✓ Good, needs some tweeks...I have cue play dj and this is definately easier to use. I like the fact that you have your iTunes library there straight away to use. Also, the way that you have 'actual decks' as well as the waveform is great... Like others, however, i think the pitch is far too fierce and also it needs some sort of headphone splitter for monitoring and cueing up. These are things i'm sure will be adressed in future updates though. If you like mixing and want a nice, simple app to muck about on then get this!.Version: 1.0

✓ Get This Now!!!Amazing app for dj's and wannabes! I've been djing for 11 years and this really reminds me of djing on my 1200 technics back in the day. Even though it's small and a bit fiddly I think it's the whole touch thing and the response is absolutely fantastic! I simply just want speed nudge up and down functionality, like when u push the vinyl to get it in sync with the other track rather than using the pitch slider, this would complete the feeling of djing with vinyl. Also, without the functionality to cue the next track in your headphone BPM counters are necessary in this app. However if your smart u can see the beats in the wave form and match them there in the mix. Lastly full eq kills would be great and a filter someday too, If this can be done this app will be freaking AMAZING!!!.Version: 1.0

Heres the thing, my ipod touch is "version 4.2.1". Now when i went to put it on my ifone 4 it does not work. So keep that in mind before buying this one. ✓ Best DJ App!Tap DJ is the best DJ'ing app I have tried out! It is a whole lot of fun to play around with, with all its features. One suggestion though, I'm not sure if it's technically possible, but it'd be good if you can choose to play the one of the decks through headphones, and the other through the speaker, to match the beat. An alternative would be to play the decks through different channels through the headphone jack? Hopefully this app won't end up like iTimelapse Pro, made by the same devs, and be ignored with all it's bugs 'cause they've already made the money....Version: 1.0

Tap DJ is not a turntable, but it comes close in that you can beat match and mix between your collection of itunes. You can also add effects and not to mention the gyro scratch as mentioned by another reviewer. To the creators, please Tweak the bpm slider to make it easier to control, maybe adding the ability to slide the sound wave with magnification would be good too. If possible maybe the use of Bluetooth headphones as monitors could help too if one wished to listen to what was to be premixed, not sure how possible it is to use both headphones and headphone jack output at the same time. ✓ From bad to goodI originally got this app a year ago when i had the iPhone 4 but deleted it after one of those updates it would only play music purchased from iTunes #Fail I got the iPhone 5 and re-downloaded it to see if I could play all my mp3s and hallelujah!!! It can play any and every song on my iPhone. With that said this is the best dj app EVER!!!!!.Version: 1.1

✓ Getting there - very quicklyI had a problem with this app at first using my own music. I emailed the people and they got back to me within one hour with advice. There will be some updates coming soon which will iron out a few faults..Version: 1.0

✓ Great app for the iPhone. But needs some more basic elements.This app is incredible! However, I'd love to see some more basic elements. - Beatmatch/sync (and to also show the BPM of the songs) - Pitch lock to stop the pitch from changing when changing tempo - A few more effects like Backspin and Brake So far, the developers have done a fantastic job on this! The UI, the performance and even the fact that this is the first DJ app I have bought that can get songs straight from the iPod app! GREAT! ✓ StunningI remember years ago when I bought my first brick of an iPod, dreaming that one day someone would create a way to DJ from an iPod and cue things up with the little scroll-y wheel. Ok there's no scroll wheel but this is tons better. Plain awesome, simple and it works, great little touches and highly responsive on an iPhone 4. I love the cue points to hop around a track and love the way you can incrementally tap pitch or put pressure on the platter to slow things down like a real deck. Whoever made this has definitely done their fair share of DJing on physical turntables. well done!.Version: 1.0
