✓ They updated their format. Not impressed.I really liked the older format. Nice large card size. Now it seems micro in comparison. Just trying out this new version I hope that Magen is a better partner player..Version: 2.02
✓ Not GoodThe AI plays poorly. The latest game froze. Doesn’t keep stats like Win Loss record. I don’t play with the blind nil bid, so I don’t know the rule, but it is only an option some of the time. It is not explained in the rules on the app..Version: 2.04

✓ Nil bidsGood basic game of spades forget the nil bid though, computer partner doesn't protect you and leads 2's and 3's when developer said they had fixed that issue........ not fixed at all.Version: 1.11
✓ AverageVery basic and a highly predicable game. Computer has some bad leads and plays with average partner protection. Does not allow for any options, card swaps as an example..Version: 1.11
✓ Need a lot of work!In the "hard" mode of more advanced play Megan is a schizophrenic idiot. You never know where her bidding is going to end up. She either overbids to set you or she underbids to create Multi bags which then affects the scoring. She will also over trump when you have already won the trick or she will trump behind the opposing team when they have already won the trick and she has other options. The craziest part is when she begins to throw off Aces if the suit is off. The cards are programmed to favor the opposing team also. Needs options to program multi settings for Megan. But the programming plainly needs work, the few times you can manage to get in the lead, Megan begins to overbid multi hands. The graphics need to be updated to more a more professional look., especially the faces. Also need more and better options. Such as Lithium for Megan. OK to play for kicks to see how deep in the hole Megan can overbid herself. But not for the serious player..Version: 1.20

✓ Could be betterYou always play with same girl. She has no clue on how to cover a Nil even if she had a blanket. Your left right opponents make plays that the only way possible they have to know each others cards sometimes. Other teams never go Nil. Had to upload spades+ because regular spades even worse. ✓ Cool game!I love playing Spades so much and I couldn't resist getting this game for my iPad! I just wish they would make it look more "adult like"! Those cartoon faced opponent's are not a good look for a grown man! I also get upset that my computer partner doesn't always count there books right, but humans don't either sometimes so I guess that makes it more "life like"! Please upgrade this game and make it look more sophisticated for adults!.Version: 1.11

✓ I want a new partnerI become very frustrated with my computer partner Megan. She does not play smart throws Kings on - Aces and does not follow normal partner rules for playing Spades. One bid of 5 she took Zero. I end up bidding two less then I normally would to make up for her blunders. Need to improve computer intelligence of players so normal card conventions are followed..Version: 1.11
✓ Spades proI hate this game. My partner is an idiot, and plays randomly (god help you if you bid zero). I'd ask for my money back, but it's only 99 cents and my time is worth more than that. Frustrating. Complained to company, "we're working on it." Perhaps they should have done that BEFORE marketing it... Addendum- Have you noticed that the favorable ratings are clustered around the same date? For example, you will have two weeks of random comments, and then ten people in a row give in five stars and two word comments, e.g., it's great, family fun. I hate to needlessly accuse someone of padding their ratings....Version: 1.11
✓ It's okay. Could be better.I'd like to be able to customize the gameplay beyond sound. I'm not a great spades player but I win often on the hard setting. I don't regret the purchase although I do have other spades games I enjoy a bit more..Version: 1.40

✓ Spades , level difficult.I enjoy this more than your prior attempt, But, Megan needs a lot of help. Her bids are too high often and she plays high cards when not necessary...especially high trump when either none should be played or at least not a high one?.Version: 1.40
✓ Bad partner makes game a dragAs others have mentioned, the only partner you get is bad, very bad. Unpredictable, she sometimes bids too high but also too low. There is no way to replace her or change her settings, which is deeply frustrating. If this section were fixed, my rating would be much higher..Version: 1.45
✓ Not bad but...Hi there - two issues as far as I can tell. Firstly, the game often won’t allow me to bid blind nil - surely I should have that option with each round. Secondly, much of the text is cut off in the ‘how to play’ section. Fix this please?.Version: 1.60

✓ Rubbish changesSince the last update. The screen has totally changed so everything is so small it’s an effort to read. Also it doesn’t say when you’ve won so it’s easy to move to the next game without realising..Version: 2.03
✓ Spade GamePlease, please reprogram the game so once we hit our bids, Megan stops taking bags. And when we need to throw bags to the opponent, Megan stops taking tricks. There is nothing more frustrating then at the end of the game we can get the opponent to get ten bags, the Megan takes them ruining the chance to win. If that’s what you define as difficult, I define as moronic!.Version: 1.60
✓ DifferencesI had the Spades Free HD version, played it for a long time. It was very good and thought I would upgrade to the Spades Pro HD. I see absolutely no difference between the two. Well except I am out $ 1.99. Very disappointing..Version: 1.20
✓ Excellent game; Weak Partner PlayAt the Hard level, Megan is not very good. For example, if you are attempting a blind, or you bid zero, Megan won't always cover you when she is able. This just happened to me ten minutes ago. Also, you can't be sure if she will cover her bids...she usually overbids, often grossly underbids and rarely bids correctly. Most frustrating is when she under bids and continues to try to score, causing us to get a 100 point deduction..Version: 1.11
✓ DISAPPOINTEDI liked the free version and expected the paid one to be better, but not so. In the free version if you bid blind you can swap two cards with your partner, but NOT in the paid version. Why? This is now 90percent of the game, l think I'd rather put up with the ads..Version: 1.45
✓ Could improve....I agree with Lil c####, and would like to trade partners once in a while too. It’s not easy to outsmart the computer and the way you’ve setup scoring for my opponents. But I’m still playing and enjoy Spades on the whole..Version: 1.60
