✓ MehI wish I could give this app a better review but it spams you with notifications (like I’ll have a friend reply once but I’ll get notified literally five times) and if you delete the app and redownload it, good luck trying to get that same account back. I can’t get in with my email or my old Zangi number and there isn’t a password they make you put in so anyone could get into your account even if there was a way. Also, don’t even bother contacting them. I emailed them and guess what? No reply. At all. Not even from a AI bot. So we’ll this app was really good aside from that, I would strongly recommend using a different app to contact your friends..Version: 5.2.8
✓ Problems sending picturesIt will not allow me to add a picture to my profile, nor can I send pictures?.Version: 5.4.5
✓ Missing key features for an encrypted messaging appFirst, I need to say that this is a good traditional messenger app. Links show up with nice previews, gifs auto play, "FaceTime" and the rest of the usual bells & whistles. Now, as an encrypted messenger app, it's good because it has end-to-end encryption, nothing is stored or passes through any other party. However, I did give it three stars because I believe there are at least a couple necessary features that are missing from this app. Zangi doesn't have disappearing messages, you can't put a Touch ID or Face ID lock on the app, and you can't use a decryption key of your choosing. I've also noticed some really strange behavior like random pictures from my photo album being sent when all I type is text. Also, I've found that many of my text replacements won't work if I type and send the message quickly. Honestly, I prefer the messenger app "Signal", but I have friends on both, so I use both. I will admit that Zangi has the better GUI though..Version: 4.4.5

✓ Unable to save conversationsThis is a good message app except for the fact you are unable to save a complete conversation, which, in my view, renders it a bit useless if you want to keep an easily accessible document of meetings etc. You are able to share a few speech bubbles within a conversation, but after much testing, it max’s out after about 10! I’m not keen on Facebooks Messenger, but at least whole conversations can be exported easily. Shame..Version: 4.6.7
✓ Doesn't workI always try to encourage any armenian made app , but this by far worst one , I've tried it in Armenia with an Armenian phone number !! ✓ Doesn't really work, does it!Have not been able to actually use it. After several tries to connect with other Zangi contacts. After it fails to connect it suggests connecting thru a competitors service which is pretty funny..Version: 3.3.0
✓ I wish them luck.I really want to like this app. But can't. I finally talked my sister in to installing it on her phone and she never showed as a Zangi contact on mine or I on hers. I love the way the app looks in the pictures and I really like what the app is supposed to do, but without the app being able to see my friends that are also using it, it's pretty much dead in the water for me or anyone I know using it as a app to app service, I saw a article, didn't read it, just the title. Zangi wants to be a Skype killer. From my experience they have lists of work to do. Zangi looks better than Skype but Skype works, worked first time after install, worked so well that I bought a number and a years worth of service. Zangi had trouble with activation, constantly logs itself out, I have sent requests for help in to Zangi and have received no replies or help. Funny that. I sent request for information on some pay services and had immediate responses, but needing help resulted in crickets. I may try back later to see if it's any better, but for the moment I am overly disappointed..Version: 4.3.0

✓ LiarsBought into whole "messenger that uses the least data for voice calls" hype, article written by Zangi themselves, as i discovered later. They claim to use only 216kb per minute for calls. That's a blatant lie. downloaded to try, made a few test voice calls - no video, no pictures - according to their own app's log history, 10 SECONDS took 307kb of data. Moreover, when calling another zangi for free, the call does not go through (my husband is literally sitting next to me with his phone out while i'm calling him) forcing u to pay through using "zangi out". ✓ CarPlay & Siri API supportZangi is growing on me. I want this app to succeed after Viber stopped supporting my Google Voice number account. Zangi has potential, but it isn't quite there. Biggest selling point for me is the lower data use, but honesty WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger data consumption isn't far behind, and I may switch soon. These apps are polished. If you could add support for CarPlay and SiriKit, features would help keep me here. The biggest aspect for me is supporting quality calling over poor wifi and cellular networks, especially while driving... low data usage has the key to make this obtainable. I'd also like to use a desktop client for messaging when I am working on the PC..Version: 4.2.1
