✓ Great appNot sure why this has such a low rating from others, it is one of the best iPad magazines available. Downloading does take some time due to the size, but I've never had any problems with it working after. Great slick UI, good content which I'm sure will be better and more interactive in time. ✓ Great App!This is a really good app! The magazines take a while to download but it's so worth it! I downloaded the November issue and their's lots of neat little things(like sounds, animated features and videos) in their magazine too! ✓ Brilliant, with room for improvement.Congratulations for the smashing app, it's truly wonderful. I'm a Brit living in Seattle, and am very grateful to be able to check in with the true style authority (everyone here is wearing crocs and fleece and lumberjack stuff...it's a lovely town but everyone looks dreadful). Please would the developers consider a screen dimming feature such as iBooks features, so we can read without waking whoever is sleeping next to us... Maybe issues could download in the background too...I had to sit and wait for this issue to d/load as opposed to be able to check mail while I waited. I am absolutely delighted with this app. Bravo. ✓ Back to being goodI have updated my rating from 1 to 4 stars as the app is now back to a more iPad friendly version - single page ads, scrollable content. I’m happy to say that the experience is back to what it was before..Version: 33.0.0

✓ Problem subscriptionLive in USA have subscription through App Store until 2015. Can't download February 2014 issue to ipad air. GQ people say it is apple problem. Apple people say it is GQ problem. ✓ Reinvents magazines... Again!This magazine on the iPad takes us into new dimensions of fun and readability. You can't put it down... But that's also partly to do with Rosie looking so super hot on the cover. It's refreshing to see a magazine design two seperately optimised apps for iPhone and iPad. Very well done. You've made one full subscriber very happy. Keep up the good work. ✓ Setting the standard for digital magazines!Finally, an app that leads the way for how digital magazines should be! Rather than a static PDF style of a print version that pretty much all magazines on the iPad have been doing (and then wondering why it isn't selling) this magazine is interactive and the layout and design has been created to fit the iPad perfectly. Also, with other magazines on the iPad the digital price is similar to the print price (which people are just not willing to pay). GQ UK however is reasonably lower than the printed version at just £2.39. I just hope other magazines adapt their magazines to fit new mediums in the same way GQ has. That way magazines will have a stable future in the ever evolving multimedia industry..Version: 1.7.0.0.20688

✓ State of the artIf you really want to see what truly great digital publishing is about, then this is it. British GQ always was hipper and more insightful that the American version (remember their brilliant piece on Steve McQueen and Bullitt?), but this app takes fun to a whole new level. The opening photo shoot and video of the top British model is like something out of the movie Blow-Up from the 1960s. Nobody understands women or American culture like these guys. ✓ How can you get it so wrong?Simply awful app. No way to remain logged in so have to input full credentials with pretty much every use. Cannot reset password within the app itself. Issues take several years to download and will not download in the background; thereby forcing you to stare at the loading screen until your battery depletes or you die of boredom, whichever occurs sooner. ✓ Can’t down the subscriptionI have subscribed yearly through Apple Store. Could not open the magazine or neither download it. It keeps asking to pay for monthly issues even I already paid for 1 year subscription through Apple. After several times contacting Apple and Condé Nast développer, they keep ping-ponging each other, the problem is always from the other side… Meanwhile I don’t have access to what I paid for… and they don’t refund my payment even I canceled my subscription ….Version: 3.4
