✓ Nice app but...I'm a iPhone camera junkie and have probably 35-40 camera apps. I rate this one right near the top. It does most things in a nice and easy to use way. One exception: If I tap the finished photo icon in the lower left, I would like to go directly to the photo instead of a folder containing that photo. AND it needs work on the HDR. I gave it the keyboard test, e.g. an HDR photo of my Apple keyboard. Most of the apps with HDR have no trouble merging to show sharp single images of each key. Not so with this app. Double image on several tries handheld (but I do all of this test handheld). Four stars now; five when HDR improves..Version: 2.0

✓ A must for telephoto lensI just got the zoom lens attachment for the 4s and this is by far the best app for it. I tried camera+, sharp camera, hd camera and a few others but none came close to this. The focus with this app makes using the attachment easy compared to others. I even did some in focus shots without the tripod! Plus the video zoom is awesome. Turn off HDR and video zoom auto render and this app is very fast. With HDR and video zoom render on you may miss an important shot... That's why you turn it off. With the zoom lens attachment and this app I can know get true bokeh effect without post!!.Version: 4.2

Ability to adjust and apply changes before shooting is what real pros do. Don't really care for after effects, I want a good REAL photo to start with. I love the manual HDR mode and the slow shutter options! Some nice things to see in the future: -Hue adjustments (more continuous and subtle than color effects) -Visible histogram either while taking pictures or in the editor -Some way to get rid of the 'purple' color I see when using slow shutter on sum (eg hue). -perhaps multiple layering options in the editor. - Not sure if possible but it would be awesome to take a high frame rate video >60fps. 😝 Everything is great so far though and I highly recommend this app to any and all who enjoy a more in depth camera experience! I do a lot of macro photography and so the voice-controlled shutter release was so on the money for me. It helps me take away any user created camera shake altogether. In addition your app focuses faster and better than built-in camera and Camera+ by a very wide margin. Again have found no other app able to do that and I have tried a lot of them and compared against Top Camera. Some other reasons why I love Top Camera are: 1. Within the settings you can easily select video or camera, stabilizer, timer, burst, HDR and/or slow shutter. This alone replaces at least four other apps. The camera has a level built in for keeping your horizons straight, and a grid for helping you to compose your images; yet if those features bother you, you can easily turn them off in the main settings. This camera gives you control over exposure, focus, white balance, color temperature, saturation, contrast and brightness. This doesn't even cover all the app can do when you go into editing! The photo editor allows you to make adjustments, add effects and borders....but I won't bore you with the details...go buy it yourself; you won't regret it! Phone camera's are great for taking snaps and there is nothing wrong in that but this is an app that will let you take pictures that you will want to print off and frame. ✓ My number one photo app!I must have tried most, if not all photo apps for iPhone over the last year, incl. the most famous ones. And for a while I thought I found an absolute champion in this field, that is until Top Camera came along. You have one guess to find out who is my photo champion now! :-) This is one very, very slick application. First of all it has a gorgeous GUI, not only looking very slick, but also well thought out and easy to use. All controls are well thought out and position jut in the right places. They really make the controls almost transparent, as they should be. But what really counts is the engine under the hood. Don't be fooled by beautiful interface or ease of use. Under the hood it is a real pro camera software. It has all the features the best of the other ones have, and then some. So far my favourites are HDR (so much better than the lame Apple implementation), Stabilizer and Slow Shutter. Add to that an ingenious frame levelling tool (virtual horizon), separate focus and white balance selectors, and a galore of setting options and you start to realize that this one photographic powerhouse. The app comes also with a built in photo album, with nice features like configurable folders, a complete EXIFF support, incl. location display with Google maps, a robust and quite complete set of editing tools, as well as a nice set of sharing possibilities, incl. Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and Dropbox (in addition to mail, clipboard and saving to iPhone's camera roll). It is really hard to find any fault in this app. It is so robust, easy to use, great looking that I hardly ever use any other of the camera apps I still have installed. BTW, there was a problem with uploading photos to Dropbox in this new version 1.1. This has now been resolved and is fully functional in this version..Version: 1.1

The camera has excellent features that provide tailoring to the photographic experience the edit to his excellent. As mentioned, menu items have excellent contrast manner extremely easy to see why the person with low vision. The Apple applications have abandoned people with low vision. ✓ My Favourite Camera AppGenuinely quick, easy and friendly to use, it offers all the features I want in a simple interface. I have a dozen other camera apps, but this is the one that I keep in the dock and use the most. Favourites features: . Slow shutter is great for fireworks, sparklers, auto taillights and just plain messing around . HDR is quick and efficient . Complete, quick and easy control over settings like contrast and saturation really speeds up workflow… no post editing required . the level indicator, which is indispensable I haven't learned to use the folders organization yet, because I like to have my images accessible to other apps, so I primarily keep them in Photos. But the built in library is great as a "contact sheet" to decide what to keep and what to trash. Ultimate wish list? Would love to see features like . optional display of sensor info (compass heading, inclinometer, lat/lon) ala Theodolite Pro . intervalometer, for time lapse photos (a great UI would incorporate burst, timer and time lapse in one function) . auto stitching for panoramas . focus stacking (same image with multiple focal points or multiple DoF planes or extreme DoF) . resolution stacking (combining multiple images to obtain higher resolution) . anti-keystoning, perspective correction for architectural shots . box.net integration.Version: 3.5
