Cardiograph Classic for Positive User Reviews

Very reliable & accurateI use this app to track my tachycardia & arrhythmia. Always very accurate. Excellent app, one I've recommended to many!.Version: 2.7

HandyEasily the most user friendly and accurate pulse app out there. I have a medical condition where pulse can elevate rapidly so this is handy for a quick check before I get bigger equipment out. Only improvement I can think of is a better history/log interface..Version: 2.4.3

CardiographeVotre nouvelle mise à jour est vraiment décevante!! Je ne peu plus me servir de cardiographe.Version: 2.9.9

Very helpful and convenientI like that it doesn't require external sensors. Has worked on all my iPhones through multiple generations..Version: 2.9.6

Very accurateTry the app, then manually try your pulse. Always right on within a beat or two. I highly recommend this app! I have tried everyone of these so called pulse meters, and this one is bang on. Cheers:).Version: 2.5.4

Very cool appI really like this app. Also had fun using it on other people. It seems pretty accurate..Version: 2.4.3

More infoNo info on what a regular or irregular heartbeat should be..Version: 2.9.11

Hassle free resultEasy to use and easy to see results over a period of time..Version: 2.3

CardiographThis App worked very easy on pre-iPhone 13. I was stumped at first and then found the App works very well with one of the new photo lenses. You will have to move your finger around until you find the correct lens..Version: 2.9.12

AwesomeIts really works.Version: 1.5

HelpfulNot an EKG, but a handy way to take your pulse and record irregular pulse. Some MD’s are skeptical if not hostile. Others find it helpful..Version: 2.9.8

Excellent adjunct to health maintenanceI often use this tool to get a general idea of the impact exercise and stress have on my heart rate. It is so simple and portable..Version: 2.9.6

Fantastic appThis app picked up an irregular heart beat which my doctor then prescribed medication for. It is an amazing app..Version: 2.9.6

The best design! It stands out!Really hate the flat design. This skeuomorphic design is outstanding, keep it alive!.Version: 2.9.12

FantasticThis is crazy, so useful and magical.... How do u guys even manage to make this?.Version: 2.4

CardiographGood and pretty accurate.Version: 2.9.7

Great Heart Rate AppFound this app very helpful on a daily basis. Easy to use compared to other heart rate apps. Seems very accurate and quick to get a reading..Version: 2.5

Beautifully designed appAll the heart rate apps I've used seem fine, but I like the iCloud integration with this one. I'd like to see fancy graphs added and the ability to export a PDF of all the history..Version: 2.6.1

Just worksReliable, and history works across all devices. Useful to track improving fitness.Version: 2.5

Excellent little App(This app is not a substitute for medical advice, nor should it be trusted above medical grade equipment) The App is a little finicky, but when running smoothly it is extremely accurate. Users just need to realize that this is a gentle task. No need to crush your digit into the camera lens; just let the phone rest gently on top of the tip of your finger and add a little pressure, if needed, by your free hand. I tried it once during hospital stay and the nurses were amazed that the device was keeping prefect rhythm with the heart rate monitor I was hooked up to. Nice interface, very intuitive, not a big Help section, but it doesn’t need it. Good job! - Kilrog P.S. I tried to find the beats per minute put out by the blinking red LED light of my 1994 2 Disc live Pink Floyd CD album entitled P.U.L.S.E. Didn’t work. However the App didn’t entirely ignore the classic. Try it!.Version: 2.9.11

AccurateBought this app when my pulse was over 100. It matched the machine the doctor puts on my finger. Last time I went my pulse was 62 and this app was also identical. So it's accurate for a good range of pulses. So it's a good tool to monitor your pulse. It uses the GPS and keeps a log so you find a pattern..Version: 2.5.4

Works!I tested this vs a medical scanner and 98% correct every time! Worth buying if you are looking for a scanner in your pocket with you at all times.Version: 2.4.1

AmazingThis was one of those apps that you think, well it's got to be fake, but your curious to see how it works. But to my amazement it really works and is very accurate!.Version: 2.4.3

PerfectVery accurate and able to keep track of previous measurements. I haven't found it to be picky about finger placement..Version: 2.6.2

CardiologicalAwesome.Version: 2.9.11

Wow!I now have a pace maker. I use this all the time. Life saver..Version: 2.6.2

Pretty CoolToo me it's a really cool app but to others it might be an amazing, convenient app because it tells you your bpm in a short amount of time and it's right there. Also I like how it keeps track of your uses of it so you can look in your history and see what your bpm was on that date and time..Version: 2.6.2

CardiographBPM App excellent pretty accurate too when checked against my blood pressure machine.Version: 2.4.3

NiceWow... great app. I was wanting an app like this. Does a lot and more..Version: 2.9.7

What has happened since upgrade ipad to ios8Really good and accurate app that for the last couple of days since upgrade of ipad to ios8.2 looks terrible the Ecg printout has a thick black line through it and date in history hard to read . July 2015 unable to delete any entries , makes the app crash . Please help.Version: 2.7

Perfect for my needsI prefer the Classic version to the new one. It's so easy for me to check my heart rate before, during, and after exercise with this app. I've shared it with many people and they are all impressed. I use it daily when I get up and am always thrilled to see that my heart rate is about 50 at age 74..Version: 2.9.6

Accurate Readings, Record Keeping Needs WorkThe main function of the app is great. It seems to be very accurate when I run comparison tests and I use it every day. However, the text area under each reading in the history section seems to be buggy. It often times out while I am still typing a comment or using speech to text. This is true when editing as well, dumping me out while I am still in the process of making changes. This can be quite maddenning when it happens three or four times in a row while entering a detailed comment. Also having no predictive text to work with is frustrating but mostly because I'm trying to finish my comment quickly before being dumped. Great app overall though. I'm still amazed at how my phone can measure my heart rate..Version: 2.9.8

AmazingThis app is amazing. It was very accurate for me. I measured it against my Panasonic device and is was very accurate within 1-2 beats!.Version: 2.4.3

ExcellentDid many tests compared to taking my pulse manually, and this app is pretty close to spot on every time. Need to read the instructions and use only light pressure over the camera though and keep finger still..Version: 2.5.3

Very accurateEasy to use and very accurate as well..Thanks.Version: 2.7

ExcellentWell worth getting....a great app. I like that it auto saves and has profiles for more than one person. Well thought out and implemented..Version: 2.4

When It Works...This app is fantastic when it works. I took my bpm using my fingers and a timer, and compared. It was within 2 beats, so I'm fairly certain that it does work, when it works. Unfortunately, I get errors more often then accurate readings. Ive only ever gotten a reading using the front camera on my iPod touch once. I can't get a reading from the rear camera without taking my case off(though it is a thick case, so that's understandable). I've only gotten one reading after 6 here in pa where it's kind of dark. During the day, it's easier, and that's still no guarantee. If you have a polar heart rate monitor, or something similar, I wouldn't replace it just yet. Although, I used the polar ones on high school, and my gym teacher made me rerun the mile because for more than a few minutes it said my heart rate was 0. Plus this app is cheap if you already use an iPod touch/ iPhone, it may be worth not buying another device..Version: 1.4

Very HandyI'm a patient just released from hospital after 61 days and am required to regularly monitor my heart rate and pressure - and quite surprisingly the readout from this app in iPhone 5S has been quite accurate (+/-5 bpm) compared to my medical devices!.Version: 2.6.2

Very useful appIt is so quick and easy to take my heart rate on my iPhone 5s. The first time I used it I discovered that my heart rate was alarmingly low. My doctor has reduced the dosage of my beta blocker by 75%. I now use Cardiograph several times a week..Version: 2.6.2

Nicely doneThe app works just fine, I don't know what everyone else is on about it not working. Test: if you sit in a quiet place and do it, you can feel your own pulse aswell, and as I felt my pulse in my finger, the app picked it up, I jogged in place for a minute and the app picked up the increased rate just fine. Doesn't work with the front camera, it only works with the rear camera with flash (even with all surrounding lights off). But don't substitute this for proper tests, it's accurate, but I wouldn't bet my life on it..Version: 2.4.3

Seems to be accurate. When compared to the pulse rate on an Omron blood pressure monitor they agree. The times it has not taken a reading has been my fault, e.g too much pressure on the screen or moving my finger about..Version: 2.5

Great App!Easy to use. Fast and accurate..Version: 2.6

AmazingIgnore the bad reviews. This really works. I was intrigued as to how, but apparently it uses the flash light on the iPhone (which you place your finger over, and over the lens itself). I understand that the light illuminates under your skin and into the tissue, and the camera detects the movement and rhythm of the pulse (my father sells medical equipment, amongst them ECG machines). So it's important not to press on the lens. If you just lightly rest the finger along both lens and light, it'll work fine. I tested myself 3 times with it, then counting my own pulse (it's easy to find in your neck) and it was only one beat out. Very impressed, and a beautifully constructed and useable app..Version: 1.5

Cardiograph ReviewLove this App it's easy to use & appears to be accurate. I Love what Technology allows us to do. :).Version: 2.4.3

Great app, it works well, the interface is well designed, the sound is pleasent. The icon may be improved..Version: 1.4

Quite accurateIn case anyone else was wondering... Just verified the results from this app with an actual blood pressure machine (with heart rate) running side-by-side, and this app was just as accurate as the machine! To use the app, place finger across cam and light and don't move! May help to grip your iDevice quite hard..Version: 2.4.3

Great AppWorks well for me. Can never get it to work for other people. Maybe I just know how to put finger on camera better..Version: 2.4.1

Love it.One of the coolest best, cleaver working apps with no adds! Great..Version: 1.5

No Joke - It is a Life SaverMessing around with this app my rate was average, another guys was in his 50's. One other was around 100, the person around 100 went to the doctor and was told her iron levels where below 6 and Vit D less than 10. Apparently the app save her from an Heart Attack!!!.Version: 2.4.3

Very impressive, used as a secondary check during a recent illness and liked seeing the history recoCheck during a recent illness and the history was a good progress marker for recovery time. Highly recommend!.Version: 2.0

Great appWorked ok for me on iPhone 4s don't press your finger too hard on the camera as it can give false readings gentle pressure is all that is required.Version: 1.4

Nice AppIt does what it says very effectively and when I checked my pulse the old fashioned way it was quite accurate..Version: 2.7

GreatApp is brilliant!.Version: 2.9.10

DEACON👍 good app to have on your phone.Version: 2.9.12

AmazingWorks great, light weight, easy to use. I suggest using your rear cam for better results in darker areas. No issues....Version: 2.9.7

Very useful!Very accurate, a handy tool that I can now have with me anywhere I go..Version: 2.6.2

Looks goodApp has a cool design like the thing there is in hospitals and gives a final heart beating after a while. I haven't confirmed the heartbeat with an actual heartbeat but I'll go to my local pharmacy and confirm soon. Overall great design, functionality. Thank you developer for your hard work and I hope to see much success from you..Version: 2.6.1

Great for managing my heart rateAfter being diagnosed with a heart condition this was a great app to keep an eye on my heart rate when I don't have my chest monitor available. Gives me a quick and correct snapshot of my heart rate when I need it. Highly recommend..Version: 2.4.1

Does what it saysOn an iPhone the brilliant combination of light + finger + camera = accurate pulse nicely displayed on tape and recorded in your personalized history..Version: 1.5

Really Great! This is such a cool app!! Have profiles for my whole family and it's fun to compare me normal and after exercise ;) the only thing I would say is that I think it only works for 5th gen devices as the camera lens is separate and there is a light which isn't on the gens before :( also it doesn't work on the front camera, but all in all a fab app!.Version: 2.4.3

Cool appEasy to use and appears to be very accurate. Highly recommended!.Version: 2.9.6

Really coolI thought it was a joke and fake but it seems to work. I feel my pulse and do notice the screen records it exactly!.Version: 2.6.1

IT REALLY WORKSI was sceptical when I downloaded this app but I though, why not?. I'm glad I did. Some how probable through the brightness detectors of the camera the phone does read your pulse. I experimented to test it by exceed using hard for 2 minutes and I then measured it and although there is a slight delay the phone recorded my BPM extremely accurately..Version: 2.6.1

ExcellentBeen using for a few years. Very accurate, consistent, reliable. Ties in with my doctor’s professional readings..Version: 2.9.10

Good appHaving been told that I have a very slow heart rate I downloaded this app to check - and it is spot on with the hospital figure. Great app, easy to use, accurate, free - what more can I say ?.Version: 2.3

A life saverWhat a beautiful way to hold a conversation with my heart! Thank you😻.Version: 2.9.12

Pretty simpleCool app; easy to use and understand.Version: 2.9.7

A very handy aidEasy to use and only as far away as your phone. Have checked it against conventional equipment and it is very accurate.Version: 1.5

Great way to keep an eye on the old ticketSeems accurate, easy to use and able to keep track of multiple profiles. A very clever app..Version: 2.4.3

Works well now I am keeping a record for doctor.Works well, keeping a record for my doctor..Version: 2.4.3

Pretty good!It seems pretty accurate on my iPhone 4, it's generally within about 5 bpm of my actual heart rate when I measure manually. Not bad for the price of a cheeseburger!.Version: 1.01

BestTotally enjoy using this.Version: 2.4.3

Fun appGives you a quick check of pulse..Version: 2.9.7

Very reliableAlways gives an accurate reading on iphone 5, and option to describe location/activity during reading is incredibly useful, would absolutely recommend!.Version: 2.4.3

GoodIt’s what I need!.Version: 2.9.12

Vital applicationThis app works wonders and I Is a vital tool to give you peace of mind if you are prescribed ADHD medication and get panic attacks about your heart rate, this stops the worry as soon as you see your normal Bpm . Worth every penny..Version: 2.4.1

Love it!!!!It is so easy to use!!!.Version: 2.9.7

Pretty goodThis app seems to work well. It does take a bit to get it to read on occasion but it is just about finger placement... Don't blame the app!.Version: 2.4.3

Brilliant appI have an irregular heart beat and this app allows me to capture it when it happens, then print it out and show it to my cardiologist. Works well and very useful..Version: 2.5

Pretty accurateChecked the results with other devices and manual checks and it is quite accurate. Handy for a quick check..Version: 2.4.3

Great! It works well, would like a little more detail about what the normal resting rate it for a fit persons and so on but the beeping does accurately read the heart rate. :).Version: 2.4.3

Surprisingly works!Works really well I have a metal valve in my heart that you can hear click and it does actually click in time with the reading on this app. I don't get why people moan about the light and glitches if you move your finger I mean from just a camera you can't expect it to be hospital standard..Version: 1.5

Good baselineConsistently records within a range, even had my wife , a nurse validate the numbers..Version: 2.9.8

Fantastic siteGreat site, would like a wider view to see what is coming up behind different fronts.Version: 1.4

Very helpfulThanks love this app.Version: 2.9.7

An excellent appAn easy to use and convenient way to check your pulse and recovery heart rate on the go.Version: 2.4.3

Love it!Works great! Definitely pretty accurate for phone app!.Version: 2.6.1

Does the businessAnd it's pretty too, some charts and additional options such as connecting a measurement to RHR or post workout, sick, etc might be cool, so to allow graphs to be context specific..Version: 2.1.1

Great little appGreat for a quick check , have used whilst exercise cycling as well as at home.Version: 2.6.2

AccurateAccurate enough for good personal record and reference...Version: 2.4.3

Great HR App!Beautiful interface and good results...have used a few of these and this one looks the best by far. Could you please do away with the fray background though and make the GUI take up the full screen for the iPhone5 display? Current interface makes it feel like not optimised for the new 4-inch display with the gray bars along the top and bottom. Cheers :).Version: 2.4.3

Excellent, accurate and accomodatingI have been working with 3 different cardiograph apps for many months and this one, the now called "classic" cardiograph wins hands down in many respects. Unlike the new version of this app, the classic is more robust and manages readings in less favorable lighting conditions. Compared with the others, I've never had a situation where a reading was not possible. The others a painfully fussy, unless the light is dazzeling, they won't cooperate or take a brief sample and call it a result. The Classic allows multiple accounts for different family members and allows a library of readings to be collected and recalled. The classic looks more like a functional piece of medical equipment, the new version is a stripped down, minimalistic version without the more detailed animations of The classic. I also find the classic is quite happy taking a reading from one's little finger, or any finger for that matter, the results all being the same. Currently I'm in my 16 month in hospital and can verify the accuracy against the equipment to which I am connected. The doctors and nurses are all most impressed with the app, some of whom have it as well. Overall, I prefer the responsivness, looks and feel of the classic and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for this sort of medical app. As far as the new cardiograph, despite an upgrade, it is infuriatingly fussy about lighting, finger position and movement. I do LOVE the tracing which is far superior to the choppy fake look of the classic. If the best of both designs were combined we'd have a winner I think. Being able to measure and store other family or friends readings is a must however. Final word - a good robust design, nice medical appearance of the controls, good functionality, nice feel but rather fake looking heart beat tracing (the QT interval is terrible) this app wins hands down. Overall, an excellent job. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not remove this version. Minor graphical improvements are needed but the basics are perfect. I say this from 6 months use in a hospital setting. Developers, please contact me if you wish for additional details. Being used alongside professional hospital equipment gives me a unique perspective of the apps in question and how they have worked in a clinical setting..Version: 2.9.6

Works Fine!I teach Anatomy & Physiology at UK University. I was sceptical when I downloaded this app, but to my surprise it works well on my iPhone4 running iOS 5.01. Lightly place your left index finger over the flash and camera, and feel your pulse at the left wrist with the first two fingers (NOT thumb) of your right hand. You will feel your pulse just before the app picks it up as the blood surge takes a moment to reach your finger. Works great! Would like to use this for teaching but some plonker would drop or nick my iPhone for sure!.Version: 1.4

Impressive appThis app is quite responsive to measuring my heart rate. I'm a student that is studying sports and we regularly need to take note of our h/r. This is really simple as it takes an almost accurate reading of my pulse from my finger that's over the camera. After a minuet it reads out your beats per minuet. A useful feature if this app is it can create a history log in which you can now add notes to and print out :) i have tried it with my friends and it works well with lights and a light touch on the camera lens..Version: 2.1.1

Great app. Responsive Developer.I think this is a brilliant use of the iPhone's camera and flash. I was surprised to find that Cardiograph is as accurate as my home heart rate monitor too. The developers are extremely fast in implementing our comments for improvements. After having two heart valve replacements and a by-pass, I feel it is not only smart -- but also necessary -- to have such a reliable heart rate monitor with me everywhere I go. It will obviously not replace my professional heart monitor at home... but it will supplement it. Cardiograph's accuracy rivals my professional heart monitor -- and since my iPhone is always with me, I can discretely check my heart rate anytime and anywhere. Because of it, I check my heart rate several times a day -- instead of several times a week..Version: 1.4

Good for a sampleNot super accurate but darn close! I compared it to my blood pressure machine and heart rate is real close.Version: 2.9.9

IncredibleIn the hospital with my old man, showed the doc this app. He couldn't believe how accurate it is. My dad has blood pressure issues so I made him and the rest of my family download it. Very impressed..Version: 2.4.3

Just great !⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Love this app so much!!!😆❤️❤️❤️.Version: 2.9.6

GreatWorks so easily. Very accurate. This app is a great way of keeping track of my heart rate over time. Works fine for me on an iPhone 5S with iOS 8.02.Version: 2.6.2

Does What it SaysGreat app easy to use and keeps a record for later..Version: 1.5

Works great!Very impressed by this app, amazingly accurate and easy to use..Version: 2.4.3

It works! Was skeptical but took it to my cardio rehab class at the hospital and used it at the same time with the hospital equipment. to my surprise it was spot on! I would recommend this app in non life threatening situations.Version: 2.4.3

AwesomeThis is excellent app to track your heart rate..Version: 2.9.7

I think Cardiograph is good.I think Cardiograph is a good one. It is useful. I think it is a good one on the Apple App Store..Version: 2.9.6

Assez surprenantFacile, fonctionne très bien, on peut sauvegarder nos résultats.Version: 2.6.1

Pretty goodNot sure what the others are complaining about as it works flawlessly and has great design...Version: 1.4

Cool App!Seems accurate, just have some trouble getting finger placement right. Not a fault with the app, just the placement of the camera with an iPhone mounted in a flip out case. Well done :D.Version: 2.4.3

INCREDIBLY AWESOME TOOL!I went to the ER with a racing heartbeat and showed them my history on the Cardiograph. The ER doctor couldn't believe how accurate it was! Word spread throughout the ER. The next day I went to a cardiovascular center for a stress echo and the tech said, "You must have been the patient in room 7! Everyone is talking about your phone app." Despite the pain in my jaw and neck I probably wouldn't have decided to go to the ER if I hadn't been testing during that uncomfortable 10 minutes and could see what was happening. Just four days later and I'm now scheduled for a heat cauterization. Thank you for this priceless, although not totally flawless app. I know you will continue to improve it. One feature the ER doctor mentioned he would have liked was to see the tape, to know how regular the heartbeat was. I discovered later that you can view the tape. The only thing is that now I have "broken" tapes and I can't delete them. I look forward to your next update!.Version: 2.1.1

CardiographGreat app....simple and easy to use. Just make sure that there is plenty of light around (day light is best) to avoid sensor issues..Version: 2.5.4

Surprisingly AccurateInitially i decided to download this app to see if it actually was accurate, using my the stopwatch on my clock app I took my own pulse and got the same results. Well done..Version: 2.4.3

Advice for user who says it does not workIt consistently tells me that my resting heart rate is 55-56. As I am very unfit and have done no exercise for 40 years, either the App doesnt work or I am going to live forever! Great graphics on this. Advice to the person who said that their iphone says "needs more light": Do make sure you are using the camera lens on the BACK of your iphone. It does not work if you try to use the lens on the front..Version: 1.5

Works!Seriously. This is so cool. It totally works and keeps a history of your heart rate so you can monitor patterns. Fact: Game of Thrones raises my heart rate and now I can prove it..Version: 2.6.1

The beat of lifeCardiographs - Heart rate monitor is a great App. As a heart patient I know the need to be aware of what your circulatory system is doing. The only thing missing here is a blood pleasure monitor. This App is not only fun but useful. Just get it!.Version: 2.3

Great App!Does what it claims to do accurately and easily! Love the fact that it saves your history and that you can keep track of different people on their own profiles..Version: 2.4

BrilliantMe and my hubby both have medical conditions we have to monitor and although this app is good to have fun with friends on the more serious side it's a great way of keeping check on our health as well..Version: 2.1.1

Simple; it works wellAnd, it's easy to use..Version: 2.9.6

Excellent appTakes a little getting used to but then fantastic..Version: 2.2

Works every timeI use it regularly and it works very well, both on my iPhone and iPad Pro 9.7. Very happy with it. If it doesn't work it's because I don't have my finger on it properly, and that doesn't happen very often..Version: 2.7

Great appPretty accurate - worthwhile knowing how the old tickers going.Version: 2.4.3

Great innovationOne of the first apps I ever purchased and a wonderful example of out-of-the-box thinking and innovation..Version: 2.7

SAVING PI HAD A HEART ATACK IN JAN THIS HELPED ME HUGELY..Version: 2.9.6

Cracker App!Love this app! I find its quite accurate and easy to use for the gym or out door exercise!.Version: 2.4.3

Excellent!!For all those who say it doesn't work; adjust your finger so that the tip is slightly on the camera NOT the 'finger print' area, and don't press too hard either. I kept getting errors too but now it works first time, every time. Another great FREE app - I can't wait use it during my workout session. 😊.Version: 1.5

It actually worksNever in a million years thought this would come close to being right, but I've been proved very wrong. Great little app..Version: 1.4

CardiographWorks great, love it..Version: 2.4.3

Install this one!I have a heart problem and this app is awesome in helping me monitor myself. Recommend it!.Version: 2.4.1

Mr.Excellent programme. However, could be improved if would record an irregular heart rate for a medical indication of problems..Version: 2.5.1

SuperIt works!!!.Version: 2.9.12

Pretty CoolThe app works greatly!.Version: 2.6.1

Works after some practiceCleverly measures heart rate using a finger- tricky at first to get the right position and pressure. I can't get it to work when I'm sweaty from exercising and heart rate is over 130.Version: 2.5.1

Great!Great app works perfect with the iPhone 5! Tested it three times in a row to see for accuracy and each one was pretty much identical with only 1 or 2 beats difference! Would recommend it as it is very interesting to see what your heart is up too! :).Version: 2.4.3

AccurateAccurate readings.Version: 2.9.6

Nice jamGreat app. We all enjoy this one. Good one..Version: 1.5

Darn useful ...... And easy to use, which I do, daily. Now I know my resting pulse and how long it takes after gym to drop to non- resting norm.Version: 2.4.3

This app is NOT a gimmickIt works very accurately and what I really like is that you can record multiple people and keep the history of multiple people. Well done..Version: 2.4.3

Good appQuite good and accurate, sometimes does not read pulse and you have to move finger, I found it best to let phone rest gently on fingertip rather than pressing finger on. Handy that it stores your previous readings too..Version: 2.2

What a great app.It took a while to work out that my finger only needs to lightly touch the camera sensor to get a reading. It does exactly what it says on the tin..Version: 2.4.1

Doctor loved itBegan with A fib and now irregular heart rhythm. The doctor was impressed when I showed him a couple days of history. I think it’s going to be a great tool in my recovery..Version: 2.9.8

Does what it’s supposed to doIt’s not going to diagnose a heart problem, but if you want to check your heart rate...that it’ll do.Version: 2.9.11

Awesome! It has been a while since I have been amazed by an iPhone app! This app is right on the pulse (sorry)..Version: 2.4.3

HandyIt's not the worlds most technical app and doesn't have a whole lot of extras, but it's handy and unpretentious..Version: 1.5

Well done appI just wish it had an export to excel or some feature that would allow you to do that. Other than that, it does what it supposed to do..Version: 2.9.6

GreatGreat.Version: 2.6.1

ECG.The best way to check your heart rate after a massive work out..Version: 2.4.3

AmazingWhat a cool app. Rather than having to strap on my heart rate monitor, I can now get quick and easy read of my resting heart rate. Also easy to use when out and about. Fantastic! My 7 year old son loves this app too! Great science lesson!!.Version: 1.5

CardiographsNever had a problem has worked fine every time. Obviously it's not a professional bit of kit but a good guide..Version: 1.5

ReviewIt's OK by me.Version: 2.9.8

👍🏻Simple and yet accurate app Thank you.Version: 2.9.12

DavidWhat a clever little app. It works really well and seems to be very accurate. Takes a bit of practice getting finger position correct. But very impressive..Version: 2.1.1

Great app! This app works so well !, even the sounds make it seem real !, great app to have handy..Version: 1.4

Best appI really like this I was about to buy one from the chemist but this is perfect thanks heaps guys.Version: 2.4.3

Useful ToolUsed periodically to know if heart is racing. Have compared while in doctor’s office & it is pretty darn accurate. Can sometimes be a little tricky to get the hang of, but it continues to improve. Have recommended many times & will continue to do so..Version: 2.9.7

This tells me more than I counted on!At first cardiograph didn't work for me. But I discovered that failure to work indicates those times I am in atrial fibrillation. I have another way to verify this, so I am pretty sure. I don't think your app likes an irregular heart beat. I'm finding this very useful. I can certainly understand why you could never indicate A Fib, or any other irregular heart beat with this app. Likewise, I don't think any failure necessarily indicates an irregular heartbeat for anyone. But I do know that I pop in and out of A Fib quite often, and so far, this app has been right on the money, once I figured out what was happening. So thanks, I really like this. A little note to anyone reading this: If your app is showing a failure, don't get excited. You're probably doing it wrong. This app has worked properly every time I'm NOT in A Fib..Version: 1.5

Very Impressive! (Pulse, NOT EKG!)As a medical first responder, I can definitely confirm that this app can accurately find your pulse. I am using an iPhone 4S so it's possible that the results will not be as good on older generation phones, due to the camera quality. That being said, this app loses one star (I should take off more) for completely misleading everybody into thinking this is a cardiograph. All this does is find your pulse. The display on screen is entirely false ... But since I was so impressed that i consistently and accurately found my pulse, I'll leave it as a good review..Version: 1.4

WinnerEasy to use.Version: 2.9.7

AmazingIt works brilliantly, if you don't think it works measure before and after going for a jog, worked fine for me..Version: 2.4.3

AwesomeIn reference to DENISL78 review. You need to learn how to read before using the app. You state that the app says it is too dark when you place your finger in front of the lens and imply that it's a miscue and that it doesn't make sense because It Obviously gets dark with a finger in front of the camera. Read the Instructions clearly and fully before you make such an idiotic remark!!!! The app and technology was designed for use with a camera with a flash or if your device has no flash go to a WELL LIT area before placing finger. The app is referring to the camera not being in a bright enough area when it states “too dark" and not that of your finger in front of the camera blocking the light. I think this app is AWESOME but that is because I know how to read before use..Version: 2.4.3

Pulse monitoringVery easy and accurate measurements of pulse!!!.Version: 2.9.9

FantasticVery helpful, love it..Version: 2.9.6
