and yes I have been set many times with real opponents, but Megan has no sense of even what to play when the bid is nil..Version: 1.50
✓ Ads Freeze And Spoil The GameThe game itself is pretty good, and I expect to see the ads, but they are more annoying because when the ads end they either freeze the screen or it goes black without returning to the game. You have to completely exit and start the game again. Disappointing, frustrating, and not worth the trouble..Version: 2.12
✓ Megan is an idiotYour partner doesn't know how to bid her cards so you have to guess whether to over bid or under bid for your partner. You will also notice that 9 out of 10 times when it is your turn to bid you won't get single ace I your hand. Needs some work on being more realistic. The game will let you win 3 or 4 times then you lose no matter what. I bid zero for a win and Megan is holding a King of diamonds but throws a 6 of diamonds and we loose because the only diamond in my hand is a 9. Who the f--k would do that. Expecting their partner to have under a 6 card when they are carrying a king. This happens ALL THE TIME..Version: 1.50

✓ Programmer is the idiotAnyone that plays spades knows that this game is rigged. Megan purposely loses so you have to underbid and take bags. The game is programmed this way so you lose, hence the term "difficult". It's not difficult for you to lose, because it's intended. Find another spade game if you truly want to test you mettle in a more realistic setting. What I don't understand is why someone would personally program the game this way, unless they get their jollies frustrating gaming enthusiasts. Sadistic SOB..Version: 1.50
✓ Hasn’t load for months on iPadThis used to be one of my favorite games, still is on my iPhone, but it brings up the game and allows you to pick a different name to play under then won’t start. I’ve deleted it and reloaded it but to no avail. I’ve kept so long because I figured the developers would eventually publish a fix. A new fix was announced the other day so I applied it and launched it only to have it get stuck again. I guess the iPad version is out of business..Version: 2.08
