✓ Terrific toneAccessible with Voiceover. Lovely mellow tone with low, medium or high volume options. Can also choose sounding on quarter hourly or just on the hour and it strikes the hour too. The free version has t be kept in the app swticher so it's running in the background, but that's not a problem. Oh and you can choose the silent hours when it doesn't sound. Great..Version: 1.04

✓ I love this appI use the spoken times-I’m completely time blind, and while this doesn’t help me estimate how long things will take, it definitely helps me to stay on task and not let time ‘get away’ from me. I do have one complaint. The option to run the app during specific times in the day does not work. It’s either all the time, or nothing, and frequently I’ll forget to turn it back on, after turning it off over night. If that option worked, this would be a five star review! I've always liked chiming clocks, so it's great to have Westminster Chimes on my phone, it sounds exactly like a chiming clock you'd have in your house, in fact I like it so much I've bought the pro version. I love that there's several different chimes to choose from too, although the Westminster Quarters are my favourite. A few suggestions though, please give us the ability to add and or record our own sounds and chimes or add more chimes to the app. Also in your next update can you please add a pendulum sound to the app, I think this would make it sound more like an actual clock. ✓ Just the chimeI wanted something to make my phone ping/chime every hour so I didn’t loose track. Found this and paid 99p to enable me to set it up properly. Lots of choice for chimes and timing but opted for Westminster chimes on the half hour and bongs on the hour. At first I thought the chimes seemed a bit slow and would have liked the option to speed them up but after a couple of weeks they sound just right. It’s perfect and does exactly what it says it will. I have it running from 9 am to 5 p.m. but you can set whatever period you like. If you want to be able to know the hour without having to look at your phone then this is perfect. ✓ Extremely Useful.When you are listening to the radio on your ipad while in the shower or washing up and have wet hands but you have a meeting coming up and need to keep an eye on the tome without handling the device - you might have wet hands or washing up gloves on its extremely useful to have an audio clock that lets you know the time every so often. There used to be grandfather clock apps but they werent carried to the more recent iOS versions. This is the only one I know of. To conserve energy, turned off all the other phone functions such as Bluetooth, wireless, Siri, gps. Put it next to a broken antique clock on the mantel.
