✓ Useful information.But it's buried deep amongst a bunch of unrelated chatter most times. If you actually participate in a conversation think carefully about every word you say, if you upset a senior member or worse, a "moderator" your comments will get censored or deleted and you'll be threatened with getting booted from the site. Newbies get threatened for doing what the regulars routinely do..CaptMurfVersion: 1.6.2

✓ Constantly freezesThis used to be a great app, but over the last month or so the upgrades make it virtually impossible to use on an iPad as the buttons do not work and you can not go back a screen, particularly on the forums. I would stick with the web until they fix this...which they do not seem to be in a hurry to do..BrettM35Version: 1.6.0

✓ This app version disappointsThe older 3.8 version dated from 2014 worked much smoother on my iPad. Background refreshes worked as they should, typing text was fast, no complaints. This new version updated in 2017 will start freezing if you type text too quickly.....very annoying. The refreshes don't seem to happen automatically as I set them....I have to do it manually every time. The only thing this version has going for it is it allows higher resolution screenshot photos to be uploaded than the older version. I wish I could go back to 3.8 !.RVDream222Version: 5.3.7

✓ Lots of info, but....I like the app and all the information it makes available, but when I tried to register in order to participate in some of the discussions I was surprised at the amount of information I was being asked to provide. Way more info than I felt comfortable providing in this day and age. It looked to me like marketing people were gathering info in order to target potential customers for who knows what. I don't think they really need my full DOB and address, etc. to participate in a discussion. When I questioned this I was told it was up to me as to how much information I provided when registering. Really? Then how come I couldn't go to the next page if I left any of the "required" information blank? Maybe they meant I should just fill in the blanks with false information. ✓ Times-out & has protocol errors frequentlyI often view "current" threads. When clicking on an interesting thread update the app times out about 20% of the time. Re-clicking usually works. When viewing from a web browser the same function always works, so it appears as if this is an app issue and not a server or network problem. ✓ Can't postThe app is great for being able to read what others post. However, it is impossible to sign in or post due to in app error messages. Even if you manage to log in (I did this via a browser), the "rules" won't let you start a thread, respond to a thread, edit your own posts, or post a response. ✓ Was a great app!Just found there is no fault in my iPad, the app does not use the bottom 25% of the screen. It shows, but is not touch sensitive. You can overcome this by rotating the iPad so that the "dead" area is not where you want to touch, but this is not good. ✓ Badly ran forumForum seems great at first, than you quickly realize the Moderators that run the forum have no clue what they’re doing.
