Not stable using bluetooth devicesI love this and I am using it a lot connected via BT to a portable guitar amp. Unfortunately it becomes unstable with BT and also introduces so many more artefacts than other metronomes with less features.Version: 3.13.2

Free version uselessI am well aware there are feature limitations with any free app. However, every time I open the app, before I have even praised any buttons, I get an error message saying that feature isn't allowed in the free app. I have to click to close the error message. It then pops up again straight away and I have to click it to make it go away. Only then can I actually start the metronome. All I want is a beat. But ever time I want to start or end the beat I have to click away two error messages. Very very frustrating. If I decide to pay for a metronome I will deliberately pick a different one..Version: 3.13.2

No one should need to subscribe to a MetronomeI was surprised to see that the “pro” version is no longer available for a once off purchase, instead replaced with a subscription model. Im lucky enough to have bought this before they removed the option to buy it, but it’s disappointing to see another developer chase this predatory business model. In no world should a metronome app need a subscription. Otherwise a good app, but cannot recommend when there are other options available..Version: 4.0.2

Not optimised for iPhone X, Xs, 11On my older iPhone 7 it is a great app, possibly the best metronome. On my new iPhone XS Max the app is not optimised for the screen so it has huge black bars at the bottom and the top. On top of that the app is slow to open, change settings and is buggy when using the gestures for the newer iPhones. An update or overhaul do this app is 2 years overdue..Version: 3.13.2

Subscription? whyI originally enjoyed this app because it had all the basic functions i needed, while also being one the bafflingly few metronome apps that didn't require: a.) an absurd amount of my personal information and data and b.) a subscription service. while i'm pleased to say that this app still isn't (at least) blatantly scalping my data, i'm less pleased at the new subscription service. there's now a bunch of paywalls for basic app functions that used to be free, which is frankly uncool. the new UI is sharp but honestly a little less straightforward than before? can you truly not change the tempo for free besides the baffling "tap" button? i swear that the old app was not nearly this confusing to use..Version: 4.0

Fully featured but no instructions.Given this app has lots of functionality it was very disappointing to find the help button generates an error message. Basically I’m lost in the intracies and am unlikely to use the app as a result..Version: 3.13.2

Limited Basic FreebieLooking for those playlists and additional functions, then you’ll have to pay! Seven add-ons for £3.99. I don’t like the ‘swinging slider analogue display as it describes a straight line and not an arc, also as your eye naturally tries to follow it, on a iPad Pro and fast tempo, it gave me eye strain= poor visibility. Therefore, without buying I’m still looking for a Setlist playing app that’ll retain your data even after the inevitable updates..Version: 3.13.2

Not "Pro" if you get a disabling pop-up when in use.Simply this: The "did you enjoy this update" or "please rate" are very insistent pop-ups. Best of all they DISABLE controls until you respond. In the middle of a concert. If that is your idea of "Pro" then this may be for you. It IS a good app, but the seriousness of pop ups in The PRO / PAID version is not acceptable to me. Find a solution to this and it would be 5 stars. Until then it is somewhat worrying to use. I am writing this to get something done and to try to stop them. Especially the "rate/enjoy this update one" - how often will that pop up, in the middle of something important?.Version: 3.13.2

ProblemsIt’s very good, but sometimes it freezes and the beat’s still taping..Version: 3.13.2

It’s not a bad app, but I was overwhelmingly frustrated.Like I said, it’s not a bad app. It’s got great features and foreseeable success. I liked the fact that you could set timers and change the sound of each beat if you wanted, but I suggest not using the tap button to change the tempo. That’s not my main issue with my short lived experience with this app, but just to test it out, I was tapping along with the tempo I already had (120bpm) to see if it’d only change one or two numbers or not at all. It plummeted down to 80bpm; not even close. Other than that, everything was great...almost. I was trying to play music and I would have to keep stopping because the last beat would somehow keep muting itself. To add insult to injury, the tempo would move up two beats every few minutes, and I was entirely confused. My frustration continued to grow as pop ups to buy the full version assaulted my screen repeatedly. It kept opening different sections by itself and I couldn’t get anything done. Needless to say, it is no longer on my phone..Version: 3.13.2

Use something else!It’s ok I guess.Version: 3.13.2

Nice but... 😙😦I use this for piano class and it helps. 🤗 Especially from my evil teacher 😅😂🤣 But there is an issue. 😵 This app as not as ‘pro’ as you think. 😵 Firstly, to get full access, you need to pay. 😑🙄 Secondly, when you look at the features of what you get when you pay, then, you can’t get out of it. And you have to delete it then re download it. Personally, it’s a waste of time I must say. 🤨😕 Thirdly/lastly, when you change the beats, it can get kinda/kind of confusing to be honest... 😬 I suggest add in a ‘how-to/2-do’ section. 🤔 Please fix this (‘inconvenience’). 😓 Thanks for taking your time to read this. 🙏🏻 ~Random Apple 🍎 User (tell me my acc. name please. I forgot). ✌🏻✌🏻.Version: 3.13.2

What happened after update?I used to love this app as there was no ad and it did its job properly. After the recent update, it keeps on skipping beats on random places. I can feel the vibration and the visual so it's not the app that's stopping but rather the sound that's not being produced...... a bit disappointed and will use another app..Version: 4.0.5

Shiftable SetlistI love this metronome program. Unfortunately however, in a recent update, they removed the ability to rearrange “song titles” in a playlist. Before, you could grab a title in the playlist and drag it up and down in the order of titles. This is an imperative need in the edit playlist function that will hopefully return asap. if I am overlooking this revised functionality can you please advise. I need it for tonight’s show! And then for next week’s shows too, that will have a different order of songs in the play list. But I am unable to do so in this recent revision. Please advise..Version: 3.13.2

Great app with great features....But...This app gets 2 stars from me because of what it aims to do with subdivisions and such (even though you must pay for them) without those features it would be one star. Why? Because it sells itself as a metronome. Something that keeps time...a rather important thing for all musicians. This metronome is broken and very inconsistent. Bad idea for new drummers that are working on internal time keeping ability. The metronome is as inconsistent, or more, than a brand new drummer that just started playing. I don’t know what causes this problem. The temp change is quite noticeable once you realize and pay attention to it. It drags and rushes while trying to stay where you want it. But I really just don’t even attempt to use it anymore because of this. It would otherwise be amazing and I’ll change the rating when it gets fixed..Version: 3.13.2

Buy proI'm a member of my schools marching band & i play bass 4 in battery and we just got our warm ups . i remembered i ran out of space on my phone so i deleted a bunch of apps along with my metronome & i downloaded this and i've actually had it before that's probably why i deleted this but it sucked so bad . don't waste your time on this . i think it just has to do with it's not the pro (the one that costs money) . try to get money and download the pro on any metronome app because it'll work way better . on this app and other basic metronome apps it only gave me quarter notes i needed like 16's and triplets & every beat of a measure like ( 1 e and a 2 e and a 3 e and a 4 e and a ) but it only gave me quarter notes along wth the other apps . but i looked at the pictures for ones with money and i bought a good one for 2.99 . it gives me all of that good stuff not just quarter notes . just type in MetroTimer & buy it . i promise it'll be worth it ..Version: 3.13.2

Subdivisions aren’t accurate.. please fix for us professionalsFirst off, let me start with I have loved this app for a very long time. But there has been one issue that has plagued this “professional Metronome” for sometime as well. . The subdivisions are wrong. If you set the meter of your metronome to 6/4 time at say 150BPM, listen, and then change it to 6/8 time at 150, those shouldn’t sound identical. At 75BPM, 6/8 should sound identical to 6/4 time at 150BPM. I honestly didn’t want to post this review with a two star, but figured this is the only way to get in touch with you since when you click on the support or contact tabs of your website, there’s a DNS server error..Version: 4.2.2

Tap tempo is all over the place, won’t use again.I’ve been a Music producer for 10+ years. When someone sends me reference tracks I like to know the tempo. Whenever I get a new iPhone and need to know the tempo of a track on the go, I head to the App Store and type in tempo... I saw good reviews so I downloaded and tried to tap the tempo of the record. It was surprisingly annoying jumping up and down 10-15bpm around the tempo I’m trying to find. Very inconsistent with accurate tempos.. it took multiple tries tapping many times to get within a wide range of tempos, then I’d have to guess until I find the right tempo. Waste of time for someone who’s trying to use a reliable tempo tap. By the way, I’m an extremely experienced tapper and can keep pretty much perfect time, so there is no excuse for this tempo tap to be all over the place lol... sorry guys. Let me know if you guys update the tempo section of the app and I’ll test it for you!!.Version: 3.13.2

No response yet!I really like this app. I bought the pro version and so much more available. HOWEVER!!!!! When I purchased a new iPad it keeps telling me that the device isn't authorised and I can fix this in system settings. Blow me down but I cannot find anything in there to solve this. "Support" is useless on this point. Sent email asking for help over a month ago. NO RESPONSE! Is it now necessary to purchase again because I DON'T THINK SO!!!!!!!!!!!'.Version: 3.13.2

Pro VersionI bougt the pro version, used it for over a year, then app refused to work. I deleted it, reinstalled it, but lost the pro version l’d already paid for. I want my pro version back..Version: 3.13.2

Was great, runied by greed and industry trends…This app was my go-to metronome even when it didn't get any updates for many years. Now the developer decided that while they were gonna give the app a face lift, they were also gonna lock previously avaliable features (like subdivisions, poly-rythm, flash/virbation) behind a perpetual paywall. Is it supidly expensive? No. But we dont need more subscriptions perpetually funneling money out of our accounts; especially for just getting back features that had been included for so many years. And of course, no option for a perpetual purchase. Very dissapointing. Im not gonna rate it a 1 cause the core functions are still there, just be warned the features being charged for were previously freely available..Version: 4.0.5

In-App Purchases Notification bugI downloaded this app just recently because I wasn't satisfied with my other metronome app, and let me just say it blows it out of the water. Just one problem... On my phone, I have In-App Purchases disabled, because most apps I go onto love to flood you with In-App Purchases, which wasn't a problem since I disabled it. ...Until now. When I boot up the app (every single time, even when multi-tasking), I always get two of the same message: "Oops! Device not authorized for In-App Purchase. You must enable it in System Settings." I didn't mind it at first, but EVERY time I refer to a song and come back, it gives me the same notice again, and again, and again, until I delete the app, actually adjust the settings (which I adjusted years ago and can't remember how to fix nor will fix), or wait until the next update. This app has a lot of potential, so I'm hoping the review to fix this bug comes out soon..Version: 3.13.2

Needs an update! No update in 4 years? It’s a great app and I use it a lot. But, and I’m guessing it’s because of iOS updates, I can no longer edit playlists and move songs around. The ‘three lines’ button that you can usually grab to move a playlist item up or down in the order, is no longer showing, so I have to copy songs to a new playlist each time, which is extremely convoluted and inconvenient. I paid for the pro version expecting to receive support and updates to keep it working. Please update!.Version: 3.13.2

Great! (Kind of...)TLDR; Set a click. Useable set list feature. Easy to preset. Awful click tones. I'm a working drummer and needed to set up a click track in a set list. It does just that. It works, it's easy enough to program, you can download the set as a playlist. Boom. Having an app like this on the market is ridiculously important and useful. The flipping back and forth between screens could be streamlined a little better instead of the weird page flip/attention to graphics. The reason I only gave 3 stars is because the click tones are wretched. Only one of them are unusable in a live setting, and even the woodblock tone is relatively bothersome. There's either too much going on in the click itself (cowbell, jingles, kick drum) or it's a tingy digital thing that is useless. If there was a way to set the click tone I'd give it a million stars..Version: 3.13.2

BadYou should pay for a simple metronome.Version: 3.13.2

EssentialReally find the speed automator useful for building left and right hand coordination and speed. A count in time would make it even better. Best metro app there is. Simple as that. Edit: dropped to three stars as the app hasn't had an update in 4 years and has unfortunately been abandoned. There are display issues on the iPhone X where things don't line up. Not filling the screen and the tempo dial is not aligned. It's a real shame, as it was a great app. It still works fine, just some graphic glitches. If it could be fixed via an update, I would give it 5 stars again..Version: 3.13.2
