✓ Good App, only focuses on certain leagues however.Overall, FotMob is a great app for scores, great layout too. However, I feel they focus too much on the Premier league and other leagues in England. Which is a shame because fans from Scotland like myself who follow the Leagues here are underrepresented. Lineups fail to come up for certain cups and Leagues, even though clubs in these games are bigger than most clubs in England. Consequently, a review of how they manage other leagues like Scottish Premiership, Championship, Scottish Cup etc would be appreciated..Footie ⚽️💥Version: 1128.0

✓ Good but could be betterVery good app, features such as favourite leagues, clubs and players allow you to follow football to a very close degree. The only thing that really bothers me is the notification system. It is good if you want the notification but I am having a problem for a long time now where some leagues which I favourited but no longer follow and all of the possible notifications are off still pop up all the time. For example, I used to follow the Polish league but no longer want to follow them but I still receive notifications about every game start and end. ✓ The most useful widget has been removedThe app itself it great but the widget selection isn’t. The old widget detailed the scores from all your selected favourite teams from any country which was great as I like to follow clubs in different leagues but no longer have this option. The only similar widget now is the league widget but I don’t care who Crystal Palace are playing against, I want to know the Real Madrid game score! The new widget is named ‘favourite teams’ but in fact it is just ‘team’ as you can only follow 1. Huge downgrade..S115MNVersion: 1111.0

✓ Good App but live activities just doesn’t work wellThe app is good and gives you updates on all the games the problem is on the 14 pro, it just doesn’t update the scores on the Lock Screen and the dynamic island. I’ve gone a whole game saying it’s 0-0 but once I went in to the app the game said 3-0 and when I exited the app, only then did it update to 3-0! By then what’s the point!? I thought the point of live activities is so I don’t have to go in to the app to update the score but it looks like I was wrong.Sukhvir GillVersion: 1117.0

✓ Notifications Wear Me OutI had used FotMob before but deleted it and tried another. It didn’t have TV info, so I went back to FotMob. I’ve been quickly reminded why I deleted it before. The notifications are excessive. I selected Breaking News (“a few notifications a week” it says) and in the first 15 hours or so I’ve had 11 notifications, almost none of them I care anything about. It’s a nice app overall, but you either have to choose to get no notifications (or maybe only for teams you follow) or spend the day checking your buzzing phone to see that it’s only FotMob giving you some unimportant piece of news..ArkyscottVersion: 1026.0

✓ Great app - but crashes frequentlyI often use this app to check stats when placing bets, so I frequently switch back and forth and navigate through different menus which always results in crashing within about 3 minutes, I’ll restart the app and it’ll be fine, but the same thing will happen. The apps functionality is good, I love the menus and the ease of comparing stats, the way the data is presented etc, the entire app and its UI is pretty solid, just disappointed that it crashes so much. ✓ CountrysI normall think Fotmob is a 5 star rate site but one thing they changed that made no sense was when you clicked on a teams profile it used to show what country they where from there are thousands of club teams no one knows where there all from especially lower teir teams that arent european now they show there last few game results if you just scroll down to there matches u can see what they did in last few games FOTMOB needs to bring that country feature back especially when theres a non european club tournament like copa libertadores that doesnt get as much facetime as champions league so not every team is recognized when you look at schedule its nice see where the 2 clubs are from..Pereyra30Version: 1007.0

✓ Great app, unusable during live gamesI really love this app, but for me it’s completely unusable during live games, which is largely when I like to use the app (looking at the formation, subs, player stats, etc). The reason for this is because I watch football through online streaming apps, such as Sky Go, BT Sport app, etc, and there’s always a delay of usually a minute or two. So obviously, I can’t use it because otherwise I see the scoreline change a minute or two before I see the goal, completely ruining a game. I can’t even generally browse, e.g. looking at the days’s games, because it’d easily stand out when it changes score. In today’s day and age, I can’t be the only person on the planet who watches football through streaming and has a delay when viewing. I’ve sent the developers a few emails over the years to suggest a feature whereby a user can simply delay live updates. It wouldn’t have to clutter the interface or make the app fussy, it could simply be a dropbox in the settings that says “Delay live score” with options between e.g. 5 to 60 mins. Anyway, they’ve never got back to me, and obviously never thought of implementing the feature, which is a shame. 5 stars for when I’m not using it for live games, 1 star for live games (useless), so I figured 3 stars is a fair score..Leeuk555Version: 1121.0

✓ ScoresWhen the tab ongoing matches is used and I keep re entering the app without ‘closing’ the app, the scores don’t always refresh. I have to manually refresh them. Same goes for normal matches in the normal matches tab. They don’t always automatically update promptly. Especially when switching to the app every 5-6 minutes or so. This issue needs to be looked at thoroughly as it’s ruining my experience. Lots of testing needs to be done. Very disappointed with this. Also, when I search for panathinaikos , I can’t find them. I have to find them by just clicking on them in the matches tab. But please inspect the scores updating fast in all tabs. Especially when re entering the app quite often to check scores. ✓ So many leagues on the main screen!I love this app but this is driving me crazy! Everytime i open the app to see what matches are on and browse, i am hit with 100 leagues i have no interest in, literally there’s like second division leagues and leagues i havent even heard off. And the bad thing is you can’t even delete them on the “matches” screen. Yes i know you can hide them but there are literally so many leagues that even after you hide the leagues you are still scrolling for a while to get to a league you actually pay attention too, as all the leagues are in alphabetical order. I’m pretty sure before you could select your favorite leagues and it would show you them on the “matches” screen and only the ones you selected. ✓ Almost perfect but still deeply frustratingThis app has everything you could want from a free app, but when you scroll past an ad, it often activates it just from the scroll past motion, which is almost unforgivable. Almost every time I use it, I’ll be scrolling past an Apple Music ad, which force-opens browser and then force-opens the store immediately after. It’s like the app is trying to be as I convenient as possible to force you to buy the ad-free version. ✓ Privacy settings don't work, app simply override all untick settingsThis app would be good if it wouldn't be dependent or enslaved on google's ad revenue. simplest example is if user goes to more tab of the app, settings and then privacy policy, manage options it will notice once all options are untick and app gets closed and reopened, all those privacy settings are back to factory settings. it affects reading of the news tab, games tab - ads pop up like crazy, app gets being useless, app serves as ad collection app, as if user is stuck on commercial brake on the local tv channel. answer to developer: hello! you are deliberately missing the point. no matter which update comes and how you update your app, it will still behave the same regarding those privacy settings. as it is now it is giving an bogus, imaginary choice. user have no real choice since app voids those choices an user makes. as soon as app gets closed, all those privacy settings are back to factory settings of the app. regarding FotMob Supporters Club, if you made an app just to make it an ads platform, ads dependent, or to earn money from ads revenue, even if it costs one cent i have absolutely no intention to pay for something which serves and dedicates its existence to ads..I tako dalje...Version: 1168.0

✓ Good but……..Firstly it’s still probably the best app out there for scores etc - but for me I preferred how it use to work. Yes, it lists every single score on the planet but I don’t want every match/league on my screen - I preferred it before the update a year or so ago where you could actually tick what leagues/countries etc you wanted in your feed, now they all show wether you want them or not and you have to scroll down and ‘collapse’ the ones you don’t want to show - a step backwards for me..BasherdrummerVersion: 1108.0

✓ Good but…I have had this app for many years and it is really good for getting the scores and following all the action. But the thing that has compelled me to write this is the adverts on the ‘news’ section. Trying to read an article is almost impossible as the text is constantly jumping about as adverts refresh and load continuously. There is an advert after every paragraph and every time the screen and text jumps about, the paragraph you were reading doesn’t then return to its original place, you have to go looking for it. ✓ Use to love itFotMob always use to be my go to app for football scores, it never failed to deliver, but for a while now competitions can’t be chosen between what can and can’t be selected as my viewed favourite leagues, it’s a bit cavalier in their thinking that everyone wants every result(even the womens, which I’m not interested in). So now I’m on 365 scores, which gives me everything I WANT, even with an ad or 2 I can put up with, but having my choice taken away from me is the end of it. ✓ Adds in the scoresDang I’m super disappointed with the new update and seriously wish I hadn’t done it. This app way probably my favorite app until the new update with the adds in between scores instead of at the bottom of the screen. I understand that you probably get more add revenue from this so I can’t really blame you but does it all have to be about money? Can’t you just focus on a good soccer app and even ask for donations? I’m sure this won’t change since it is beneficial for you guys so I have no choice but to delete and find a cleaner app with less intrusive adds. ✓ Live Activities part 3So second review as it finally worked for 1 match now it doesn’t - where starred a match and it advised would appear on Lock Screen ( which it did ) now next match nothing … tried various solutions and still not on Lock Screen ready for later tonight.
