✓ Can zoom in endlesslyThe reviewers for the app who are saying you can only zoom in so far before the iterations stop forgot to look in the settings. You can control the number of iterations, the zoom and much more. It just slows down the rendering, as you'd expect. Also worth noting, for those of us with large tablets, the screenshots are misleading; the app DOES provide landscape view (aka widescreen)..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Best in app storeWhile it isn't the fastest, it is definitely one of the faster apps. The precision is also the highest of them I have seen. Definitely worth a download. I just love looking at the Mandelbrot fractal. It makes you realise everything exists relatively. That said, when you get to a certain zoom, each time you try to zoom further in it jumps you backwards. This is a little jarring and confusing, given the repetitive nature of the fractal, perhaps you should have a warning, some sort of message..Version: 1.0.0

✓ Love it! Neat little appI grew up programming fractals in the 80s on my Atari ST, took around half and hour per render what you can do on iPhone in real time. Thanks Tom (Kerrigan) for Programming this. Quick wish, if it so moved you to implement this: once at max zoom level, allow a button press to automatically “fly out” eg auto-zoom out. That be nice. ✓ Great!In the 80s I first started exploring the Mandelbrot set using an 8-bit Atari computer. It would take literally HOURS to draw an iteration of the set. Fast forward over 30 years later and this application simply amazes me. Such blazing speed! I can finally get to explore the set without waiting days for it to refresh. ✓ Not sure why this app doesn't have a better overall ratingThis is a review of version 1.0.0 of Fast Fractal. In case anyone is unclear, this is not a game. This app does exactly what the description says, and is darn fast too. I remember when it would take a high-powered PC over an hour just to draw a portion of a fractal. At the time of this writing the app is free and does not have an ad bar (menu ad is entirely forgivable). 5 stars for portable fractal awesomeness..Version: 1.0.0
