✓ DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!!!Honestly such a ridiculous app. Like aside from the annoying ads that pop up every 5 minutes and the glitchy times on the videos that you choose to store on it, I thought that the app was okay. That was until I went to add to the app later on and it said that my 10 day trial has ended. The app never even mentioned anything about a 10 day trial so I tried to save my photos and videos so that I could remove the app but you can’t even take back what’s yours without paying. I literally had to screenshot and screen record my stuff just to get it back. Such a scam. STAY CLEAR. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. FIND ANOTHER APP TO USE. I normally never write reviews about apps either so that’s how you know that this app is a total lost cause..Version: 7.8
✓ DecentAnnoying to upload selected photos and instead makes you import the entire file even though it gives you the option to select, it doesn’t work. Ads every time you click on something. It works but is not great. Also if you double click home button to show all apps in background it will show any pic or video that is open in the app, which is not common with these types of apps. ✓ Pretty good for what it isFor a file vault app it does its job. At first it can be a bit daunting figuring out which buttons do what, but after a little playing around it’s not too difficult. So every time I drill down into a file I have to keep scrolling down (to what feels like forever) to find the data I'm looking for. Please include a search option for those who create several files WITHIN a folder. Also, the page breaks are out of control after editing/saving. Whenever you create a new line of information it gets spaced as if you inserted a page break after you edit/save. No good. Them give you 20 days trial and constantly showing you adds to make impression that this is cost for free use. Within 20 days you will move files into the app and delete from other places (otherwise you don’t need secret vault to keep files in save place). On 21 day option to export files will be unavailable (as well as other options too, this will make app unusable, you will be able to watch ads and content that was imported before) and if you decide not to use app anymore than you will need to sacrifice all files in the app. This up is made for robbing people..Version: 8.2.9

✓ On the way to 5 starsThis is a great app, but has three major bugs remaining as of 1/1/18: 1. In the list view of a folder, the icons are not on the left margin, they are under the file names, making the names hard to read and the icons hard to see. 2. The volume slider does not work. Volume can only be changed via the iPad volume buttons. When the buttons are used the screen slider will jump to and follow the actual volume. 3. Sometimes the app closes, but leaves the last image up when the programs in memory view is done (double tap of the home button). The last screen view should always be gone. (Or preferably, see wish list item #2.) Wish list: 1. Bring back the calculator front end as an option; it was actually useful! 2. When closed, the app should completely leave memory, i.e., a double tap of the home button should not show the app dormant in memory. 3. Add a “Play all” button to allow all videos or audio files to play sequentially or randomly. Keep up the great work!.Version: 6.2

✓ No GIFs and no hidden cloudOverall decent app, but comes up short and needs some work. At first, I really liked it. I like that I can categorize and sort my files by different criteria, and I love that I can back up my files on the cloud (this was the biggest issue with the previous app I used, since I lost a ton of stuff when my phone was stolen). However, I set up a “decoy password” so that someone could log in and only see what is in that vault, but the items in cloud storage on the main vault still appear in that vault, which defeats the purpose for hiding them in the first place. Also, GIF files do not show an animated preview, only a still shot of the beginning of the GIF. The cloud not remaining hidden puts it on par with the previous app I used, with the bonus of more sorting options, but the cloud was one of the big reasons I selected this app. Between that and not being able to view GIFs, I’m going to have to seek out another app or go back to the one I was using before..Version: 7.3

It had a decoy calculator icon, which actually worked as a calculator until you entered your secret pasdword, this was the main reason I actually paid for it. With this new update there is no longer a decoy icon and in it's place is a bright beach umbrella! Not very inconspicuous... Some things that no longer work. - After adding photos the prompt to delete them from the photo album no longer appears - The menu to add photos is no longer there, you have to click on a photo and then press the + button to add photos - There is no way to add videos anymore, the menu is completely gone - There’s no way to download saved videos, the menu is completely gone - I can’t reset my password (my fault I can’t remember since I use touch login) but the option should work to do a password reset Can you please look into fixing those things and making the app usable again. ✓ Won’t open on iPhone XrGot a new phone and transferred my content from the cloud. Now when I try to open the app it brings up the many page with the Administrator folder and when you click on it the app disappears. If you push to see what apps are open it’s there but just a black screen, if you select it it goes back to the above mentioned description. Now I’m curious to see if my content is gone too. Also not very nonchalant when they change the icon from a calculator to “photo vault” gee I wonder what’s in there?.Version: 6.9
✓ Major flawThis works fine until you close down the app by going back to the home screen, you can then either click on the app (still open in the background) and it opens back up showing whatever you were viewing prior to closing or you can double click the home button to close the app by swiping up and again, whatever you were viewing is still there, then if you wanted you could re open app from there too! No good for keeping things private!.Version: 6.9
✓ Great until....This app was 5 stars until the slow motion shuffle was replaced with a 15 second skip. Now finding the correct spot is painful. Also it’s lost its ability to export back to out to photos. Disappointed..Version: 6.7
✓ A great app ruined!The whole point of having this app was to have a secret photo and video folder on your phone disguised as a calculator. Now the app icon is a calculator but it is called 'Photo Vault!' Why call it that when it looks like a calculator, and why remove the working calculator and change the name?! Before it was hidden away unless you knew the secret way to get in. Now it's blatantly obvious it is a folder of secret photos. Complete waste of money!.Version: 8.1.2
✓ Ok until it stopped working until I paid for premium versionThe app was ok would have been better if it had contained a web browser so videos could be saved direct from web , but then after 10 days it stopped working asking me to pay for premium version, don’t waste your time unless you want to pay £3 for it.Version: 7.8
✓ USED to love it..I use this app to hide photos. I have purchased the full version and have had it for close to two years I’d expect. Lately tho when I try to hide photos it won’t pull them in. It acts like it is and has the bar counting up but then it disappears and there is nothing there. Also if I try to export the photos it won’t allow me to save them back to my phone and if I try to send them in a text, it just shows a file but won’t allow the person to open it or for me to see the pic full view on my end.. I have tried exiting out, restarting phone, multiple things and can’t seem to get it to work. I tried to email but it gave me an error said no email can be sent?? I’m pretty bummed out and liked having all my naughty photos in one place.. but now I guess I’ll have to purchase a different one and save them there..Version: 7.8

Photo Vault, calculator, spv - secret Phot Vault - it’s all the same app. Whenever they upgrade, they change the name. It’s a con.
