Metronome Ϟ for Negative User Reviews

Incompatible with Apple AirPod ProWanted to use this app while running but the app is unresponsive shortly after 3-5 seconds if I’m connected to my AirPod pros. Not sure about the compatibility with other Bluetooth earphones..Version: 3.3.2

Skips beats/occasional beats not in timeSometimes the app will randomly skip a beat or play two beats quicks or just randomly put a few beats out of time. Extremely annoying. Otherwise I like the layout of this app but this issue makes it unusable..Version: 3.3.5

Keeps time... that’s about it.I’m a high school percussionist (drummer for you uneducated lot), and I was looking for a cheep met. I found one. There’s nothing fancy about this metronome, set your tempo, and press the start button. It does not show you the count, only the beat. One thing that is good about it is that it can set your flashlight to blink with it. You definitely get what you pay for. I have a pretty good sense of time, so I only use it to get that one tempo in my head. Listening to it for long gives me a headache though..Version: 3.3.2

Can no longer display upside down on iPhoneAs this app drains the battery so fast, I prefer to keep the iphone powered when using it. However, it suddenly no longer displays with 180 degree rotation like it used to. So now it is very difficult to use when the phone is on the music rest upside down. Having the phone on its side is a very awkward compromise. Please re-enable 180 degree portrait mode..Version: 3.3.5

A special Thank YouIt needs improvement as it doesn’t include a different sound at the start of each bar which we could also adjust. But so far so good. I hope other musicians enjoy this app as much as I do. Thank you!.Version: 3.3.5

3/4I can’t change to any other time signatures without paying.Version: 3.3.2

Free version reviewThis is a review of the free version so it’s possible my issue won’t apply to the paid version. The metronome makes the same exact sound for every beat where as most metronomes make a different tone or sound for beat 1 which helps you keep in time and also count bars/sections. So there isn’t really any point in using this metronome app in its free version..Version: 3.3.5

Pretty good … except for one thingThis metrotimer app is pretty good. I downloaded it on my iPad last year and it was easy to use and free (no money was needed to change things). However, when I tried downloading it on my phone just a few days ago, I needed to pay money for changing many things. I’m not sure why the creators did that, but it wasn’t a good idea in my opinion😐.Version: 3.3.5

Hate itIt always does 4/4 time and l want it to be2/4 also i wanted to give it zero stars..Version: 3.3.2

Decent but needs upgradesSiding blue line to increase tempo creates a static sound in the ears and volume of click increases with tempo.Version: 3.3.2

Why do we have to pay? This is a good metronome app if all you want is strait quarter note beats, otherwise you have to pay for a subscription. I know that’s how the app company gets its money and all but I feel like there are other ways besides ‘pay to play’..Version: 3.3.5

Stupid omissions spoil itWhen it’s quicker to manually enter a tempo than to get to a preset you know something isn’t right. This and you cannot edit presets or create a set list even with the so called pro version. As for the absurd “human voice” count, the least said the better!! Lastly an obvious addition which in fairness I can’t find on any metronome app is to vibrate the phone instead of a sound. Extremely disappointed to have wasted even a small amount on this when there are better apps for less or for free..Version: 3.3.5

Can’t change the setlist order any more… WHAT GIVES?I love this app and have recommended it app to so many students as well as fellow professional musicians. I love how configurable its features are, such as time signature, voices, subdivisions. The sounds alone are far superior to any other metronome app in the App Store. And the tap tempo feature is always so quick and easy when trying to clock the tempo of any song I’m working on. However, the most useful feature for me has been being able to save particular metronome settings for each song and then arranging the song click settings in a playlist or setlist order on a gig-by-gig basis. Recently, I noticed that I could no longer rearrange the order of the different songs’ clicks, and to do so would mean I’d have to create a brand new click for each song. I’m wondering why this feature was taken away, and if it may be able to come back..Version: 3.3.5

>:(Sometimes when I open this app it doesn’t have any sound.Version: 3.3.5

Nice app, high iOS requirementDowngrading my rating because of the iOS 13 requirement. I don’t see what is it this app can do that is incompatible with iOS 12, which some of the devices in my household still run..Version: 3.3.5

Money takes overFor a metronome, it does the job, well and efficiently. With multiple functions of sound and rather settings it can suit for multiple locations. Unfortunately it advertises it ‘pro version’ too much, even though the features are hardly different and the interface needs work for iOS status..Version: 3.3.5

Works well in general but room for improvement.Overall I have been impressed by this app, but I do feel there is room for improvement especially as I have paid for the full version. Yesterday whilst I was using the app in a live situation, the click track was playing and suddenly stopped and the app became unresponsive. I had to close and start the app before it would work again. There must be an underlying bug as this was the only app open at the time. The next is I want the ability to edit my presets. We have a preset for each song but from time to time we want to tweak the tempo, accents or click sound which you can’t do just now unless you make a new preset. It would be nice to have a wider variety of clicks to choose from. If these points could be addressed I would be happy to amend my rating of the app. Thanks..Version: 3.3.2

Presets not saved consistentlyI can’t get presets to save consistently. Do not buy Pro version!!!.Version: 3.3.5

Good appThis is a good app I use it for my drum practice I rlly like and will use it often! I have no problems with it but I do have a suggestion: have a setting that allows you to know when the first beat of the bar is - it could be a higher sound or something like that!! I would recommend this app 😁.Version: 3.3.2

Skips beatsYa.Version: 3.3.5

Used to be good but they removed the features and put them behind a $60 subscriptionUsed to be good but they removed the features and put them behind a $60 subscription..Version: 3.3.5

:lIt helps with piano, catching the tempo and stuff but it’s just there for support. So idk.Version: 3.3.5
