✓ Add won’t quit!I’ve used this app for years, but recently I’ve had an issue where the annoying ad pops up but the close button won’t become clickable....the only way to get rid of it is to click the ad and then click back to the app. SUPER ANNOYING! ✓ Inapropriate adsI’ve had this app for quite a while, working no problem. Today went into it to find an ad come up for a “mature lady” who was “up for anything” or words to that effect, with a picture of said lady in her underwear. ✓ Getting startedUpon the first tap to find a Unit for of conversion the app immediately switches to an advertisement for some silly game, which I have no interest in whatsoever. You can’t get out of this until you interact with the game before it will return to the original app. Once your back and can proceed. From that point it’s a great app but it is infuriating every time you want to get started with a conversion..Version: 6.3.2

✓ Long-time user now stuck with mediocre “Lite” VersionI’ve had this app for over 5 years and have used the currency in multiple countries (e.g. China, Mexico, Canada, Italy, Ireland, etc). I also used this app mainly to convert units of measurement while cooking. Now, I find out that even though I have been a loyal user across many years, I am stuck watching ads before I can even select a unit of conversion. I don’t mind an occasional ad banner or two, but when you’re traveling to areas with low poor connection, it makes a world of difference. It is also frustrating to know that the privileges I had a free member are now available for a price in the App Store, since it is now required to pay to go beyond the “Lite” version. I had the app before there was a Lite version, and have been a loyal user through many changes and updates. This is not a good way to retain users, and frankly, I’m not sure I want the app anymore. This has left a bad taste in my mouth..Version: 5.7
✓ Adverts ruined once great appI get the need for advertising to support free apps, however, the ads are now so intrusive it makes the app useable. App often locks up after a full screen ad appears. Sometimes the ad will disappear after a while, but more often it crashes the app. Was a brilliant free app, but now almost useless. Try the paid version instead..Version: 5.3
✓ Slow and google does the same thingClaims to be the fastest way to do a conversion and then as soon as you tap the first field it pops up an advert. In no way is that faster than simply typing into google whatever your conversion is. I was hoping for the ability to do quick conversion i.e faster than typing into google but this is slower. ✓ No Way to X Out of Ads!!!Having to watch a short ad before using a free app is fair enough. But, the ads have been growing longer and more annoying. Today, the last straw: There is no “X” at the corner or other way to shut off the ad. It just keeps repeating. I guess that’s supposed to force me to buy the ad-less version. ✓ Deleted after yearsUsed to be good. Stuck to it for years. No ads when I first got it. Then just one short (few seconds) ad used to pop up upon first use which I didn’t mind too much. Now it’s got to the point where you can’t do anything there’s that many ads! Or you can but it’ll take you a couple of minutes before you convert what you need to. 2 stars only for giving me a few years service but your current app deserves 1 star. Deleted and swapped with “Units Plus” - only banner ads at the bottom, no interrupting pop up ads ;-).Version: 5.7

✓ What’s with increase in advertising?UPDATE: I’ve had enough. Deleting this app because of the massive increase in advertising. I have used this app for a couple years to convert measurements for the installation manuals I produce. While using it today, I’ve noticed a huge increase in advertising that covers the entire app, some of which cannot be closed for a period of time. Look, I get that this is the lite version and advertising is the way you make money. But there’s a tipping point. If this level of advertising continues, I will drop my rating to 1 star. I will delete the app and find something else. That may be a paid app, but it won’t be yours..Version: 5.9.2
