✓ Left Right Needs WorkSo far, I think it is a great app overall. In settings, you can choose to work on only the concept(s) you want. However, the company needs to do some serious thinking and work on their left/right category. There is a world of difference between working with what is on the left and what is on the right compared with what is facing/pointing left or right. I wanted to work with left/right with my son in this app, but having instructions as complicated as "Touch the child facing right" is so ridiculously confusing that I don't dare even try left/right with him. It would be nice to have two things to choose from in options: beginners left/right and advanced left/right. And, when they want the child to touch the item facing/pointing left or right, they need to stack the pictures on top of each other so that neither is ON the left or right. Finding the app be so inflexible was so disappointing. I don't know if there are similar types of problems in any of the other categories..Version: 3.0
✓ Photo Touch ConceptsI am a practicing SLP in the school setting and I buy many apps; but this is the first time I have ever bothered to write a review. I ABSOLUTELY love this app. It's a good tool to evaluate, increase student awareness, and teach concepts that will be utilized within the classroom setting. With demands for test taking starting earlier and earlier, this is a great way to help prepare our little kiddos for what's ahead. Now all you need to do is add space for student name, data collection for each concept and percentage of correct/incorrect responses that can be saved and shared (email). Also add a place to take notes. Thx This is an awesome app!!!!!!!.Version: 1.9
✓ Good for descriminationLike the app for students who are struggling with paper and pencil activities. I can see some students learning opposites and directionality with this, just wish it could be custom able for limited tries to get a result to record score for data purposes. Maybe it will come with the pay version, but in the meantime I will still use it with my kindergarten/first grade student..Version: 3.0

✓ Concepts appI like the app a lot, but would prefer that the concepts be more developmentally organized. Some are early (easy) learned, mixed with later developing concepts. This makes some too Hard for young kids and some too easy for older kids..Version: 3.0

I would give it 5 stars if there was a break in questioning every 20 questions of so with some very simple game to encourage the child. the child I am using it for has Down Syndrome and will tire easily without something else to do. the positive affirmations will not be enough to engage him long. The concepts it teaches however are varied and easily understood. thank you for this app and keep up the good work..Version: 3.0

If you turn off the sound, you can modify the task to provide more practice with certain concepts that the child needs to work on. ✓ Unique and much-needed app!I really wanted a concepts app to use with my special needs child. This app delivers really well. The ability to focus on just one or a few concepts at a time has really helped him master each concept. I have many Grasshopper apps on my iPad and they do some great work and their customer service is responsive. ✓ Great app, just needs proofing for consistancyLove the app and the concept. The biggest thing I noticed was inconsistancy in the voice prompts and wrong answer. Sometimes it would request you to touch the item, other times it only said the item's name. Also, sometimes the bell didn't sound when the wrong answer was selected. At first I thought my son wasn't touching them quite right, but when I played with the app, I found the problem to still be there on some of the questions. LOVE the variety of categories. It did give me an idea that may be beneficial to children who do best with shorter prompts, to have an option to choose the length of the prompt (i.e. Long "Touch the biggest cat" or for short "Biggest Cat").Version: 3.0

✓ Nice app great concepts needs a little tweakingI like the app and I certainly think my children will benefit from it but it needs some clean-up. Error sound didn't always work; there were several times that he pictures contained 2 correct answers (choose the animal with a fin and the was a shark and another fish); some concepts used very subjective pictures ( choose the most expensive car, needs different pics) and a few others.
