✓ Amazing app…at first!!!!So i got this app when it was free ages ago, and mostly uses it instead of my camera, as i had almost used all my space. It was great, definately 5 stars! One day, a few weeks ago, i tried to go on it and it wouldnt work, i've downloaded the newsest version and it still wont work! the most annoying thing is almost all my photos are on there, and i cant get them off! not sure if its because you now have to pay for the app, but it would probably work just buying the app! :).Version: 2.1.0
✓ Update is an epic fail👎As a long-time user and fan of Wondershare products for both iOS and PC, I was very excited by the announcement of the latest update, particularly the new ability to edit images from my camera roll, which I had been hoping for quite some time they would add. In fact, I had intended to log into the App Store after I completed the update in order to thank them and give Power Cam what I thought would be a well-deserved 5-star rating. Talk about bait and switch! In order to utilize the updated editing features (including the new filter effects), one is forced to pay for an upgrade. And incidentally and ironically, the in-app upgrade button does not function; an error message comes on to tell you that there is something wrong with your connection, even though your connection is just fine. Had the developers given me the option of paying for an upgrade in its update notification, I might have happily done so, but as it is, I refuse to be railroaded into paying for an editing function which most apps offer as a standard feature..Version: 2.0.0
✓ A little frustrating...Fun app and I love the filters. But why should we have to pay to edit existing photos? I can understand paying for extra filters and such, and would gladly do so, but why pay when every other app out there lets you edit pics from your camera roll. Who always has time to open up apps and set up filters and effects before snapping a pic? For that reason i use this app far less than any of my others. ✓ Review.Although this app is going to be very popular, I don't like it, the features like colour splash DO NOT work properly, instead, it adds a dot of grey on my face and it is impossible to erase it from anywhere so I deleted the app in frustration. The magic cam is also bot very good, pretty poor for a matter of fact. Despite that load of bad stuff it's a good concept is great, the camera is great, and you're gonna do great. Just remove the ugly grey dots from the camera. :D.Version: 1.7

✓ Got my hopes up only to be brought back downLoved this app. It was the best camera app I could find. The most recent update got me excited to believe I'd be able to apply effects to existing photos but instead all I get are options to rotate and crop which is a standard feature on my iPhone. If I want to apply effects to my existing photos I gotta pay. Surely other people are ticked because they had to pay to get this app. I guess I can understand why you'd charge for new filters but don't start making us pay for what was once free. ✓ Thought I liked it but disappointed by low resTitle says it all. This is a truly unique camera app because it allows you to preview a very large selection of both photo and video effects before you shoot. I thought I liked it so much that I even bought the creative pack, which would have been worth it, if the app saved images in all of their 8mp glory. 3.1mp was as high as I was able to go. Only two resolution options are offered for photos - print and social networks, the latter of which is completely low res. This alone is a deal breaker for me because I only like saving in high res (although I don't mind having a low res option), and the app prevents me from being able to fully take advantage of the iPhone 5's true capabilities. What a shame because it's such a fun app! I'll bump my review up to 5 stars as soon as the resolution issue is remedied (if it ever will be)..Version: 2.1.0

✓ Still uselessThis was the best camera app out there but with the latest upgrade now it's probably the worst. It closes whenever you swipe the screen or try to change effects. Has a major bug that makes it worthless. Just installed most recent upgrade today & app still doesn't function. Now the app closes when you just take a picture. It makes me wary about updating something that works so good just to have it not work at all. I think I'll have to wait & see what the reviews are before deciding to update from now on. ✓ Teleprompter doesn’t workUnfortunately, the teleprompter is the only feature that makes this app having. And yet, this is the feature that simply does not work. You enter your script, save it. You go to the screen and start the recorder. It asks you what language you want. in my case I picked English. As recording starts, you can see that it can hear you by the little VU meter in the left of the screen. My understanding is that as you speak, the teleprompter should move. It doesn’t do that. Not only that, you cannot even manually scroll with your finger. Having used the older version of this app, this is not a great replacement. All of the features that used to be in the old app are gone and replaced with some thing that simply doesn’t work. Sad.Version: 4.0.3

✓ You switched core use trapping a decade of mediaThis was my favorite app to add video and photo effects for over a decade. Then I upgraded my phone which downloaded the latest update, and you switched core use from Photos to video Teleprompter, this trapped all the media that I have taken, since my son was a child and I cannot get it back, because you switched the core use. No app is not available on your website. Support is unreachable, and I lost a decade of my sons memories FIX IT. if you wanted to create a Teleprompter, you should created a seperate Teleprompter app not changing an app that was fine. ✓ Overrated to the maxIt's pretty annoying to buy an app only to discover you have to pay more for what are basic features. I think it's also rude to charge money for a camera app then place a distracting shopping cart icon on the screen at all times. The delay between tapping and actually capturing the photo is about 5 seconds which makes it very difficult (read impossible) to capture fast moving subjects or candid moments. Wondershare/PowerCam invites people to contact them with issues yet never responds when I do. ✓ Why do reviews need titles...This is not a bad app. overall. It's just so unbelievably sluggish while taking photos that it's nearly impossible to take a photo with movement of any kind. It has something like a 2 sec. ( I'm being literal ) delay from the time to tap the button to the time it captures a photo. So, if you just use it to "edit" photos then it'd work fine for most of the effects. Fake comment or a troll: The comment by the "photographer" who uses this app. and gets better results than with a more expensive software... taking and editing photos on your phone is a long shot from photography..Version: 2.3.0
