✓ Nicht besonders nützlichThe easiest way to tell whether or not a German dictionary is useful is if it includes the genders of nouns. This program does not. Since gender is an essential component of German grammar, that makes this program a waste of time and money. Also translations are only one way -- you can enter English words to find German equivalents only, not vice versa. Examples: • The noun version of "Abkommen" (which means "agreement" and appeared in a headline and cannot be discerned from the verb definition.) • The masculine version of "Kiefer" (the common word for "jaw"; only the feminine definition, "pine," appears) My initial highly positive impression had been aided by what I thought was thoroughness in the listings.
