✗ Cheat consumersI booked a hotel on the platform and wrote my actual review after checking out because of the extremely poor hygiene conditions, but strangely my review could not be found, and when I asked customer service I was told it had been taken down because my review had violated some "service regulations", and when I asked further what had been violated I was told “we cannot tell you”. I was shocked to find out that agoda deleted the bad reviews and left the good ones, isn't that cheating the consumer? What's the point of the website's rating of the hotel then? How can I trust them? In addition, agoda has no examine the hotel is good or bad, because the hotel I booked shows 4 stars, but the actual is a B&B converted into a shared room, hygiene conditions are very poor, I have taken photos to provide evidence, but agoda not only did not take down this hotel, but delete my review, and said that these information are directly uploaded by the hotel, that is to say, the platform has not examined these, so that consumers I am really angry and confused! I found this hotel on other platforms with a very low rating and had the same reviews as I did, but on agoda it showed clear positive reviews.Version: 10.37.0
✗ Poor customer serviceI travel a lot, using different apps to get best deal. I though I found a good price with this app, paid for the room, fees, taxes. After my trip I received a bill from the hotel for an extra charge for a residence fee. I was surprised because I was sure, I paid for everything when was booking and It didn’t say anything about any charges upon arrival. Connected with hotel, they said it’s their policy to charge for residence fee and Agoda (third party company) should inform me about that. I connect with costumer support, they took all info and told me wait 24hr for respond. Little later their confirmed me that I was charged extra for a residence fee and they can’t do anything about that. I emailed them 3 times, I disagree with the charges, they suppose to inform people advance and have this information when you booking, they are unprofessional. I just want to let people know, that this company doesn’t care about their customers, I will never book anything again with them. They keep saying sorry, but it doesn’t help and not fair..Version: 11.41.0
