✓ An excellent tool for correcting and adjusting the look of videoThis is a great tool with a lot of adjustments (non subtle) that can help you achieve a look based on colors and intensity. The tool would be most useful if you could select key frames to make adjustments to and smoothly blend between the adjustments in key frames so as to tailor adjustments to suit footage where the lighting and exposures are changing in a way that is detrimental, or even for your own special effects. Either way, it is a very adept tool that is worth the price!.Version: 6.0.3
✓ Great appReally like this app, it makes a welcomed addition to the film app genre. I can now edit on my ipad when working with groups. The only reason I've given it 4 stars and not 5 is I would like to be ables to colour correct 1 clip at a time or be able to access my videos through the videos app instead of just the photos app. Otherwise one of the best apps I own. ✓ Just what I neededI came across VideoGrade while looking for a way to apply colour grading to the 4K video images I had filmed on my Mavic Pro. Of course, I could do this in Final Cut once I’m back home but I’m on a long trip with only my iPhone X for editing and I wanted to show the results to friends here. VideoGrade is easy to use and has many adjustments available. Contrary to a previous review, it can export the graded video in the original resolution (up to 4K), frame rate and compression. Needless to say, it’s easier to do colour grading on a bigger screen than an iPhone! Still VideoGrade offers the possibility to zoom in on specific parts of the frame to check the impact of the adjustments you are making. You can also split the frame in half, vertically or horizontally, to compare the look before and after the adjustment you are about to make. So thanks and congratulations to the developer. At the time of writing, the FAQ for the latest version is under construction but VideoGrade is intuitive enough and the extra trial and error allowed me to explore the grading results which each of the adjustments could achieve..Version: 6.0.4

✓ Potential to be really good...Remarks for photo editing only: I really like the UI and the functionality on much of what this app does (recognizing other, free apps do essentially the same things for pix) but am disappointed in certain things. My biggest gripe is that when you finish grading a still pic, that pic can be saved non-destructively, but you can only save at a reduced resolution. My 24 MP pix loose about 1/3 of their resolution. Trying to research if this is adjustable or not, I note there is no online user manual or even FAQ’s; those are still being developed. I ironically note you do have a “Tip Jar”...what is that for, really? What have you done to earn “tips”?.Version: 6.0.4

✓ Good appThis is a functional easy to use app for video editing. Playback in the app has no sound, but export to photos and there is your edited video complete with sound! Because I was quite happy with my music clips, I simply adjusted exposure and saturation, but they can be cropped to specific length and have different effects applied to different sections. Only 4 stars because it is quite expensive in comparison to other editing apps..Version: 3.1.0
✓ Excellent app, recommended.I've been using this for a while now and can attest to how good it is. Excellent control over the image with white balance, exposure and sharpness controls as well as many more adjustments to tweak the image. Only thing I would love in an update is a de-noise option but I imagine on small iPhone sensors that that is a very difficult thing to achieve without softening the image too much. ✓ Best Video Editing App - Wish List IncludedSo many options and it’s very well laid out. Very easy to use even if you’re not used to editing. Keep in mind this is to edit the look of one video. Contrast, colors, saturation’s, shadows, sharpness, etc... not multiple at one time. What it does, it does better than any other with no quality loss when you’re done which is huge. I’ve edited some large videos (over 2GB / 30 min long) with no crashing issues which is unheard of. All other apps have crashed on large files. With that said, I do have a wish list. ∙ Edits are for entire video. I wish I could edit parts of a video with different setting than others. ∙ No audio editing - Wish I could lower/raise volume or replace audio. Big wish would be ability to EQ audio. Raise bass or treble. I haven’t found an app that can do that. ∙ Edit and combine multiple videos. ∙ Crop Video - You can tilt video and straighten, but not crop or turn 90 degrees. ∙ Skin smoothing and ability to make faces skinnier - that’s a huge one. Mobiface has an app that does that better than any called retouch but is not available in US for some reason. That would be a HUGE add on as no apps in US allows that ability. Of course, if they did that, it would make it the perfect video editing app, and that can’t exist. 😂LOL🤣 To makers of this app, I think people would be willing to pay extra for this additions and you could easily raise price of app after that to $20 as there is nothing out there that does that and still is cheaper and more convenient than desktop app. Just my point of view. Either way, keep up the great work. I’m incredibly picky with apps, especially photo and video apps and rarely give 5 stars but this one deserves it..Version: 6.0.4

I spent a half a day looking for an app that would adjust the brightness on an already recorded video. Unfortunately I purchased 2 other apps that claimed to be able to do that before I found this one. Stupid me...lemme save YOU the trouble. this app DOES what it says it does. There were sooo many enhancements that I could make. Adjusting the temperature, brightness, contrast and saturation was awesome. For a few quid this grader does wonders for iOS video and provides most of the important colour and correction controls.. It's a no-brainer purchase really.. ✓ Great!I love this app, it really helps to improve my iPhone footage and the UI is really easy to navigate and use. A couple of things though, it would be nice to have some kind of de-interlacing feature to make the footage look more cinematic and I'm not so sure about the TV graphic and wooden floor used when previewing footage, it makes the app look a bit too 'cuddly' rather than what I think could be a serious bit of kit for the video enthusiast. If you want quality, you need one of the two iOS editors, iMovie or Pinnacle, a few cool filters, and especially this. ✓ The best colour grading app out there!I am such a big fan of Video Grade. I use it on every video I produce with my iPhone. It handles very nicely, it's very straightforward and quick to learn, it's not just a bunch of presets like other colouring apps and it give you full control over the RGB values as well as highlights and shadows. The only reason I'm giving this 4/5 stars is that I would love to see a "save custom preset" option within the app. Apart from that I do not have a bad word to say about it and have recommended the app to lots of people..Version: 4.0.3

I have been using it to clean up some video of interviews and I am moving towards music video work, so this app is going to really come in handy to create certain moods and vibes. I recommend this app to anyone serious about video editing. The reason why I gave it four stars is because it would be nice to be able to switch between the edited video and it's original to compare. ✓ Can be so much betterHi, I have been looking for a video editor like this for so long. This app is close to what I had in mind but there is still room for improvement. There are some features that I wished the app had such as extensive hue control over the video (like in photoshop/Lightroom for photos when you can target a certain color and change the hue of only that certain color not the whole frame), or some cool presets to try on. ✓ Proper video grading without reducing quality AT LAST!!This is it! The final missing piece to quality video production on the iPhone. I have been hunting for video grading that I could add to my videos without the application reprocessing the video first therefore reducing the quality before starting to grade the footage, but this keeps the quality and used clips directly from the camera role.
