✓ Fish snobs and know it alls.I went on their and posted a basic question about stocking an aquarium I was belittled for my lack of knowledge of this hobby. The answers where condescending and sarcastic. These people hide behind a keyboard. When I challenged not the content but their tone and attitude. I was reprimanded. When I challenged the moderators reasoning. I was given some kind of negative mark. Being that when I was chastised it was mentioned that the site does not permit anything offensive. I brought up to the moderators an image that pokes fun at Jesus Christ. They said it was just a joke. Being far from religious I let it go. Especially when I found out that the image belonged to one of the moderators who was trying to sanction me. I stayed off for awhile and then posted a thread on the difference between two fish and I added three pictures which I got from a google search of the fish's name. It was two fish and a woman in a devil costume. It was far from provocative. But those were the top three images that came up. Needless to say I was banned from the site. When I got a private message saying the the picture was offensive and I told them to shove it..Version: 1.6.2
✓ Horrible. DO NOT GET!I went on to write in some of the forums and all I got was cyber bullying. People were calling me a fish killer and some one actually told me to go die because that's what I was doing to my fish. I asked about their "concerns" at my local pet store and the lady at my local pet store said it was all not true at all and that my fish are fine and will live longer than most. This forum doesn't even get a full star but I can only give them one. Horrible. I hate it..Version: 1.6.2

✓ Newest UpdateI used to love this app. Any Information I wanted was a quick search away. It was so simple to use. The latest update is horrible in my opinion, every search I do comes up with 0 results, not nearly as user friendly as before. Very disappointed, I used to use this app daily, since the update I can't be bothered. The only up side is being able to see the rating of the person giving you advise. Add that and being able to update your profile to the old version of this app and you would have a winner..Version: 3.1.1

✓ CrapCrap forum, there's a tight nit group on there who go around bullying learners of the hobby, then if you give these bullies a piece of there own medicine, the administrators which are part of this tight nit group will warn you then ban you because they don't like how it feels. Very sad and pathetic..Version: 1.5.6
✓ Good, but a few glitchesThe app is great for keeping up to date quickly with posts on the forum. my only problem was when I lost 3G coverage and was logging in; the app said it had lost connection and was stuck on the load in screen and didn't reset. it needed a reboot of the phone to work again. slight error but above all, top app..Version: 1.5.12
✓ AwfulThis was very unhelpful. I was having troubles with my fish tank and didn't know what to do . I found this app and thought my problems would be gone, nope. First this app is confusing as hell I don't even know where to post my question because of the layout. It told me I had to be a higher level owner to post questions. Secondly, it made my phone glitchy, you would click this app and it would freeze your phone. Then you turn your phone off and your home screen is all screwed up as in you can't get back on the phone until you turn it off again. If you want "aquarium advice" Don't ever come to this app. 👎.Version: 5.4.13

✓ Horrible peopleThe mods are extremely rude. I posted a thread and i didnt get any responses so i made a different thread in a different section. A few minutes later i got a warning message about reposting threads and i nicely told the mod that i didnt know the rules very well and it was an honest mistake. I then received an infraction notice and i replied that i didnt understand why. I then got another infraction notice from the owner. The conversation then got a bit heated. I started being more aggressive and i kept saying that it was an honest mistake. They said i was being rude and that i was breaking the rules. I then got a lifetime ban. I got banned for making an honest mistake. Very rude and ridiculous people..Version: 1.5.14
✓ New update lacks functionalityI love the app's new look and the overall service, but there are several things to complain about. First, the search function does not work. Also, when I look at my posts, it says I have none. Also, there is nowhere to view photo albums within the new update. It would be nice if they could fix these bugs in the next update. ✓ BoooooooWas a app I use to use daily as I'm a massive fish keeper(6 tanks), had very helpful people on there till the last update and it has filled up with 12 yrolds that are mega rude to there elders, ended up deleting it i was very disappointed... I'm sticking to Instagram.Version: 3.1.1
✓ Lots of info........I really like that there are lots of people with opinions and advice to offer. However, there are definitely "clicks" where certain people will only respond to certain people. If they don't like your answer or you suggest a different way of doing things you aren't part of the group. This is particularly true of some senior members who come off as "fish snobs." ✓ Be careful!I like to read and learn from other aquarists and occasionally write a post or try to answer a question if I can. There are some very combative users that like to interject at times which makes the site unpleasant at times. I got a slap on the hand from an administrator for "hijacking" a post when it was not myself who changed the subject!.Version: 3.8

Then the app froze and hasn't gone back to normal, since. ✓ Good but a little lack of discipline.I love this app for it's information and the people that know what they are doing. However you will pick up real fast on "know it all's" and people who think it's their way or no way. You will find very nice people but also some very "snappy" people that just makes the app unpleasant. Their are also people that are "showoffs" that like to brag and think they are "perfect". There are people who look at every post and will cut out somethings but it is easy to tell that they have favoritism towards certain people. Excluding those kinds of people, overall great app!.Version: 1.4.10
