✓ Not enough servers & slowNetshade has lost its use for me, despite a fully paid annual subscription for they proxy server: The country list has shrunk to a drizzle. Germany is suddenly gone, which was my main reason for using Netshade. Eecent slowness was also noted and useless for streaming. Pretty lame over all..Version: 3.0
✓ Big Changes !!!I just got an e-mail from them. "After 2015-09-29 you will no longer be able to connect to the NetShade Proxy servers. You will still be able to access the public proxies via the NetShade application”. Why and what good are the public proxies? Why the change? Not happy. I loved it before this change..Version: 3.0

✓ Very bad Customer serviceBeen a customer for 4 years and this year will be the last! I have never ever gotten a reply or a response from their technical support! Right now it’s not working on one of my phones saying that a certificate expired! I tried troubleshooting it but no luck! ✓ Works well but sometimes servers are unavailableI got this app mainly to get access to servers in the UK, Germany, France and Canada. UK servers become unavailable at least once a week and it is inconvenient when they are unavailable. Other than that the app works well. If the UK servers were always available I would consider giving it a 5 star review..Version: 8.5.1

✓ Stability problems in new versionI’m having problems with version 8 in iOS maintaining connections compared with previous versions. VPN connections (at least to uk servers) are dropping every 20-30 minutes, and a manual reconnection is needed. Very disruptive for streaming server use..Version: 8.3

✓ Pretty poorThis app hasn’t been updated for 3 years! That says to the world that the company that makes this no longer has any interest in it. Not only does this app lose the VPN connection every time you switch the display off for more than 2 minutes, leaving your IP address exposed when you next use the device - which easily goes unspotted - but now there’s only one UK server left, and I can’t access that via the iOS app! Absolutely the worst of all VPNs I’ve had a go on, certainly wouldn’t pay their full rate for it. Thankfully a software bundle got this user a 2-year subscription very cheap, but with the obvious neglect going on re app and servers I doubt whether NetShade will exist in 6 months, let alone 2 years. ✓ Extremely Limited Server ChoicesI could be wrong about this and I hope that I am corrected. Rayner Software’s NetShade app seems to have an extremely limited list of servers to choose from. Only one has IPv6. Oftentimes some servers listed won’t even connect. I have used them for some time but I’m not sure I will renew my yearly subscription again. The app works but as I said, the server choices are extremely slim pickins. Does anyone have a clarification regarding this?.Version: 8.4
