✓ LiesThis app claims to be over twice the speed of other apps but I tested it against fractile+ and it's no where near as fast or as good looking as fractile+, it doesn't even show the outer reaches of the set, it has less options for colours and the picture loads from the top so you have to wait for the whole image to load even if you just want to keep zooming in. It forgets everything that is off the screen instantly so exploring the Mandelbrot set is near impossible unless you have the whole day to compute pictures which you had previously seen not even a second ago and if you accidentally turn your iPod to the side your entire picture is lost and has to compute again. The good part about the app is it's claim to not have a limit to the iterations it can do but I'm yet to prove that as I can't stand waiting for the whole image to load.SpeerbladeVersion: 1.0.0

✓ Good basic functions but limited app and annoying opening!I like some of the functions, but the zooming is ok, like it lets you go for a while, but it does not let you zoom infinitely, which it should let you do. Also, every time I close out of the app and enter again, it advertises me this other app, which is really annoying! ✓ That other guy wasn't kidding about the useless zoomYou can zoom a few times and then it just hits a hard stop and refuses to zoom further or render additional detail. Fractal explorers are fun for hours when you can keep going and going and get into weird edge detail, and this app has neither of those things. It only offers a Mandelbrot set, which despite being my favorite is still only one of the many fun fractal explorations. It's no faster than Fractint was back in the 486 days despite the author's claims above. To add insult to injury it pops up an annoying ad every time you open it.
