✓ Broken - Doh!Was my favorite guitar app. Updated my iPhone 4s today to IOS 8 and now the app crashes. I get a message about not being able to connect to audiobus and the screen keyboard is stuck displaying on top of the app so half the functionality is covered up. ✓ Wow. Fooled again.So I’ve just downloaded this app, and was excited to use the metal amps, like the loomis or even the orange amp and come to find out they aren’t available. Wether you have to actually BUY them or you have to do something to access them is beyond me. I’ve been fooled again by these mobile amplifier apps, it’s all a money hungry system. Even the preloaded presets sounded terrible. I’ll stick to my amp sims on my MacBook that I’m not forced to pay to play..Version: 3.6.42

✓ Cool app but bad support responseI like the app and effects. I've bought a few effects add-ons. I also bought a Griffin Stompbox pedal to use with it and it's weird trying to understand some aspect of how the switching works between the Stompbox and JamUp effects. I've emailed them twice last year about it and never got a response or acknowledgement. So good luck if you can't figure something out and need help and can't find other users with the same problem in their forum..Version: 3.6.39
✓ Why so much feedback?!I don’t understand how there can be any feedback while using earbuds. And using an external speaker? - forget about it! If you want a decent amount of distortion it squeals like a Ned Beaty in Deliverance..Version: 3.6.40
✓ Jam UpGreat amount of choices, GFX and features but if I'm absolutely honest, I'm struggling to find the clean or overdrive sound that I've been looking for. I tend to judge apps/plugins on the simple stuff not all the bells and whistles. I wanted so much from this app and to a point it delivers but I suppose I should stop comparing it to Guitar Rig which is another level. Def worth a buy but not quite there yet!.Version: 2.3.1
✓ Rubbish!Does not work with Griffin Stomp Box at all if you have one don't bother with this app it's a waste of time! I bought the Griffin stomp box to use with this app as the developer claims it is compatible. Put simply it just isn't !.Version: 2.0.0
✓ Amps not workingI'm using iRig to connect both guitar and bass, and the amp bit is completely dead, it shows the heads and knobs normally but changing amps, or twisting the knobs does anything at all to the sound, I even get the sensation the app was totally bypassed, wasn't for the EQ and tubescreamer pedals who are working fine. I would say the problem could be the iRig but since you guys tell your app works with it, then is all on you folks! I'll wait until the next update before I drop any nasty comments, but for now I'll just limit myself to "can't say if is good because it doesn't work"..Version: 2.3.0

✓ Not happy!I downloaded the free app and then purchased the bass expansion pack. From the beginning it had problems with distorted sound and low volume levels. Then after apple issued an iOS 9 update to my iPad Air 2, the app stopped working. I contacted Positive Grid and they tried to help me, but still have not been able to get it working again. Apple issued a patch(9.3.1) to fix some problems that were causing apps to stop working and the app did start working again, however despite backing up my plug-ins, they were missing and I can't get them back. I can't even buy them a second time because the app store won't let me and neither will the Positive Grid website. In the meantime they have my money and I have an app that doesn't work..Version: 3.6.21

✓ Great tones... Limited midi controlI will say that the tones and effect options available within this app are second to none. The only thing keeping me from going full on with it in a live environment is the limited midi control capability. You can turn effects and amps on and off and change presets easily, but the only controls that can be changed while engaged are volume and Wah/whammy. If there was more flexible midi control of effect parameters, and the ability to allow delay and reverb tails to continue after effects are turned off, then I would replace my live rig for bar gigs completely and just use this app. As it stands, this is fun for home use, but the limited control makes it fall short of its potential..Version: 3.6.5
✓ Hard to know which patches I should purchaseI wanted to buy some patch amps or whatever to get the sound of the guitars in the presets, but ended up buy unncessary ones. No way of knowing what I should buy. There has to be a better way to know which ones needed..Version: 2.3.1
✓ Oh dearReally wanted to like this. Great tuner large knobs great layout etc. The problem is the quality of modeling, nothing gets close . Amplitube pretty much gets the flavour of the gear, for example the univibe sounds close to the original in Amplitube, sounds like an overmodulated phaser in jamup. Similarly the fender reverb sounds like an off the shelf room reverb nothing like a spring. The amps are OK but so so. Everything feels like huge effort put in to making it pretty, not enough effort put into the modeling sound. Shame another wasted app purchase in the unused folder and back to amplitube, not such a nice interface but a magnitude better amp sim. Hope this was helpful..Version: 2.4.3

✓ Latest UPDATE FAIL!!!This App is great, except for one thing... After the last update it has rendered the App TOTALLY USELESS to me!! The function buttons on the bottom of screen don't work at all, I can't adjust/tweek ANY of the Amp knobs/settings including the Hi/Low switch because they just won't respond!! ..AND, every time I try to 'choose' a different Amp (which is about all I CAN do!) the touch-keypad for the iPHONE keeps popping up and you can't get rid of it except to close the App and re-open it again. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE Positive Grid??? Please fix ASAP so I can continue using your otherwise awesome App...Version: 2.3.1
