✓ The best standard for WMATA bus tracking appsAfter the most recent update, this app has met every single one of my most wanted features for a Metrobus tracking app. In addition to bus routes that are available by selecting a stop and then touching one of the route numbers overlaid on the side of the screen, the app now allows you to store favorite bus stops as well. Overall usage is intuitive and the ability to check arrival times for stops outside of your immediate vicinity is a huge boon. Hint: use the "last updated" button to refresh arrival times or look for bus stops in a different area of the map. The app also shows arrival times for Metro trains. Ignore the reviews complaining about inaccurate times; that is not the app's fault. The blame lies with WMATA's crappy info. You'd run into the same problems by calling into NextBus since the data source is the same..Version: 3.0
✓ So far do goodTo be honest, I just loaded this app earlier today but it's 2 for 2 so far. I like that I don't have to enter the stop number - it shows stops at my location and I select the one I need. Times were accurate both times - time will tell if that continues..Version: 2.0

✓ Pretty SimpleI usually use the NextBus webpage. This app is super fast and it lists all the nearby stops with route number and stop ID. I do wish it gave the countdown till arrival in a lager font. I don't like flashing my phone around waiting for the bus. How hard is it to make the type larger? It does not show the route map, but if you know where you're going, it's great..Version: 1.2

✓ Maps rather than lists are a lifesaverThe basic idea of this app - that it pinpoints the bus stop closest to you and shows you the route on a map - is ingenious. I don't know why all bus route apps don't work this way. It is so much faster to use when you at elsewhere in town besides your home and work bus stops. Accuracy of the arrival data is as good as it can be considering the shoddiness of WMATA's NextBus predictions. Let us all hope one day WMATA moves to real time bus tracking so we don't have to wait for a bus that doesn't come..Version: 5.03
✓ Best app for DC public transportationGreat! I tried several other apps and this one is the best. Yes, it is very simple, but it is to its advantage. Just start it and it will find the nearest stop and show arrival times. You can navigate the map, find the place you are going, and it will find bus stops there. ✓ Great updateAdding bus route mapping and the ability to save favorite stops has bumped this up to a 4 for me, The predictions still have problems, and there has been a stop with no info for months, but the developer explained to me that this data comes straight from wmata. That brings me to an important point: I have never dealt with a more responsive and responsible developer. Not everything is perfect but he worked hard to understand my concerns, deal with them, and follow up with me on his progress. Fantastic and unfortunately rare..Version: 3.01

✓ Great basic appThis is a great, simple little app. It finds your location, brings up every bus stop near you and the expected arrival times of the next few buses. It is perfect if you already know the system and what buses you need to get where you are going. However, it is NOT a trip planner and there is no current functionality allowing you to see bus routes so that if you end up somewhere new, you can find where you are going. BUT a it's free and accurate and simple. And free. So kudos to the team and thank you for finally ending my search for a good bus app..Version: 1.2
