✓ Amazing adult appI have been using this app frequently. Actually daily lately with a Wenickes aphasia patient in the hospital. iPad + Tactus apps = best acute care SLP tools! I also use them all in out patient and home care settings. Worth every penny. Highly recommended to SLPs working with adults. Also for patients/clients to purchase and use for homework practice..Version: 1.06
✓ Comprehension TherapyI cannot state enough how well this therapy app has helped my husband. It has been just over a year now since he had a intracerebral hemorrhage from a brain AVM that resulted in a stroke. He is very motivated especially when working with apps like this one. In fact he uses all the Tactus Apps. He will likely always have some cognitive deficits, plus he has visual deficits, however using these apps has improved his confidence levels and he feels the progress he has made. Amazing! Thank you Tactus Therapy for all your hard work and efforts in creating these wonderful apps..Version: 1.04
✓ EnlighteningMy 4 year old son has autism and has made so much progress on the iPad showing his ability to make choices in games, that I wanted an app that did more. Comprehension TherAppy is just what I was looking for. There are three ways to "play" (or test) -Listen, Read, and Listen & Read and then you have three more choices, Nouns (included in original purchase), Verbs (in App purchase for $3.99), and Adjectives (in-App purchase $3.99). In settings, Language choices are available (English, English UK, Spanish) as well as Difficulty, Field size, number of trials (10, 25, 50, 100, or infinity), email address for results, and child-friendly mode. In Listen, unlabeled pictures are presented and a professional narrator calls one word. The correct choice of picture results in a "ting" and an incorrect choice is given a hollow two-beat "drum" sound. Both are reinforced by color of red for wrong and green for correct. Here is where I am in love with this app. No matter how far your child proceeds in the trial, statistics are generated and you are prompted to email results. In Read, unlabeled pictures are presented and this time a single word text is visible. No audio prompts except for correct/incorrect reinforcers. In Listen & Read, three words without pictures are presented and an audio word is presented. This is an app that will grow with my son's abilities thanks to numerous settings options. It also gives me tangible data. As a side note, I learned something interesting while using this app with my son. I was able to notice how he approached his answers, and found that he was making choices based on begining word sounds..for instance, he would choose "beach" when asked for "bench". When I realized this, I encouraged him to hit the "repeat" option to hear the word again and a correct choice would be made. Lovely app and I can't wait to see what Tactus comes up with next!.Version: 1.02

✓ Therappy apps seriesAs a speech therapist using ipad apps every day I find this range extremely useful. The lack of cheers and sqeaky noises is great for my adults and they have all veered toward these professionally made apps rather than kids educational apps which serve a similar purpose. They do cost money though so patients don't really want to buy them for themselves! I like leaving people with stuff to practise every day that is meaningful and carefully structured. I would recommend them!.Version: 1.04
✓ Speech Language PathologistThis application offers speech therapists a "go-to" tool when working with aphasic patients, and patients with receptive difficulties. Pictures are clear, easy to see, and functional. It offers a range of levels of difficulty (i.e., easy, medium, hard), as well as, options related to field size in order to simplify or complicate the task. The app also provides the option to quantify the number of trials of the desired task in order to allow consistent data collection. Another bonus is the data collected from the task can easily be saved or emailed to a specified account in order to allow easy tracking of progress. Affordable expansion packs provide verbs and adjectives. Only request I have, is that the SLP could choose what category the pictures used come from (i.e., all food or all transportation or mix categories). Great job! ✓ Comprehension TherAppyI use this app on a daily basis as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the public schools and a private clinic. It's great for monitoring receptive vocabulary of adults and children. I've also used it with children that speak English as a second language. All the different options make it flexible for many different skill levels. Looking forward to incorporating the new apps into my therapy sessions..Version: 1.01

✓ Comprehension TherAppyI use this app as an SLP in the schools. It’s very flexible so it can be adjusted for each student according to need and is also nice for probing receptive vocabulary skills. The pictures are high quality photographs of FUNCTIONAL vocabulary. The options for customization include difficulty, number of trials, child-friendly, and field size. Data collection is included and can be emailed to track progress. There are no longer in-app expansion packs available for verbs and adjectives...even better...since the last update, they are included! This is a nice app for SLPs in school or medical seeting..Version: 1.03
✓ Nice App!This is a nice app for basic listening comprehension presented in three formats to change up the requirements and difficulty. I am using it with two specific patients who present with aphasia, and although both are moderate for comprehension issues and expression, they are sailing through the app without too much difficulty. I'm hoping that your developers will consider making the words more complex, branch into phrasing (although then it may be like your reading app) or consider difficulty levels for milder CVA's, TBI, post concussion syndrome, etc. Thanks in advance!.Version: 1.07
