✓ Life Changer.I have never been able to keep track of my periods so easily. Knowing when I’m due well in advance was never a reality for me before getting this app. My only con to this app is that I forget to enter the last day of my period on regular occasions and have to mentally backtrack. I wish there was a push notification or some kind of prompt on the day your period ends on average to ask if it’s over. It would improve my experience tenfold. ✓ Please readA few weeks ago I left a negative review as after 6 years of using the app, the recent update deleted all of my personal information. I was devastated. The Bellabeat team communicated and listened to me and from me just remembering important dates/key words, they managed to retrieve my lost data and exported it back to my account. ✓ All-Around Great TrackerI downloaded Period Diary about 4 years after I got my Mirena IUD. For those first few blissful years, I had no period whatsoever and life was grand. When it came back, I started tracking so that I could know when I needed to have pads and tampons on hand. As I logged more information, the tracker became more accurate and I was able to better estimate my cycle length and ovulation by pairing the app’s predictions with my physiological observations. It also comes in handy when at the gynecologist’s office and I’m asked for the date of my last menstrual period. I am not at the point of trying to conceive, but I imagine Period Tracker becomes even more useful in that scenario. Logging my period makes even that less than fun time of month a little brighter. The app is very easy to use and good at what it does. I’ll continue to use it for as long as I have a period!.Version: 3.6

✓ Easy to use and helpfulThis app not only looks nice, when its downloaded, it shows only as p.d on the screen so it can be a little more discreet. The app itself is very easy to use and looks lovely. The colours are bright, the pictures are nice and everything works very seamlessly. If your not great at working out ovulation and fertility, this app will do it all for you. It also works out your cycle length and gives you future predictions. ✓ Pretty goodI love using this app because I know when to start preparing for my period. There are a couple minor things though. First of all when I got this app I was so confused on how to use it. When I was on my period it said like "19 days left" or something and I thought "My period will end in 19 days?" I have figured this out though. So it would be nice if you could do a small tutorial video. Second of all, I applied a password but a couple months later I tried logging in and it said my password was incorrect and I know I did it right. I had to delete the app and download it again. ✓ A little difficult to understand, but great to use!I was originally using clue, but I felt like it wasn’t really helping me figure out my period, so switched apps. I have found this one a lot better, with more accurate results. It has more ways to record your period, and even let’s out write a note if you want to ad some extra detail. ✓ Using this App for 6 YearsI’ve been using this app for 6 years. Since the recent update I can’t even access my previous records. I don’t know what’s happened. I locked my app with a passcode it’s not even accepting it. I don’t want to lose my data and don’t know how to retrieve it. Edit: I’ve now rated it a 4 stars. I deleted the app then downloaded it again. I didn’t realise I had used my email account to login previously so I managed to restore all my data. I’m glad I found a way. I don’t think I’m going to use a passcode to lock the account in case I face the same problem and can’t access it..Version: 4.0.4

✓ Best period tracking appI’ve used this app every month to keep track of my period since 2014. I like to know what day I will likely be starting my period without having to calculate the days since my last period or remember the dates myself. So easy to use, just open the app and it gives you a countdown to what day your period should start, and in my experience it is usually very accurate down to the day. When first starting to track your period with this app, you will want to keep in mind that it will take a few months of logging your cycle for the app to accurately calculate when your next period will be, since everyone is different and it is based on how long your past cycles have been. ✓ I like itI love this application for tracking my period it has a lot of nice features. But the updated version is kind of ugly to me. The old one had a pretty flower that made me feel empowered to be a woman ( for the tabs) and also I really think they need to add on the feature when you get pregnant. Im very surprised they don’t have that already in there. Other than that I really enjoy this app. It has helped me keep track of my period cycle, and ovulation days which is so important! ✓ Period appI find period app quite helpful in terms of calculating my possible ovulation days. I find it the best so far from the other apps. Just Can’t find an option to switch from F to C to type down the temperature and the weight is just lbs, no option for kgs which is something l can survive with even though it would be really nice if they would put that option. ✓ Very useful ApI find this very useful to monitor symptoms and mood swings etc as well as being able to see how many days you have left and predicted future dates which if you have a holiday planned, can be a life saver. ✓ Pop ups galore; it does it's jobI have never been able to properly keep track for whatever reason. This app has been great in keeping me on top of it. No more guessing! I love how it estimates the days for me and averages everything out. Easy to use, minus a star for all of the ridiculously annoying pop ups that fill the screen and/or suddenly appear when you go to click on something. Edit: I've apparently been using this app since 2011 and I still love it! They got rid of the pop-ups and I love how you can sync it with your calendar...(is that weird?) Anyhow, highly recommend it. ✓ 3 babies in 4 years and done!Using this tracker I successfully planned 3 pregnancies in 4 years. I liked that it gave a range of ovulation days, so we knew which week we should be "trying" on. Each time it was accurate because only once did it take us more than 2 months of trying. And one time it only took the one try. Perhaps we are just really fertile, but it was good to know when I would be fertile so we could also plan not to get pregnant in between babies. Now I'm done with baby making and I use it to track my period just so I know when it's coming and I like that I can add notes about my emotions and how heavy the flow is on each day..Version: 3.6
✓ Excellent! Can't live without it!I started using this app back in 2011. I'd noticed my periods had become irregular and wanted to keep track. In 2012 I was diagnosed with PCOS and with thanks to PD I was able to give accurate dates to my doctor and show how late and irregular my periods were! I use it every month and I truly couldn't be without it now! It's helpful to see predictions for periods (which helps with holidays) and also predications for fertility and ovulation (which will come in handy when my husband and I try for a family this year!) The only thing I'm disappointed with is the data isn't saved anywhere. I have been replying on this app since 2012, and it has always been accurate predicting my time of the month. No surprises blood spots! There are no pop ups, no in app purchase for some simple features, and no ads hopping out left and right like all the other period trackers out there. I especially dislike other apps with fake reviews, bumping their app to a 5 Star. This app however, star rating is not enough to even describe how much it has served me. ✓ Like the app but it needs key itemsAs a female ovulation and period tracker it seems like it’s missing one big “term” for flow under symptoms. Spotting is such a big thing in female Menstruation and it would be very beneficial to be able to log how many days prior to starting period or between periods a person spots. Being able to have it available with period info would make it a lot simpler when discussing with doctor. Another item I feel really should be added to this app is the ability to add the date of your last Pap smear and when the next one is due. I tried another one for a couple months because it was highly rated and seemed to have a lot of other features, but it was so annoying. I don’t want chat rooms, forums, or a million notifications. My only wish, and this is actually an opportunity that a lot of the period apps are missing, is I wish it could take into account if you were on a birth control. Even if it doesn’t actually give you “chances of conceiving “ numbers, it’s be nice to be asked if you’re on a form of birth control; if so, what kind; and when did it start/end. I understand that you can put all this info into a note on the app, but if it was actually asked and stored, you can find charts on that info. Just my opinion/suggestion. ✓ Absorlutely Fantastic, AmazingI was first put onto the app by my sister and as I forget alot due to having an auto Immune disease (Hashimotos) its hard to recall when the last period was and esp when I am irregular anyway. This help me to monitor and keep track of and allows me to recall when the start date was and how long it went for so if any issues arise i can automatically let the doctor know of changes etc. This i have also started up for my now 11 year old also just startig out. ✓ Really good but needs fixingThis is a really great app. I have been using it for quite a few years now and I log all my cycles on it. The new design is also great. However, from sometime my calendar is just totally green (meaning I’m fertile all the time which is wrong) and when I log my periods, there is no red, just green. I tried to contact support but I get an error message saying “please check email settings”? Can someone please help me out? I signed up for a basic version of this app in 2013 and loved it for many years until you changed it so dramatically and asked people to pay for the older version which was simple and perfect. Now you have update the app again and it’s lost the ability to recognise global date range I.e Australia which is one day ahead!! In addition to this, I’m trying to set up a two day reminder but there’s no enter button after selecting two days so how the hell am I supposed to update it!?! ✓ Erased dataUPDATE: time zones affect the data on your calendar so heads up if you’re going on vacation and see that your data’s been erased?!?! The team responded to my email and once arriving home, my data was recovered. I’ve been using this app for over two years and have grown from just logging my periods. I would log my intimate dates and end up using this as a legitimate diary to log about my days. I traveled today and when I opened my app to show a friend something, all my logs were erased with the exception of one I wrote two days ago. Alongside all the days I was intimate have been eradicated and it’s frustrating to lose all this data. ✓ Best period trackerI’ve been using this app for over a year, and haven’t had any problems with it. I’d love for there to a notification option, or better yet, an email option. So that you could receive a private email reminder (or app notification) when you’re 5-7 days away from starting. In some weeks, I’ve used the notes sections, but I find that I rarely remember to use it. At the risk of being annoying, it might be helpful to have a “What are your symptoms and emotions today?” notification in the evenings during your period, and maybe a day or two before and after? ✓ A few bugs.First off before I criticize this app I must say it is still an app on my phone and I use it and it is very handy and is the best period tracker I've used. Now there is one bug. When I start my period the app sill says I'm late. And everyday of my period I have to manually click on each and everyday I'm on it, and it keeps saying can not change can not change, or it will delete my Previous day of starting my period, or it will think I started my period everytime. It does not manually count I have to click each and everyday from start to end my period, or it will say my period lasted 1 day. So I kinda have to fight with it to get my start to end date correct. ✓ Flower period appThis app is the best one I have found. My daughter just turned 13 and will not download it on her phone. She’s very embarrassed and doesn’t want anyone to see it. So, it’s on my phone. She just calls to tell me her cycle started or ended. She was pretty cute when we told her about her period would be coming in the next few years. She asked “ does it only happen one time”? I said “no, it happens every month”. That didn’t go over well at all. Then she asked “ how many times total would she get it?” I said for about 40 years. It was totally hysterical to me how she reacted but she was completely mortified. So, going back to the original question- yes! It’s a fantastic app and I hope it gets off my phone soon. ✓ Everything is excellent except for the designThe app is great. It has every feature you might need and it's very simple and easy to use. I just take issue with one thing: design. All of the skins look really childish (like a Disney Princess app or something) and they are not at all discreet (which I think is something we'd all appreciate when updating it with intimidate details in public spaces). I wish the developers would go for something much more simple and inconspicuous (no flowers and flowers patterns with extremely bright colours everywhere), more like "Cycles". ✓ Loved it !!!I started looking for App because my husband and I want to have another baby. And I found that this amid a really good App so I gave it a try and sure it did help me a lot with my period track and also telling me the days I could get pregnant. It really worked. The first time I used it I tracked down my period by the second month i was going to used to track my period it showed that I could have a chance of getting period my husband and I try it and it sure did worked. ✓ Longtime userI love this period tracker app. I’ve used 2 different ones over the course of my life and this one helps me the most. One feature I would love to be added in an update: birth control methods, including surgical sterilization. I wish these period tracker apps would allow me to add in birth control. I love that it tracks my fertility, when I’m ovulating, and when I could be fertile. However I recently became surgically sterile. But I still get my periods. I would like to continue to use this app for tracking when I get my periods, but I wish I could turn off the fertility feature..Version: 4.3.6
✓ Great app!If you're rubbish at remembering to note when you have your periods ( like me!), then this is the app for you! I've been using it for about a year now & have found it really useful & (more importantly) accurate! It plots your periods & gives you your next due date based on the information you input & it's possible to note your moods & weight etc alongside your period dates too. ✓ 4 stars - frustrated with titleI like using this app because it tells me when my period will happen and that means I can then be cautions about going swimming etc. However I am not very happy with the changes made to the title when displayed on my home screen. Before it was changed to Period Diary, the discreet title P.D. meant that if anyone managed to get onto my phone at school, they would not be tempted to go on it and access any of my personal information off it. I have given it 4 stars because I am very happy with the app itself but not with the changes to the title..Version: 3.8
✓ Wonderful AppI got this app because I would constantly stress about when my period would start and then it would start at the most unexpected time. As you could guess this was quite frustrating. I tried a few different apps and they all wanted you to pay to have full access to the app. After I came across this, I was shocked at how well of an app it is. I found a simple layout with many different features, such as what symptoms I was experiencing and what’s moods i felt throughout the day. ✓ Amazing!Although I’m not on my period yet, I like to go onto my notes and put little messages like “It’ll be okay” and “Stay calm”. On some days, I read about periods. Sometimes I write what I’ll need when I’m on it. Great for remembering things and writing little messages. :) Suggested update you could do: Make something for the kids that haven’t got their period yet. ✓ Fantastic & kind of a life saverThis app has been so helpful & easy to use, it's been great for keeping track of my irregular periods & it help me figure out that something was wrong because I was having trouble falling pregnant, I went to a fertility specialist where I was diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis, a large fibroid & a rare condition that is quite dangerous so thanks to this app I'm able to estimate ovulation & periods much easier & let my dr know dates, details & notes. ✓ Best Period tracking/mood appThis is hands down the best period app I’ve ever tried (and I’ve downloaded and/or paid for quite a few over the years). I’ve had really heavy periods along with intense PMS each month for years, and wanted to try the app to help balance my mood swings and PMS, along with letting me know my cycle better. Along with helping to sync up my cycle so I know when I’m ovulating and allowing me to know ahead of time when my expected period will be, the app also does a great job every day of letting me know additional information like what vitamins I may need, or the best foods to accompany my flow. It also suggests workouts that are best, depending on the time in my cycle, which are great. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my PMS/cravings/mood each cycle and realize my body needed more nutrients than I was giving it..Version: 4.3.6

It is very helpful when talking to medical professionals about my health, and great for planning my life around when my period may be impacting my normal participation capacity. It’s easy to use and it’s great that it can give a prediction and keep record of menstruation periods. It is also not obviously a period app on my phone which is nice :) the only downside is that the data is not remotely saved, and so when my last phone died I lost all the data. ✓ The app is greatThis app is great! But after the update 3 days ago the calendar is wrong. If I click on calendar and today is the 24 it has it as a Monday. By February the whole month is wrong. It says February first is a Tuesday. Someone needs to go back and check. Also now when you are on the Home Screen you cannot jump ahead to see when you are most fertile during the whole fertile cycle. It was nice before the update you could look ahead for the different cycles to even see when your period might be due. Please fix all these issues!!! ✓ Staying on TOP of HormonesI started using the period calendar 2-years ago after having a partial hysterectomy to keep up with the revolving hormonal toll that happens every 28-days. I was looking to make a few calendar notes of cramps, hot flashes, nausea and stuff — instead I have learned MUCH MORE about my body than I could have ever anticipated. This calendar has flowers on it every month that point out to me that these are days of Ovulation. Prior to using this calendar I had trouble keeping up with that stuff. At this stage in my life it Really Makes A Difference. I am 48 and officially in menopause and thanks (in part), to this calendar I am not having a scary and unpredictable time. In fact it’s very predictable (hot flashes, chocolate cravings, sore breast, etc) thanks to this chronicling calendar. ✓ Most useful app I’ve ever usedI’ve been using this app since 2012. It takes only a few months for it to establish your pattern and it makes pretty accurate predictions. I knew exactly when I was ovulating and it helped make getting pregnant easier. I have recommended it to friends, who were also trying to get pregnant, and they too had successes using this apps predictions. I have been on and off birth control for the last 5 years and this app is the only thing that helps me know when I can expect my period. I literally downloaded this around 5 years ago because it was the first app I saw and it was free, so I was like “cool whatever yeah.” As time has gone on, the app has really adjusted to my cycle and since I’ve had it as a teenager and I’ve had my cycle figure itself out, now as I get my period and I go to log it in the app, the countdown is almost always at “0 days left!” Aka my period is going to start. ✓ Added “start period” buttonLol, I came here to specifically complain about not being able to press “start period.” Every time I started I would have an issue locating it, after the remake, but this time I pressed it and checked back a couple of days later and it still was counting down my period! That was a very convenient button on the last version before the app revamp. I’ve been using PD for 10 years now and it’s always been user friendly. I understand with a revamp changes will still be made and suggestions will be weighed heavily.
