✓ Sorry you lost me as a customerI own an apartment rental and used Kashoo on my iPad mini since Jan 2014. Love the convenience of recording anytime while on the go. Knowing that your records are backed up online helps you feel secure. I can also sync and use from my other iPad. It's simple and not complicated. Producing financial statements are easy for tax purposes. Update: I am ditching this app. My subscription tripled in price, from $99 to $324 and I wasn’t advise of renewal, my card was just charged. No answer on calls. I will switch to another accounting app..Version: 4.22
✓ HorrificI’m not sure who is feasibly writing good reviews about this. Kashoo has drastically increased their price, but completely removed functionality from this app. The old app was glitchy and definitely had issues. I was excited to see a new app was being released. But instead of improving the existing the app, they’ve released a new app with half the functions of the old one. It takes twice as long to make an invoice and you can’t access half as many features. This is an embarrassment. I’m doing everything I can to cancel the remainder of my yearly subscription, that I just paid, and get money back for the unused portion. Quickbooks lowered their price and added features to their app. What the heck is Kashoo thinking?.Version: 5.0.1
✓ LOVE-d IT!!!I couldn’t imagine running my business without Kashoo! But now I’m going to. I just received notification that the service will be going from a $50/yearly invoicing to a $200/yearly invoicing. Of course they’ll be adding new snazzy features. But since I run a very tiny business, I don’t need anything else but the basics. And since $200 makes a significant impact on my families’ income, I’m looking elsewhere for a financial organization method. However, it may just come down to an excel situation (a $50 discount!) and a little more time invested in my quarterly and yearly reports. Could Kashoo perhaps make a “small-er business” option?? Where it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles but the basics are still available (invoicing, expense tracking, P&L reports and the like) where it would cost a lower amount. Doesn’t even have to be $50. Could be more like $75. I get prices rise...but $200??!! Just a thought. I am sad to be leaving Kashoo as I have loved using your very user friendly program! But the cost just outweighs the needs..Version: 4.17
✓ Redesign of app removes best features1. You cannot search for a supplier, you can only scroll. 2. When creating a expense the old version used to keep the options we usually used, ie. payment method, account, category etc. Now you must enter it in every time. 3. Can no longer Search for past expenses for a specific supplier 4. Can’t add directly a expense if I have a pdf and click share outside of the app. We used to do this all the time with the old app. My recommendation is if you haven’t updated, avoid. ✓ Frustrated long time customerWe loved this app, how it worked on our phones and tablets and it all worked together seamlessly. And ya ya the price went up a while ago but I don’t mind paying for a good and working product. That’s in the past. Possibly after iOS 14, the mobile app absolutely won’t sync. Entered invoices in the app, then they are marked as unpaid. The app will not accept input. It will not sync, it will just crash every single time I try and sync or enter an invoice. Only way around this is to enter invoices online using the web browser side of things, delete the mobile app and then re-download everything onto my phone or iPad. Seriously?? Did something happen to your server or your cloud hosting service?.Version: 4.22

✓ New app is hot garbageOld app was fantastic. Every feature you could need and worked great. The new one is an absolute tire fire. The desktop site still works great but without proper mobile app this just isn’t a competitive product. It’s a bummer the old one was great. ✓ Nothing worked!I don't know where all these great reviews are coming from. Some of them sound like advertising copy. I downloaded the free app which did very little unless I signed up for "premium". So I signed up for "premium" and then tried to load my bank info and found out that I had to do that on their website. So, I log on to their website and it and it pulls up my account and asks me if I want to go "premium". Are you serious? So now I cant download my bank information because their website does not see me as a premium user even though they just took my $9.99. And this was after I pushed a fancy syncing button on the app. This was enough for me. Threw the app right out. The first 3 things I try to accomplish with this service are a complete disaster and I'm suppose to trust them with my finances? Also, in my settings I entered my nationality as USA but I kept getting options that apply to Canadian banking with no option to fix. Absolutely, worse app I ever downloaded! ✓ Current databases NOT supported!!!For some reason, database 2.0, which is the database that you were create as a new customer, or not supported. They do not tell you this. ✓ This is a mess.... difficult user interface, no inventory,I just sent an 'invoice' to my self to see what it would look like, and it has CRASHED my iPad Mail! I have NEVER seen that before! When I went to open the pdf, my 'mail app' has frozen. If it's there I don't see it 'a way to PRINT from your device! All I see is the ability to 'email' it! IF this program is good, then I quit! ✓ RipoffUsed it for about 4 years at $49 per year. They just billed us $200 for the next year. No advance notice and changing mid month mid year. A pretty low approach and a bit of a sneaky maneuver. Customer service has gone downhill continuously over this time. The program has a number of bugs and you have to spend a lot of time figuring out workarounds. Their credit card processing sometimes works sometimes not. Bank data import works on a spotty basis. Dropping this like a hot potato..Version: 4.17.2

✓ App doesnt workThe app is non-functional. No multi currency support. I've used Kashoo for 3 years on web only, and love the software. That's why I pay $150/yr for it. But the app won't let me log in due to the multi currency issue. I have possibly 1 or 2 transactions in us currency in three years and I even turned off multi currency in my account settings. ✓ Good app...But for one nagging issue. Periodically, the app logs me out. I'm ok with that and appreciate the security. However, rather than letting me log back in, the app displays a warning MSG that I've been logged out, then freezes. So, I close it down and restart it. Then it crashes. I have to start it again before I can log back in. It's not a deal breaker for me, but it is an issue that needs attention ASAP..Version: 1.3.1
✓ Screw Kashoo!!!!!Downloaded when it was free. Worked fine. Stayed with it when they charged $5 / mo. Now they TRIPLED THE PRICE. What no tiers? Not reasonable for a small business like mine. I feel suckered. Now they have years of my books and I gotta walk away. I bet they were banking on holding ppl hostage over years of records. ✓ Not a fan of the updateNot at all a fan of the update. There are many things that are lacking, but especially the ability to duplicate an old invoice and find a client. I have many invoices that are identical each month, in the old version I was able to duplicate and send super quickly, now I need to recreate each invoice from scratch. Finding clients in the list to invoice is also extremely cumbersome with no search function and it appears the list isn’t even alphabetized?! Takes me forever to find clients to select from the list, especially when their name and business is on their client profile, but while I used to search their business, now their name appears on the list instead. The minimalism seems cheap to me, I liked being able to do everything I could from the desktop version on my phone. I truly hope there is a fix to these problems soon..Version: 5.0.1
✓ Lots of potentialIt's a shame really because I want to rate this app 5* but I can't. It's not a full accounting app. The app is great if you live in a perfect world however we don't. If the system is continually pushed forward I might well come back to Kashoo. The website and app (for me) has a good syncing. I have to say the app has a really good layout and is simple to use and navigate. The website is clean looking and fresh. It's such a shame it doesn't do what I want it too. Keep going with it though as I will eagerly await the update notification on my iPad :).Version: 1.1.1

But if I want to get to my accounts from my phone and or my computer it's never updated and I can't seem to keep it updated or get it updated at all. Every time I try and update it says we cannot connect to the server at this time please try again later. And it never works later either. ✓ Could Be BetterI've been using this app (and the corresponding web based version) for over 2 months, maybe more and, although I've managed to get around, I do not find it intuitive, or its layout logical. After a while you start to understand hw it works but I have the feeling there are many more features I could use but they're hidden from view. The login bit is extremely frustrating - it simply does not recognise my password and someimes I have to reset it, which is an annoyance. I had to set my Kashoo pwrd to be the same as my gmail password to work, and this doesn't guarantee success. Why does one have to use the google or yahoo option anyway?? ✓ New iOS App is uselessThe old app used to let use Share Sheet to upload receipts into KASHOO. That has been removed. Banking ledgers have been removed, no account balances are accessible. Non adequate reporting. When entering Income in app it shows your suppliers along with your customers. Overall a mess. To simplify their development key features were removed. ✓ Not working properly...Great app to summarise all earnings and expenditures. £40 for subscription seems a little steep but still a very handy app! <<< this was my original review, however I keep getting a message saying there's a 'problem submitting attachments to the server' I uninstalled the app and re-loaded it and lost most of my inputs!! ✓ Good but expensive for multi businessI've spent hours trawling through value for money book keeping program's and kept coming back to this. I really liked this app, just too expensive for running multi businesses, it's a shame but I've gone over to Easy Books, not as nice but cheaper and unlimited businesses.
