✓ Dissapointing!Had years worth of notes on this app, and without warning it all disappeared. The "lost notes" function has nothing, although I had a backup on my email there is no "restore" function! so it doesn't matter if you have a backup because there is no way to restore anything. Will keep in hopes of the notes returning (somehow) but I will not be using this app again. 0/10 would not recommend.Version: 6.2

✓ Great AppThere’s no other note app like this, I’ve used it for years. Everything about is great, it would be perfect but the only problem is, sometimes the notes you take do not save and get deleted. ✓ Passcode bug STILL presentDespite this latest update the passcode bug is STILL present - if you are opening the app afresh, despite being set, it does not ask for the passcode, it allows immediate access. It is only if the app has already been opened and has been running in the background that it requires passcode entry when you attempt to go back to it, but as soon as you close the app fully, on opening it again it allows immediate access without passcode. This is a major flaw if you specifically bought this app for the extra layer of security a passcode SHOULD provide. Very disappointing, as otherwise this is a nice app..Version: 5.1.3

✓ DangerousThis app 'lost' my notes and when I went to the support page, I found that many others had the same problem. Given that it is such a basic flaw, I think this should be removed from sale until the problem has been fixed. The layout is good, it felt fine to use but then the text disappears. ✓ Issues with backupBacking up and restoring has an issue which is frustrating. When restoring an error message appears stating there is some form of corruption. The only fix is to uninstall the app from either iPad or iPhone reinstall then restore. Can this be fixed please. Aside from that bug (non-trivial) the application is great. I recently had a lot of notes building up and I knew I needed to do a backup. I did my normal backup on this app and shortly after everything was wiped out. I didn’t think anything about losing everything because I knew I had a backup. I tried to reload my backup multiple times and I got nothing. I reset my phone. I tried to load my backup with WiFi on and off and no luck either way. Still nothing. I thought I would take my issue up with an email to the company. I sent them an email a week ago hoping to get a response. Honestly, since this company is a tech company I am disappointed with their customer service option. ✓ SuggestionsI love this app! However, there’s a couple of frustrating things that make me end up using other notes apps, even though this one is one of the most useful ones for folders and organising. Having to select the text to change from bold to unbold etc gets very tedious, especially when I only want the first word to be bold for each line (and especially when some Apple phones seem to have an issue with selection precision). It’d be much quicker if there was a toggle so we can switch it on and off as we’re typing each word. This would make making forms etc much easier. Another thing that would be great that I’ve seen on other notes apps is the ability to change font sizes for individual letters or words, rather than having the entire page in the same font size. ✓ Horrendous Mistake In 7.1 UpdateI have never had a problem with this app until this update (7.1). The problem I have now? An update should not delete all of my notes and folders without warning me first so I can make a backup. That's my problem with this app now. ✓ Very Minor Problem, PLEASE FIX!After IOS9, this has became a minor but really irritating problem: when I am typing in app and the keyboard is up and if I click directly out of the app like the home button or fast-travel to an app and come back, there is this huge white space that covers up the page as it appears the keyboard has jumped and glitched over the screen so everytime I have to go back to the folder section and come back to the note to have it normal again. This could be prevented if I click done on the upper right hand corner of the app to close the keyboard but I tend to go from one app to another to look and record notes and it's a pain to have to close it every single time when I want to exit the app. Fixing this would make life so much easier. ✓ Figured out how to restore from iCloudI lost all the notes since my backup in November for no apparent reason. The app glitched and wouldn't load properly. If you use this app, use the backup feature super frequently, not just before updating the app. TO RESTORE: click "Backup Reminder!" Then click "Reload". It will ask if you want to replace your existing notes with the ones saved in your iCloud account. Do that. (If you have any new notes, save them elsewhere and recreate them afterwards.) For posterity... Everything I had was erased in an update. Some kind of warning in the update would have been helpful. Super angry about this - how is it that the app remembers the password I set but has lost ALL my notes? It's great that the new version has a backup feature with prompts. Too bad you didn't prompt people to back up their notes before releasing this update. PLEASE FIX. I am not deleting the app yet, I hope it is something reversible. The lack of acknowledgement of this problem in the subsequent updates causes me to leave a 3-star rating. ✓ " Temporary " Solution.I'm using this App too, and too am experiencing the Crash on the most recent update ( iOS version 6.x.x ). However it appears the latest update in fact remains stable and working just fine on iOS 8.x , so if you're using this App across multiple devices with at least one device running iOS 8.x and you have a latest backup of your notes somewhere on-line, something like Dropbox ( which is what I do ), a " Temporary " solution is to download the previous evolution of the N+otes App called simply " N+ote " onto the device running iOS 8.x ( where the latest N+otes update works fine ). Functionally, " N+ote " works and operates just like " N+otes ", but the backups are not compatible between the two Apps, so you have to manually do a Copy and Paste of each note from N+otes onto N+ote ( on the device running iOS 8.x ). When you have Replicated a full carbon copy of the notes from N+otes onto N+ote, Backup the notes from N+ote on-line. Download and install " N+ote " onto the device where " N+otes " is crashing and restore your notes from your on-line backup into " N+ote ". This is what I have done. This will serve as a temporary solution until the next update of " N+otes ". A bit tedious I know, but it is the next best solution while we wait for the next ( hopefully working ) update of " N+otes "..Version: 5.2
