✓ This pretty much has everythingThis is by far the best alarm app I’ve ever used. The customization seems to leave nothing out. I love that it simply announces the time for you at whatever interval you want. “It’s 6am.” Okay, cool. I get to decide whether I want to get up yet. “It’s 6:05am.” Sweet. I’ve slept in 5 minutes. No biggie. “It’s 6:10am.” Sigh, alright I guess I’ll get up now. It’s non-pushy and non-judgemental which is just how I like it. I also enjoy having the weather announced so I can get an idea of what to expect during my day. There are options to play music or record your own wake-up messages - literally whatever you can want. ✓ FunctionalI can’t jump for joy over this app, but, it definitely serves its purpose. I do like that the temperature is shown on the clock face. I don’t have much use for more than that and the alarm itself, which is effective, also. My only other suggestion might be to have a timer option, as well. I do use a timer frequently and would love to use just one app for both. One con is that there seems to be an option or two which don’t actually function correctly..Version: 14.5

Looked over several clock apps and decided on this one. Wish I had the option to change the voice like I do for Siri. Love waking to a soothing voice rather than a sound. Loving this alarm. It’s very soothing for me, and if you get it without ads then you just have your nice pretty picture you can put on yourself where they have plenty of their own pictures you can use and you get to see just nice pictures and nothing else or you could add music to fall asleep to music. The local weather report option is very useful as are the scheduled meetings announcements for the day. ✓ Best clock ive usedGreat features and easy to use. I would recommend buying this app to anyone who wants a good clock. Best feature is the ability to adjust night mode to a thin font with a really black background so no bright glow like others ive used the display can brighten after alarm or at scheduled times. Customer support better than expected they replied to a question within hours on a Sunday I purchased the add free app after a few days great value as a lot of more basic clocks are monthly subscription im sure no one really want to pay every month for a clock. ✓ Finally found my perfect alarmI constantly run late and the morning countdown in the shower with my tunes blasting, keep me in time. I was going to make some convoluted Siri shortcut, but no longer! Now I get the time, weather, my schedule and trivia (totally random, love it!) and a countdown in like 11 different English accidents. Plus the developer is prompt and takes cares of their users. ✓ KellyI love Talking Alarm Clock !!! I have been using it for at least 2 years. I have been fired for 3 jobs for not waking up for work. ( I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). THIS APP has literally been a life saver for my career and thus myself and my children. I tried everything out there such as the thing you chase around the room to the thing you wake up and stand on, the alarm you have if you get lost in the woods, the one that stimulates morning time ( I work nights )and the clock that projects the time on the ceiling. Inevitably I would turn them off and get in bed with little recollection due to exhaustion. With talking alarm it tells you what time it is and you never have to open your eyes to know that if you don’t get up now that you are going to be late. You tell it the times to set and if you want to be nagged and even what to say ( to the morning you ) , cause if you’re like me that person is a different creature. I have finally been able to set an alarm to tell me to get up and take my medicine ( I have to take medicine to stay awake ) and then set another alarm to wake up to get ready for work . ✓ I love the app.I love all the different functions it has!! One thing I’d like to see change is if the talking alarm could be louder. It really doesn’t wake me up as it is, I have to add other alarms. Also all the wallpaper videos don’t work. Only some of them do. And when I set it to the fish tank which is my favorite, it doesn’t stay there. Meaning the next time I put the alarm on, it switches to a different video that I didn’t select. I was happy to find that the creator continued to update it and has made great progress. It now works perfectly and exactly what I wanted. So far I am really happy with it. Great work! Hence I snooze without looking at the time, and tend to run late because when I finally am less groggy enough to peek at my phone, it is typically far past the time I was supposed to wake up. As a college student I am getting little sleep, so as a deep sleeper and someone who finds it difficult to take up early, this app helps a lot. Having the time announced makes me more aware of how many more times I can actually press snooze, even with my eyes closed. ✓ Don’t know what I would do without this app!!Yes, it really is that amazing! It is 100% reliable and has never failed me, which is obviously of utmost importance (and should be a given in an alarm app, but isn’t always!). But what I love most is how customizable it is, which allows me to LITERALLY begin my day exactly the way I want to! One of my favorite features is being able to hear my day’s agenda and the weather forecast so I can plan my day (and I sometimes use the recording feature to record an important reminder, motivation, etc.). I also love being able to integrate Caseta dimmers with TalkingAlarm (I currently just use a plug-in dimmer to turn the family room light on for those really early, dark winter mornings). There are too many great features to list, but one last fave is the ability to customize the display so I can have a large, yet dim, bedside clock. It also has a bedside clock-ish mode when you turn your phone sideways which I have been using. For developers: i’ve tried a few alarm clock apps (and I like this one) but if you want a tip for background alarms, I’ve seen some other apps send multiple notifications when the alarm goes off. ✓ Outstanding talking alarm appI’ve been looking for an alarm app that provides not only the date and time but the weather as well with speech. The App Store doesn’t help much unless you know the name of the app. I was on another site searching this morning for such an app and someone mentioning this one. I not only downloaded it, but after testing various scenarios and customizing to my preference, I loved it so much that I purchased the add free option. I only recommend the below in a future update: 1) Allow the music to play on lesser time than one minute before the alarm starts. For example, 10 or 15 seconds vs the minimum bring 1 minute. I like that the music will start before the alarm, but I’d rather not hear it for a whole minute before hearing the weather and my appointments. 2) Provide clock display option that includes seconds. I’d like to see how many seconds I have until the next alarm if it’s under a minute. I did not remove any stars for the above enhancement requests because I love the app..Version: 8.1

I am able to set up any type of alarm I need, and I’m not limited in how many alarms I can set. ✓ MHThis is really working for me. Finally I found something that works. I love how easy the clock is to read at night. This is the first week I’ve used it. Hearing a voice and having random alarms going off I do wish there was an option that would make the phone vibrate in addition to all of the vocal and alarm noises incase I forget to turn the volume up. That way if I would hear the vibration possibly or feel it if it was next to me on the bed. I have wondered if the alarm clocks that individuals that are Deaf could somehow be incorporated to help deep sleepers and vivid dreamers like me that can’t wake up out of such realistic dreams and nightmares. I have PTSD and sleeping disorders of insomnia and restless leg syndrome. My dreams are so vivid that I think I am awake. ✓ The perfect clock with one issueWithout doubt, this clock is in a class of its own. No other clock that I’ve tried comes close in features or quality of features. But! I do have an issue. I’m using the app on an iPhone X on a a charger in portrait mood. Most of the features are turned off other then those that make it possible to have a thin, large, red font showing. No music, no alarm, just the fade to dim after one minute. The problem! Periodically when I attempt to open the app, it opens in portrait to show the background and then stops the install and will not complete the install. When I rotate to landscape the screen is black. If I shut the iPhone down and then restart it, problem solved for a few days. Another solution is to delete the clock app and reinstall, again the problem is resolved for a while. ✓ Basic Yet PerfectOverall, this is a very simple, basic app. It is very intuitive and easy to use. Any issues that are in this app are directly explained in the app and usually have to do with Iphone compatibility issues, such as having to leave the app open rather than in the background for full use, though it does offer a background version that has fewer options. I do wish the provided alarm tones and voices could be a little bit louder, but that probably on Iphone’s end as well. The clock face size is adjustable, as well as the font and background colors. ✓ Please helpI just purchased this app and am trying to set multiple alarms. When I do that it deletes the previous alarm. I need multiple alarms DAILY. How do I set that? ✓ I LOVE THIS APPI’m not a morning person. Having ADHD doesn’t make things easier. I was looking for an app that could talk so it could remind me about earlier morning appointments I cannot afford to be late for. I found it and I can’t recommend it enough!! I love the fact that it has a Siri-esque voice to speak the texted memos out loud. It also has a feature where you can record your voice as a memo and your voice will play when the alarm goes off. I enjoy the weather report and trivia games that force you to engage, so hitting snooze a dozen times isn’t really an option. I’m waiting for the day that the creators add “doll-feet-running-on-hardwood-floors-and-into-a-closet” to the sound effect list, cus you know ain’t nobody hitting snooze after hearing.
