✓ Flawed Programming LogicThis game, brought to the iPhone would seem like a winning combination. However, playing against the computer is far too easy. It is very difficult to lose a game to the computer. It even looks like the computer does not want to win. I would purchase the premium version, but it looks like that version suffers from the same stunted logic. No luck with the version update. It has great potential though. Five stars for the game, but only two for the implementation..Version: 0
✓ RubbishDON'T BY THIS GAME!!!! When I play this game with the Computer (because I don't have eneyone to play with)my mum and dad think I'm so good but the computer CHETS!!! They do loads of lines when I'm the one that needs to do a line not them! ✓ Give us choices.This new version is much harder to use and, frankly much less fun to play. It would be improved if: 1) we had our choice of color schemes. Some of us with aging eyes find this version much harder to play because the colors are faint. Was that intentional? 2) The game is still too easy. When the game chooses to open a series of eight or 10 consecutive boxes for my turn when a series of two boxes is still available, it is clear the game is "dumbed down." C'mon Optime. ✓ Entertaining, but simple logicBest i can figure, the computer plays with the following rules: Easy setting: complete any 3/4 squares, then place line randomly Medium setting: complete any 3/4 squares, then, if possible place line where it won't make any 3/4 squares available. Else, place randomly. (Given this, on the medium setting, if the computer has the choice to give you one square or twelve, it sometimes gives you the twelve.) Once you've figured this out, it's basically impossible to lose, which takes some of the fun out of it..Version: 0

✓ Needs better controls.This is a good game to pass time on airplane or car ride. But that's the only time you would ever see yourself playing it. The game can eat up a good 15-20 minutes but it is just dots so you will get tired of it quickly. The only problem with this game is the controls. You have to pick a dot and drag a line to the other dot. The dot's can be to crowded or it is just lazy programing because it would always think I'm dragging to a wrong dot which can mess you up. Also the computer cheats like crazy and you would be lucky to get over 10 squares for the entire game.Version: 0

✓ Pornographic ImagesMy wife was playing this app with our 8-yr old child (note the app is rated 4+) and pop up ads started. The first few were simply for other games, but then a pornographic ad popped up. Completely unacceptable and disgusting. While we were right there to shut it off, I wonder how many kids have been exposed to these images while playing apps from this developer (Optime Software company). This kind of embedded stuff shouldn't be allowed..Version: 1.60
✓ Basic but worth downloadingThe games does what it is supposed to. It is a great boredom buster. You can play dots 1 or 2 player, in easy or medium mode, (no hard mode). And there isn't much more to it. The difficulty is moderate at best, and without the challenge of losing you can get pretty bored of winning so often. The easy mode is for children and the medium level is... for children. No one i have given this game to play has struggled with winning even their first game. This is probably because the maximum grid size is very small comparatively and means games are often concluded a minute or two after starting. Despite not being difficult or involved enough, it still does well. It has a nice interface and is user friendly. It looks sharp and plays well. Not a bad app at all. A great 'go to' game for when you are bored..Version: 1.55
✓ Improved to deathI'll never understand why companies always feel like they have to continually tinker with their perfectly fine products. Here's a great example. This was a wonderful game that had a nice 3D look to it. My grandkids and I played it often. But for some unknown reason Optime decided to 'improve' it. The new version is a faded 2D version of it's former self, and, oh yeah, did I mention the ads? Now when you turn it on you have to wait twice as long while a video advertisement downloads and once you figure out which side of the screen to touch to get it to go away due to a lack of an X, you then have to endure steaming ads all through your game at the bottom of the screen. And the fact that they are so sneaky as to not even tell you that they have decided to go with an ad supported model now in their update announcement makes me think very poorly of Optime. It's their app and they can certainly do with it what they want, but I'll probably be looking for a replacement..Version: 1.60

✓ Got for a trip.I downloaded this app expecting that I would get a free version of dots and not have any problems. That's true, there are no gameplay problems that I have noticed other than the occasional mistake on placement. However, I am removing this as well as all other free software from Optime Software from my ipod because of the abundance of ads. When waiting for the game to load, if you touch almost anywhere on the page, you are sent to the app store (ditching your progress in loading) and shown the app you accidently clicked on. I have downloaded several apps with ads, but this is by far the worst. I would need the loading screens ads removed before considering raising the rating..Version: 0

✓ Its okayThis game is fun but i can never draw my line where i want it. I dont have fingers or anything and its not like my ipod has a problem cause its fairly new so it can only be the games problem. Thats why i always keep losing. Cause the line always ends up in the wrong place. And also it often takes a few tries just to draw the line in the first place. ✓ Bad AIThe computer is too easy to beat. The game runs slowly in the later phases. I like the fact that you can tweak the rules. Line positioning is clumsy and it sometimes puts the line in the wrong place. It's just an error, not "cheating" as other reviewers suggest. ✓ Fun with FrustrationThe game is a good bit of fun, however, it does not consistently put the lines where you have selected and where it initially appears to put them. This is especially acute when you are truing to close out a box. Additionally, sometimes you try to put in a line and it shows when your finger is on the screen but it does not finalize the action ane you have to hit the screen several times to get the job done. ✓ Got annoyingThe game itself was a good idea because I love playing this game. However, it got annoying very quickly because it takes several taps to get the line to show and sometimes it doesn't even show up in the right place. This is very frustrating when you're at the end of the game and the other player now has the advantage because you accidentally placed your line in the wrong spot. At first I just tried to ignore it and keep playing, but after a while it became more and more annoying and I ended up quitting the game. If you could fix this, it would be a 5 star app. But until then, I'd give it a 2/5..Version: 0

Then I realized you just press the space between the dots where you want your line and that works perfectly.
