✓ Fika . Birkenhead .Perfect brunch today at Fika and although we haven’t been for a while , won’t be leaving it as long before visiting again . Best Eggs Bene we have ever had, in Auckland and elsewhere . Each element on the plate was divine , including the delicious , Dutch style streaky bacon . We each had a little jug of extra hollandaise on request at no extra charge , although we offered . Coffee was good with minimal wait , but believe it’s much busier on the weekends . Helpful front staff and Sissy the chef is a creative wonder . Have had EB on the 3 occasions we have been , but intend trying something else from the menu next time . Unassuming little cafe which offers so much more than standard fare . A plethora of cafes on the Shore but Fika is a stand out ..Version: 12.0.9

✗ Erratic delivery times..USELESS APPDecent app and user friendly interface but that’s where the quality ends. Delivery times are unreliable (can’t track like uber eats) and frequently payment is charged before the restaurant can confirm that the order can be fulfilled and you’re stuck with a charged credit card looking for options to replace what you ordered. Same responses from Zomato customer service when you complain, “we will follow up and give the restaurant a stern warning “ etc etc. Nothing improves. For quick and reliable delivery times Uber eats is the way to go. UPDATE: I have long since deleted the app and no longer use it it’s a joke and I’m giving it one star because zero is not an option. After writing my first review 8 months ago I’d hoped things might improve but same story. Delivery is late or order is accepted and card is charged without the restaurant knowing if they can fulfill the order, you complain and they apologize and give you zomato credits, pointless. I use this app in the UAE and there are better options here.. don’t bother.Version: 16.5.2
✗ Behind the times for a food app!!!Zomato register all orders as ‘on its way’ when it isn't. There is no correlation between the restaurants courier service and actual delivery updates. They also fail to update menu’s so many when restaurants contact them to let them know some items are not available. This results in order delays when restaurants have to call to swap out items. Very disappointed in Zomato. There are so many alternatives available, i expected there system to be modern and sophisticated but its really not. Sort yourself out Zomato or you will not last..Version: 15.5.9
