✓ NAIOU1I've downloaded, deleted, and redownloaded this app several times in hopes more speakers would be added. Unfortunately, that still hasn't happened. It almost seems like the developer put this app in the market and did nothing else with it. There are 12 step conventions and speaker jams going on all the time, so why aren't the speakers on this app updated? This app has so much potential. However, sadly the developers don't want to put in the time and effort to make it a 5 star app. I have even emailed them a couple of times regarding this subject. Nothing has been done, though I was assured improvements were in store..Version: 1.1
✓ Stopped workingI listen to a share every night but it stopped working, I never downloaded my shares, I streamed them but it’s not working now.Version: 2.6.0
✓ Too randomSpeakers are only listed by name, and maybe location. There is no subject listed. So there is no way to know the topic before hand. You just have to randomly select a speaker and hope their subject is of interest. I tried using the search function. But none of the words I entered brought up anything. So if you are just willing to listen to any speaker on a completely random basis, this is your app..Version: 2.1
✓ It needs tweaking!Updating my review since i updated that app i cannot even open the app now. It keeps crashing! And theres no customer service to resolve this issue!! What i wrote before this issue: Ok great concept and material! But I can't fast forward the talks or even save them after they are downloaded.The favorites option is useless too which is annoying when you want hear someone a second time. This is a time consuming problem! Other than that the speakers are great and the sound is clear! please fix these issues! Then I'd say its worth five dollars!.Version: 1.1

✓ Read these reviews -Dont buy this app!I wish i'd read the reviews before i bought this app-- it crashed almost immediately and now doesn't work. With so many people having the same experience I cant believe Mr Huff hasn't fixed the problem or taken the app down instead of continuing to take people's' money for an app that doesn't work. ✓ Great speakers, needs work!I was listening to this app for some time, before I realized how many duplicate speakers there are on here. Not sure when it happened, or if it was like that all along. What a pain! And there is no way to check off speakers that you've already listened to. If you're going to do it do it right! That said, if Dean works out the kinks, this app is totally indispensable. I hope people will continue to upload wonderful Alanon speakers talking pure program. It's great to hear people in recovery share their stories anywhere I go..Version: 1.1

✓ 3 out of 5I like the app and the concept but because its an app you have to pay for I believe some of the options should run better. The apps description advertises downloading capabilities with the option to listen offline later. But the truth is I can only listen to the now playing speaker once offline and you need to be online to switch to a different speaker even though it is downloaded. 3 out of 5..Version: 2.2
✓ Offline listening doesn't work rightI mostly want to listen in my car. If I start listening to one speaker that I've downloaded, it will play offline, but will not play any others that I've downloaded until i get wifi again. I reported this back in late winter and the developer did not acknowledge it was a known issue and I felt like I might be the only one that had this issue, but now I know I am not. I can't tell if new speakers are added, are they? It would be nice if there was a NEW section or have recordings marked individually as new for, say, 6 months. Also maybe a way to upload speaker recordings or at least recommend some. I hope the developer is planning some improvements as there is a lot of potential here!.Version: 2.2

✓ BugsThis app would be great if there wasn't a bug throughout . U cant pause audio when listening to a stream version and if u do pause when u play again it gies into updating mode looses it's place and all u can do is start from the beginning because u can't even go to where u were up too. ✓ This App Is A Rip OffThe app was recommended in an OA newsletter by another member so I figured it would be ok. I saw past the 4.99 price tag and now I regret it. The app just doesn't work.
