✓ Yes, the levels have changedI agree with the other reviews that complain about how it has gotten harder and the other players seem to conspire. I used to win a reasonable ( certainly not every time ) % of the games. Now I never win. I thought it was me. I always end up getting the queen -- usually with the 3 hearts -- especially if I am winning-- I get it 3-4 times in a row, and go from winning to losing..Version: 1.51

✓ Long time user is dumping this gameUse to love this, but give up with all the irritating problems. 1. The scoring frequently goes crazy and starts subtracting scores from players so instead of the correct points at that time it starts adding a minus sign and sub tracks an amount so a score of, say, 20” suddenly becomes “20(-8)” which has suddenly subtracted 8 points 2. I will NEVER pay a monthly fee to get no ads on any game, and these ads are particularly annoying: flashing ads are always visible under the game and hurts visibility of the cards but WORSE could give an epileptic a seizure. These are always on. Then between games one has to wait forever to get the ad to close so one can go on to the next game..Version: 2.12

✓ Great game except for adsThis game is lots of fun but I wish the ads at the bottom of the screen would not play as the game is being played. It can be very distracting to have things flashing on the bottom as you attempt to play your hand. If ads must be part of it, please have them play before the game starts so I can play in peace! I've also learned that if you have more then a few spades in your hand plus the queen, you're better off keeping it and throwing it onto someone else's hand. If you don't, you almost almost get it slammed back onto your own book..Version: 1.60

I was winning with 25 points and a -10 score and ended the round with 41 points coincidentally, the score of Ben in the previous round. He started the round with 41 points had a score of 26 which means he should have ended the round with 67 but, somehow he ended with 25!!!! This game is screwed up!!!.Version: 1.51
✓ FrustratingI play the hard level. I find that in most hands the Q is discarded on a diamond lead. It's frustrating when you realize this, pass your diamonds and get diamonds back. I enjoy playing if I can make it through a hand without another player dropping the Q on a mid diamond lead..Version: 1.60

✓ UpgradeNice game but there are a couple of changes that should be made to more liken the game to the real game. One, when all points are out or when the person playing first has all the remaining tricks, end the hand. Two, make available the option for anyone who takes all the points, to add 26 to others or subtract 26 from their score. If that person also gets the jack of diamonds, their score drops 10 more points, if he doesn't, the person getting it drops to 16 or the same as it is now..Version: 1.51
✓ Won't stop a runThe biggest problem with this game is apparently the computer is not smart enough to recognize when one of the three opponents is trying to run the board. The three players will always throw the biggest card in their hand that keeps them from catching any points even if it means allowing the other two players to run the points. This does not apply when you are trying to run the board, they will hold bigger cards to stop you..Version: 1.51
✓ Not really playing the game correctlyI have played hearts for over 50 years and know the game quite well. It would be nice if someone would create an app where opponents play to get the low score player. The QS is just dumped where ever with no skill of play. ✓ DiscouragingI expected some ads with the free version. However, to get the same car ad every couple of minutes is ridicules. Really?! How obnoxious, don't plan on playing a hand without numerous interruptions. Cards are set up to see that you have a less than fair chance to win. I agree with Review 35. Don't waste your time. ✓ WAS pretty goodI enjoyed this game and was perfectly happy with the ads running on the bottom of the screen BUT recently they started throwing up full screen ads even in the middle of a hand and it’s happening a LOT. I started looking for a different one but the alternative that I downloaded is obviously by the same company as the same thing happened INSTANTLY. My first game I was hit with 2 full screen ads before I’d played 3 hands - not games - hands. I removed it instantly and will keep looking. I’ll just have to restrict my playing to my laptop where I have a version that doesn’t have this problem..Version: 1.60

✓ Built in biasI had another version of this game which I was happy with until and IOS update ruined the layout. This game has an inbuilt bias. I have been monitoring it in case I was imagining it but I have found that a certain player hardly ever loses while the user player will end up with the dreaded Queen of Spades over and over again. One of the other players consistently will pass me either the queen, king or ace then keep leading spades. There are too many hands where I don’t have any cards below 5. I've easily one every game I've played on hard, but the example is that, on the hardest setting, I played the jack of diamonds, with the minus 10 rule on, and won the round, the next round, a player plays the ace of diamonds. If it were easy or medium that would be ok, but on the hardest difficulty that's just dumb. The ai constantly made bad decisions, and it means this game is only ok. ✓ Changes in quality of computer playThe computer player has recently been altered to change the difficulty in the Hard to Play area of the game. The change has taken this Hard level from a good but a little too easy. Unfortunately the changes have made this level slightly too difficult to play. What I look for is a realistic level of play that reflects how a very good player would manage their game. But the randomness of hands are unrealistic and the play of all opposition players is too consistently supportive of one another to allow for realistic outcomes. I'd like to see this level made a bit more realistic to be enjoyable I'm winning jack of diamonds around 3% of the time and eating queen of spades about 96% of the time. Prior to latest update those stats were reversed. I'm playing this game less and less now.Version: 1.51

✓ If You Enjoy Losing ...I like a challenging card game and I don't think I'm a sore loser, but this game in Hard mode is not winnable. I started keeping track and in 18 out of 20 games I got the Queen of Spades and the high score. The one time I didn't score I ended up with 26 points anyway. Why not just deal random hands and let the bots play smarter instead? I find myself very frustrated when I'm dealt or passed the Ace and King of Spades half the time, or given the Queen solo. ✓ Hateful goddam thingThis game plays well in easy and medium for anyone just learning the game, but in hard mode, at least the version I am playing, the three opponents actively conspire together against us, the "player." I have watched one of them pass up a chance to drop the queen on one of the others only to drop it on me. Recently, in one evening of play I was dealt on three occasions no spades. Each time that happened Ann passed me the Ace And King of spades and a junk card. And I have NEVER been passed those two cards together anytime else. The guy on the left ALWAYS leads spades as soon as he can every time I hold the Queen, but only occasionally if I am not holding her. I believe that the cards are mostly honestly randomly dealt, but the players will protect each other to get you if they can. It 's "hard" because its not honest play. And that is irritating enough that I have vowed never to pay for any game from Optime until such time as they fix it to just play non-conspiratorially..Version: 1.51

✓ Logarithm Needs WorkThe logarithm needs work to make the cards more random. Several times I have gotten the same cards in a row. Plus, it would be nice to have the ability to see what was just played. I swore I played a lower card but still came up with the points. This usually happens when the queen of spades has just been played by another player. There was also a time I had 26 points and when it came to the end of the hand, my partner then had the 26 points added to her score. Scoring isn’t consistent. All three players (even my partner) seem to gang up against me during the hand. This has the potential to be a great game but I won’t buy it until these issues are corrected..Version: 1.60

✓ Stay away from this one!The graphics are great. They are way behind the times in making you tap the middle of the table to play your cards. The big thing is that they want to show you how many games the computer can win. The hands are mostly all rigged. The cards are not static after the deal & always shift around so that the player will have the high cards. If you have the five of a suit, the 2, 3, & 4 are always divided among the other three hands. ✓ HeartsI have enjoyed playing this game but I have two complaints. First, you'll be playing a good game and then at the end of the hand the score comes up giving three players 26 points. It's impossible to get 78 points in one hand.....very frustrating....have to start the game over! Second, on my iPhone I paid for the upgrade so that I wouldn't have ads showing at bottom of screen. You would think that when I purchased the upgrade it would have synced to my iPad as well. I play Hearts on both devices about 50-50. Other than that the game is good..Version: 1.51

✓ Bait and hookThe game was pretty decent in the beginning but now it wants you to pay for the upgrade. What happens is that an ad will pop up or just the audio of the ad. It freezes your game or completely disconnect the match. When you reboot you have to start a new match because where it stopped is not saved. This happens about half of the time. I know that it only costs a couple of bucks to upgrade but I just disagree with the methods..Version: 1.60

The hard level uses a strategy of beat the human no matter what. All 3 computer players dump on the human even if it means losing the game to another computer player. However if the human will win, all three hands go to great lengths to prevent each other from going over 100. Hmmmmm. Very sad. It repeatedly withholds points until it can drop them on the human. I have proven this. I do give credit it is good for ads the are not intrusive and in your face. They are visible but subtle enough and so strike a reasonable balance..Version: 1.60
✓ I'd passI loved this game for years, and have used it to teach beginners how to play. In it's most recent versions however, you have made it too difficult and predetermined. The makers have removed any fun and the possibility of competition, and I am including it's easiest settings. I am moving on. Question: You know what the problem is.
