✓ Seeking RefundI paid the $1.39 to “Have the ads removed”. Still got ads after every level. I want my money back..Version: 1.3.5
✓ Only one little flaw.I'm fed up with leaving the game after achieving a high level and when I come back to it, it takes me back a good 10 levels that I have to then re do. What's the point in doing the same levels over again?! It is a good game though. 3 stars..Version: 1.0.1
✓ Railroad MazeThis game has everything needed for a puzzle (5 stars). However what let's it down is the slow response between moving a piece and the game recognising it had been moved. Also the app crashes when it starts sometimes and also during game play (3 stars)..Version: 1.0.2
✓ Cool and terribleInitially I loved this, the labyrinth levels are fun and challenging but when you progress to the build a road levels I found these so frustrating and clunky I almost removed the game from mu iPhone. You position your pieces, I have large fingers so first you can't see where your placing them, secondly the majority of the time the piece then jumps to another square and you die. This part of the game simply doesn't work on an iPhone unless you have tiny fingers. Playing this is also like watching tv, ads here and everywhere the you have to close every level in order to see the screen. Overall partially fun but mainly disappointing..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Should I pay for it?This game is actually kinda fun. My only problem is how aggressive the ads are. I understand the developers need to get paid and there in an advertisement paradigm so insane that it seems whatever service, game, etc, we are consuming takes a hit in quality and becomes nothing more than an placeholder for ads - demanding, insisting attention. I want to pay for this game. However, I fear that if I give my money, the ads will NOT disappear; as is the experience of a bunch reviewers. I really don’t want to give my money away in vain but if I do, I guess the only thing I can do is report to Apple and warn others. 2 stars because I’m not sure if I’m about to get screwed over by buying this game; as I said before, the vendors are EXTREMELY aggressive with the — sometimes, less than palatable, un-wholesome — third-party ads they allow. (Think of the children man!). If I have a good experience, I’ll give it a good review..Version: 1.5.6
✓ Don’t botherIt’s a fun game but it will be a money pit buying tickets or constantly watching ads to earn extra tickets, 2 at a time. You only get a couple to start with and every new level requires a ticket whether you win right off or have to repeat it so you basically play two levels in a row or repeat one level twice and then you’re done until the tickets regenerate in about 20 minutes, watch a video for two more or buy more. It becomes frustrating when you’ve just figured out the solution but are out of tickets and must pick a choice to get more. When other people have commented on this, the developer just says you can watch videos or spend real money to buy more, somewhat manipulative. Eventually you will get “nickel and dimed“to death or waste a lot of time watching ads and not playing the game because some of the levels may take few tries while some are easier. I liked playing but I think there are other similar games to try that are less time consuming to play, more game playing, less ads..Version: 1.4.8

✓ AdsTrying to find a decent train app for the wee man, Installed this in my unending search. And the search continues. You have to rotate pieces to make a track which gets from A to B. Simple enough. But you need “tickets” to do it. You get some free to try. At the end of every maze, you get a full page ad. Once you use the handful of free tickets, you get to buy more. With real cash. Or you can watch a 22 second video ad. No idea how many tickets you get as I exited the game. Whilst it’s understood developers want a cash income from the game either from micro-purchases or advertising, there comes a point where it is excessive, and this game reach that far too quickly. Even the wee man who loves trains just looked at me and said “Skip ads please, daddy” If I could rate this 0, I would so going forward, Apples 1 star is the new zero.Version: 1.4.7

✓ Very PoorI have tried this app again after an update to fix startup bug & once again it still doesn't start. Just get a splash screen for 10 seconds or so & then it ctashes out. Not very impressed, especially as the fault is supposed to have been fixed at least twice that I know of. Perhaps a future update will fix this app but I won't hold my breath. ✓ Addictive gameplay, but needs a few tweaks/updatesOverall a fun puzzle game, but a few things need fixed, i.e. There needs to be a level select option. If I'm 30 puzzles in & want to go back & replay level 23, I can't without starting a whole new game & making my way through to level 23. This means its a huge hassle to try to beat my high scores from previous levels. It's still fun, but there is almost no replayability until this is fixed. Also it's just a little laggy in terms of graphics, so this also needs fixed. & it crashed on me & wouldn't load the first time i tried to play it. ✓ 4 for gameplay... 1 for the naggingApparently the developer thinks that this is a great vehicle for nagging about micro transactions. Just playing through the first few levels, it interrupts you three times with a nag screen suggesting that you should buy more levels or buy unlimited “tickets“ without explaining why this is desirable. There are numerous vibrating logos asking you to buy removing the ads -getting in the way of actually playing. And then, when you reach the level that has the first “pirate train“ you aren’t able to play because in order to actually play the level you need “tickets” which I suppose means that the program has not shown me enough ads yet or I have not agreed to give the developer money in a micro transaction. ✓ Nice update, but REALLY intrusive addsI liked Doodletrain, and I like this revamping of it a lot. It looks good and the game play is great, but the constant garage of ads is very intrusive. You get an add on the start of every level that covers a significant portion of the play area, and then you get a full screen ad whenever you fail to complete a level. Often, you accidentally hit this full screen ad because you are still trying to interact with the game, so you are whisked off to the App Store. After this happens for the 15th or 20th time, you just stop playing the game. I'd spend the $1 for ad-free, but I refuse to reward this type of aggressive advertising..Version: 1.0.1

✓ Needs real solutions.A well designed game. Maze levels are pretty good on the whole. The railroad building levels provide random pieces of track so there are no real solutions to them, that's not technically a puzzle more of a "fudge it" experience. ✓ Strong in some areas...The rail builder is where it really fails. The ads half the time block the train. Plus the rotation of tracks is really annoying to use and wastes time. The labyrinth tracks are really good, aside from the negatives, although the ads are somewhat obtrusive and hard to close. They also block an important part of the level which is rather annoying. It’s ridiculous how the dev’s just ruined an amazing game experience with this “feature”, even reading their “reasoning” isn’t even worth your time on other reviews since they know it’s an awful “feature” but, not a care in the world and they try to “justify” every reasoning they can too.
