Bubble Harp draws bubbles around your mouse’s strokes, recording and replaying your movements while creating music. It’s a combination of drawing, animation, music, art, geometry, and gaming. You can record long movements of a single point, or stream many points out of your cursor like ink. Through the pop-up control panel at the screen’s bottom, you can change from single points to streams of points, change graphic and sonic parameters, and load and save files. Bubble Harp was first released as a work of interactive art by Scott Sona Snibbe that was only available in galleries and museums. Now it’s available as a Mac application that also makes music.

✓ Simple innovationReading some of the reviews below it is clear that some folk have an idea of what this program should be and when it isn't quite what they thought they are frustrated and frustrating. That is being polite. Sure this is a lovely program for children but as an adult/adult musician you should try to think outside the box, leave your cosy safe zone and enjoy the new possibilities it offers. 5 stars from me. I am very happy that software writers are pushing the envelope. It is not REACTABLE but it is a very interesting program and well worth every penny..Version: 1.0

✗ Save your moneyThis would be an awesome free app, but save your two bucks. I was mosly interested in the musical aspect, which could easily be compared to a child pessing the keys of a piano at random. The visual part is pretty cool, but not really amusing beyond five minutes..Version: 1.0
