✓ What the others seem to be missingJust had prostate surgery, and with it along came six or seven “take as needed” medicines. Not to mention the five “must take on schedule” meds from this last Fall’s stroke. This app let me schedule reminders for the required meds while still letting me easily record the times I take the as needed stuff. It’s quick and simple to enter the needed info. My only request would be to be able to enter quantity instead of dose when recording my history. ================ Update: iOS 12.4.1 broke the Taken All feature. 🙁.Version: 5.0

There are a couple of things that would be great to see.... 1) an option to have an alarm that keeps ringing for 5,10 mins etc. 2) couple of bugs, when you delete doses for the future, but still have other doses for the same med, for some reason reminders come up with reminders for doses that have already been taken. ✓ Pill MonitorUseful but missing a couple of functions, such as decrementing pill count from total and no ability to record a take-as-needed prescribed drug unless you schedule it regularly and then skip when you don't need it. Also has some minor bugs, or at least annoyances. One is if you amend the end date in the schedule it resets reminders for the whole period. Despite this I consider excellent value and now I've found the work arounds it is certainly doing enough to keep me drugged to doctor's orders..Version: 2.1
✓ Heart valve replacementBecause I had a new heart valve fitted last year I have to take lots of different tablets so I needed a reliable way to monitor my pills and this is great as you can keep a record of the time you took them and can easily change it add your different ones and even email the history too. Just wish it could take them for you. Why can't you alter the type of sound it gives you for the reminder anymore. Can you update the app so that your first reminder lasts longer on your lock screen so you can say you have taken it.Version: 4.1.2
✓ Almost perfectJust wanted the badge to be activated at the point of alert. I close the app and then there is no badge. I have to open the app for the badge to appear. I like badges better than notifications. Also my pill is a compound pill with 3 ingredients. Don't want to list them just want to add it as a 1x pill with no actual dose as its all preset by the drug company (everyone gets the same dose, it's universal). Otherwise, love the simplicity. My husband did not know he was in continuous atrial fib and was put on anticoagulants. A critical incident a week ago when his heart rate dropped to 30 bpm and he went into shock resulted in him getting immediate care. The monthly fee is too high as we have our own cardiologists and do not need interpretations...may look at alternate programs because of this. Was surprised when app suddenly stopped working and history was lost...update for the program means pay a monthly fee!.Version: 4.2

I like that you can back up the history and settings and restore them on to the paid app (which is what I eventually decided to do after using the free one). Go for it! Developers: A very useful addition would be the ability to mark all as 'Taken' or 'skipped'. ✓ Worth time investedThe app take a little time to set up (but then I have 13 different medications taken in differing amounts over five times a day), but it is worth the time investment. It counts down the number of doses/pills each medication and you can set a level at which you wish it to notify you of the need for more supplies. This is essential for medication stock control. It can also send an email of all your medications to whomever needs that list, though it does seem to miss out the dosage data on that, which is a serious oversight (i keep a medical history and medication list on my computer anyway, and just update it whenever things change). ✓ Best app ever!I’m a power user of this app. I not only use it to track my complex medication regimen, but I also track some of my pulmonary therapy exercises. I’ve used PM to track and manage all of my medications since 2009. I have a huge body of data in this app. I’m frequently seen in emergency rooms, and I often get admitted. They love PM at my hospital because I just hand it over and they have a perfect contemporaneous record of everything I’m on and when I took it last. I consider PM to be the cornerstone of my entire chronic disease management system. It’s extremely flexible, works with all my meds, injectables, oral, topical, and even powders or liquids. It’s absolutely 100% reliable. I don’t think I can say that about any other app on my iPhone!.Version: 6.0

I take 5 different tablets at night and 3 in the morning, so it would be great to hit "taken all", then "taken now" so it records the time I actually took them, currently I have to go to each one, hit taken, then taken now, and then repeat for each one of my tablets, which gets a little annoying after using the app for years (stopped using the app for a bit to reset myself about before coming back and using it again) Thanks again for creating this awesome app and keeping the price at $0.99. ✓ VERY good App!This is a GOOD app, but COULD manage to simplify the process of taking multiple meds, that are scheduled at the SAME time! I take 3 and 6 pills at a time, four times daily. Currently, the reminders make me choose one med at a time, and choose the time taken for each one - this is NOT a hardship, but can be improved! An option to GROUP the meds, by TIME TAKEN, and THEN choose the time taken for those meds would make Pill Monitor absolutely the best of it's kind available!.Version: 7.0

✓ Best med minder appI've tried too many med-minder apps to count. This one does the best job of logging my meds without forcing features on me that just get in my way or missing features I do need. I'm able to configure the app to suit my needs. Data is exported conveniently as a spreadsheet (which I often use for viewing my data in different ways). The only drawback is that if you change something about a pill (e.g. the length of time you’re taking it) it regenerates a load of unwanted notifications. I too would like the badge to show without my going into the app first - that would be a real bonus. This app is ok but if you make a change or edit a dosage or spelling it doesn't keep your info. Also I wasn't pleased that I entered all my info and then found I had to pay which caused me to have to start at the beginning and re-enter all my info. That review was a year or so ago. They've done a lot of really interesting updates. It's very decent and easy to use. I really like how I can put a pic of my bottle or pills or whatever.
