✓ Amazing app I wish it had 2 thingsI would have rated this app 5 stars however I feel it falls short on two levels. Before I get to them I do want to say that I swear by this app and religiously have tracked my two vehicles information for well over 1.5 years. I will continue to use it. Now to the developers please add the following 1. Allow me to take a picture of my receipts for fuel, maintenance etc. and have those pictures sync to Dropbox with the vehicle info. This would be huge for me when the tax man comes knocking on my door and for expense reporting for business. 2. Why should I have to buy the app for both my iPhone and iPad? I understand cost in developing both apps but it would be nice to only have to buy it once. Or at least add more functions to the iPad as mentioned above..Version: 1.4
✓ Beautiful AppI've been using this app for a couple of years (60,000 miles, many road trips) and love it's implementation and it's performance. Very few apps are done this nicely. No crashes, anticipates functions I'll want, updated interface only gets better. Syncing works well. Simple data entry. Good for logging fuel purchase and great for stats on long term car costs and mileage. Ability to create custom trips and time periods works great. ✓ Great app!I’ve been using this app for years to track my wife’s car and my car. It’s helped me to save money at a mechanic when they recommend a service and all I need to do is consult my iPad (or iPhone). The downside is that the search function doesn’t touch the notes. So if you get 80,000 miles service completed, for example, you need to make a separate entry for each thing they do in order for it to pop up in search results. Since usually I go in for one thing at a time, that’s not that big of a deal for me..Version: 14.1
✓ SuperbBrilliant app for the iPad or the iPhone, just what I had been looking for and the latest update is just exactly what I asked for, not only does it provide me with the accurate statistics and graphs on how my car is performing when I fill up but it now also allows me to store and see how accurate (or how inaccurate in my case) my cars trip computer is. Ive stored my cars trip computer details (average MPG etc.) in the notes section from when I purchased this app many months ago just so one day I could enter them properly into the database and compare them to the actual data. I can now show at the cars next service just how much out the fuel economy figures are. My first service is due next week so just in time to show the garage some nice easily understandable graphs. Many thanks for providing the ability to do that. In my opinion its well worth every penny this app, the ability to store and analyse not only fuel economy but expense as well is brilliant. ✓ One of my very favourite apps comes to the big screen!I have been using the itouch/iphone Road Trip app for about the last 3 years and so have captured a lot of data. One of the disappointments of that version is the difficulty to view the graph in any detail. Well this version solves that, and takes it much further than I expected by showing the summary graph and then allowing you to see individual ones showing mpg, £/litre, £/per mile and miles per day. If you have been recording your location when you filled up it will even show them on a map. With the integration wi Dropbox it is so simple for me to sync my phone with this app. It is quite pricey by AppStore standards, but a lot of thought and effort has clearly gone into it and if you are like me and are rather partial to a "datagasam" then I highly recommend this app..Version: 1.0

✓ The Best!!I was a long time Gas Cubby then Fuelly user when Gas Cubby moved over. Really unhappy with the changes that affected my ability as a car enthusiast and detailed record keeper to maintain my vehicle records. I started searching for alternatives and found Road Trip HD. WOW! After I got all the records for my four cars imported and synced across my iPhone and iPad, I was stoked! ✓ Most useful app I own ...This is a 'must have' if you care about the costs of running your vehicle. I've used this now for almost three years, and have learnt a lot in regards to driving habits, costs of maintenance and regulatory costs as part of the overall cost. ✓ 2 versions - both greatI used a basic fuel monitor, but was aware of its limitations so looked for another and found Road Trip. I tried it in Lite version to get a flavour of it. It was so good that I bought both the iPad and iPhone versions. Easy input, good looking and with lots of other monitoring data. Syncs between both devices. The developer has said that automatic syncing is on the way. On top of that, great support. I created a problem, by my own error, and couldn't work out how to fix it. ✓ Great MPG and Maintenance AppI'm a big fan of this app and its iPhone partner. Sure it would have been nice to pay for one universal app, but this developer seems very dedicated to both of them and is responsive to questions and suggestions. The app is useful right out of the box, but it's also versatile enough to fully customize the maintenance schedules and gas inputs. I track MPG for different brands of gas, not just types of gas (I only use regular). I can see which brands run better in my vehicle. I also really like the trip reports, it helps my carve out my fuel vs. maintenance expenses for business trips, making my personal budgeting easier. I highly recommend checking this app out, and I have tried about 5 others. This update fixed my two minor complaints, which were auto-decimals and Dropbox syncing happening more quickly. This app meets the primary requirements and, as a plus, I can use it on my iPhone and it all syncs via Dropbox. Maintenance reminders - it's got them! Easy to set up and easy to use. Tracking fuel usage - check. Tracking repairs and maintenance expenses - check. Statistics on fuel mileage and cost per mile - check. Track multiple vehicles - check. Export to Excel -check. It could use a separate tab for setting up reminders since it loads them at the top of the expense tab. It could also use some predefined maintenance items that you can rename as you wish. ✓ Great app, superb support!I’ve been using Catamount’s MPG since back in the Newton days. Unfortunately, the upgrade to iOS 8 broke that app and I was suddenly stuck. I learned that Road Trip not only has a web app available to convert your data, but someone on the MPG forums said that Darren was very helpful in the transition. Fortunately, I had all my data on the iPad, but didn’t know how to read the sqlite database. I emailed Darren and within a day he replied that if I wanted to send him the sqlite data he’d convert it for me. So I did. It’s now been less than two days and I’m up and running on Road Trip and quite happy that I didn’t miss a beat with my motorcycle’s maintenance! I can’t recommend this app highly enough. If you’re coming from MPG, it’s a no-brainer. If you’re just looking to track your vehicle for the first time, it’s an obvious choice, and the fact that the developer is so thoughtful and available should make it a very clear choice of what to buy..Version: 1.4.1

Storing backups in the cloud allows it to be transferred from iPad to another iPad if you change or have stolen the iPad that you originally was using and this means you have not lost the data. ✓ Love the app - ask for one improvementVery good app. Looked at many available and pulled the trigger on this one. Don't regret it in the least. Feature I love the best - scheduled maintenance!! Our family normally kept all this info in written form. Great for keeping up with stuff but there was not a good system for looking into the future. I took the time to input all the data into Numbers (not a hard process at all - particularly with all the help on the web and in the app - great job on that front, developers!) I then imported everything into the app and was all set. I will say that I had to do it twice as I was learning the syntax for the columns and such but that's to be expected. I strongly recommend this if you're working for old, written data files. No need to lose that information. My suggestion for improvement - seamless syncing between devices. The whole "backup to Dropbox - merge between devices" is not best. When you merge entries, it does not delete old entries. For example, I recently replaced the engine air filter and logged it. When I merged the new entry (from the iPad to the iPhone), it kept the old entry and I still had a reminder that I needed to change my air filter. My workaround - just deleted the vehicle from the iPhone and download ALL entries from the iPad. Don't know how all the "cloud" software works but it seems that if you could put an entry on the iPad, it would automatically update the vehicle on the iPhone - and visa versa. I have this feature in several other apps so I know it's possible..Version: 1.0

✓ My go-to trackerI'm a huge fan of tracking everything about my vehicles and this app knocks it out of the park. It is rare to see a tracker that even calculates for jerry cans which is nice for off-road enthusiasts and the like. The data entry is as efficient as it gets especially on the iPhone version. I mainly use the iPad version when I'm home and want to review the statistics and look at the projected maintenance schedule. ✓ Great App to keep track of vehicle fuel and maintenance!I have been using this app for a good few years now, it's really great for keeping track of servicing costs and schedules as well as fuel. It offers so much including reminders as to when your car needs attention and average mpg calculations are all completed for you in text and graph. It can calculate the cost of trips for you specific to your car by using the data you have entered. Initially it takes time to set it up with all your car expenses but as long as you put decent data into it you get out decent information meaning you don't have to rely on your service schedule book or that little sticker the garage puts in your windscreen. There's so much more to it than I have written here but in my opinion it's well worth a look..Version: 12.0
