✓ Pros and consI don't usually take the time to rate apps but here we go: Pros- ---The app does what I need it to do. I have it recording me coughing at night to watch for an acute illness progressing. It does the job. ---I can set it start recording after a certain time instead of picking up me shuffling around trying to fall asleep. ---It tells me how many recordings it picked up after the session is over. Cons- ---With the new update/redesign, you can't read the print in the box due to the dark blue background. Surprising they let that slip through. ---I wish I could delete a recording WITHIN a night's recording. ---It should be secondary to any other apps (like my alarms). I haven't noticed it that's an issue but I saw other comments about it..Version: 6.0
✓ Some set backs without premium but otherwise goodIt's annoying that they've chosen to change the free version so you cannot even record for long than 5 hours at a time, also randomly comes up with a notice reading "this feature is unavailable without premium option". ✓ You will try itIt's okay. It records during the night but it only records for so long. It need to record until I turn it off but it sadly is not designed to do that. I do like the part that I get to listen to so many seconds of a noise. That allows me to go back, it's easier than trying to find it after a few seconds have gone by. Also you can't close out of it. ✓ Sarcasm...Whilst it's brilliant hearing 169, separate 2-5 second recordings of yourself or partner snoring or moving in anticipation of hearing some aimless sentences, the truth is, I can think of better things to spend 10 minutes doing involving a toilet and a newspaper. Weak at best. Not once did it capture talking even set on high sensitivity and I distinctly remember asking my partner if she was awake in the night. ✓ Audio very lowOkay, so I'm using a Mini IPad4, and have noticed that the audio is very very quiet, even when talking directly into the mic. I have a stereo mic, MV88, and while it will not record in stereo, the volume of the audio input at least is a bit better. That would mean however, that I have to keep my Mini IPad unplugged all night so as to plug in the mic. Please, fix the audio issues? Thanks..Version: 7.0

✓ Doesn't record anymoreAll of a sudden this app no longer works on my ipad. I have been trying for weeks, so deleted the app and reinstalled, but still no recording. I know I've been using right grenadier I've used it for so long. Behind disappointed! 2014 - Note to the development team, could you please add a function that would start to record at the same time every night so we don't have to set it every time at all? Would love it even more then. Thanks! I was snoring very badly and making bedtime a very stressful time for us both. After using this for a few weeks it became obvious very quickly that I was in trouble at night. My breathing was stopping and starting which meant a visit to the specialist. I ended up having an op to rectify something that was wrong in my nose. I was also exhausted because of trying to breathe normally every night. I'm so glad I had the paid version, it literally improved my health, by giving me the tools to backup my issue when seeing the specialist. Would highly recommend it to anyone who even has a suspicion of not breathing right at night..Version: 7.0

✓ Not badWorks ok. Needs a visual way of scanning the recording so you can get to the bits of interest quickly, rather than listen to 6 hours of it. When you scan, it goes silent and the graphic stops, so you have no way of knowing if you've missed something. 6 hours of recording used about 25% of my iPod 4's battery life, which is acceptable. ✓ Very basicI have tried this app on 3 nights now. What I notice is 1. The layout is simple and pretty easy to figure out 2. The recordings seem to be accurate 3. The playback feature, whilst simple is tedious when there are over 200 recordings through the night of less than 6 seconds. (This may mean that I should turn the sensitivity down). 4. I can’t seem to save the file to one drive, it only recognises Dropbox which is annoying. 5.You can send the files to yourself via email but as far as I can work out it seems as though you can only send each 5-7 second recording. 6. ✓ Way too SensitiveThe sensitivity on this app is WAY too high. Even on the lowest sensitivity setting, it records about 500 clips per night of nothing. Just silence. I never get to listen to all of my recordings because each clip is over 40 seconds of almost nothing. ✓ Changing sensitivity is hardChanging the sensitivity is hard as only a white box appears. There’s no scale to select different levels. Eventually managed by randomly tapping lots in the white box in different areas. I suggest leaving on medium and not trying to change it.Version: 8.4.1

✓ Useless without Pro version/ no longer worksInitially, this app was fine to use for free - but a little while ago the allotted five hours of recording time was reduced to two hours, making it virtually useless. I caved and bought the Pro version for £2.99, and now it doesn’t work at all. It crashes at random and when I turn my screen off, it automatically exits the app. The only way to make it record is to literally leave the screen switched on and the app open/running all night, which overheats the phone and runs the risk of the app giving in and crashing anyway. Not worth it. I’m annoyed because this used to work fine, and it’s only recently that I’ve started experiencing these issues with it..Version: 7.0
