✓ Ok I guessIt's pretty good, probably the best on iPhone but that isn't really saying much. There is no way to pin point a certain colour and apply effects, you can only do the image as a whole. For example if you wanted to make the popular effect of a black and white scene with one thing in full colour, that is impossible with this app..Version: 4.0.3

✓ Please Fix!This app was Great until IT STOPPED WORKING! It now says that the export process has failed every time! Please fix and I will than give it five stars..Version: 1.1.1
✓ No good for underwater fottageThe algorithums of this software can't cope with the extreme greens in underwater footage and cannot compensate with enough magenta. The red channel doesn't respond well. Grated underwater footage tends to look yellow - blue duo tone, with little or no red channel. I get better results with other software unfortunately..Version: 5.1.0

✓ Don't botherBarely worth one star. Not intuitive no clear instruction and functionality poor. Editing tool really hit and miss setting a start and end point to an edit is give or take 60 seconds, there is no preview function so you have to just hope. Also, no audio so again never sure if you are editing at the right point. None of the icons are clear or intuitive and whilst the woefully inadequate instructions do suggest you select a button or tab to complete a task, once back in the editing window none of the buttons are labelled so your still in the dark. An hour of my life and £2.99 I will never see again..Version: 2.0.0
✓ Great editing features, but not suitable for UHD gradingFirst things first, the good points: in short, this is the VSCO of video editing (until they release the alpha of theirs, anyway). The tools are quality, and the before/after overlays and live clipping analytics are truly helpful. However, if you're going to the effort to grade your footage – for example, after recording in Filmic Pro – you'll likely want to import and export the highest quality clips. Unfortunately, VideoGrade will only import from the camera roll, which means your video will already have had some compression applied. What's more, the save to iCloud Drive option on export doesn't work, meaning you can only save to the camera roll. The biggest issue though, is the bitrate capping. Regardless of your initial bitrate (and lots of video apps enable you to record at around 100Mbps), you can only export at 50Mbps. Consider how affected your pristine 4K 100Mbps footage will look after two rounds of compression and a 50% reduction in bitrate. All in all, this is a truly pro quality colour grading app, with import and export options not fit for purpose. I'm watching the next update with interest, because as soon as these issues are addressed, I'll be repurchasing the app and singing its total praises..Version: 5.1.0
✓ Useless for Instagram unfortunatelyVideos are useless for Instagram unfortunately. No matter what you do it shows up as a big blank square in your feed ..Version: 8.0
✓ Squashes/compresses video.I bought this today. Tried several videos. One batch when saved , turned out compressed..ie distorted/narrowed. Also a new file name is generated with no option to change. Tried to contact the developer to refund as a lot of videos I want to grade obviously cannot be used as they cannot be saved. The ‘contact the developer’ link does not work. ✓ Don't waste your moneyTerrible app pretending to be good. First of all it has a destructive workflow, meaning if you push a value outside the range it is gone forever. On top of this it in general has terrible colour math, like using a lift (add) instead of gamma for brightness and the "restore" feature is pointless because of the destructive workflow. For example if I expose up my footage a lot I can't "restore" the colour information in my highlights even though they were there originally..Version: 4.0.3

✓ Exporting cuts off right side of videoGreat editing tools - however, useless once exporter. Any landscape video that is processed through VideoGrade is compiled and the right side of the video is blurred and unappealing. Hopefully they can figure this out!.Version: 4.0.3
✓ Lip sync and frame rate issueI get slight lip sync issues with clips processed in the very latest and last versions of VideoGrade. Also and perhaps related, despite recording at 25fps VideoGrade tells me I can only save the clip at 24fps - shooting with Filmic Pro 5 on iPhone 5s with latest IOS 10 version. ✓ Not what I expected for the priceWould be nice to have an HSL control. This seems like brightness adjustment app at best. Would also be nice to have a curves panel. I was hoping there would be a little more control of color and levels. Disappointing for the price..Version: 6.0.4

✓ Good app but crashes a lotThis app has lots of potential and would give it 5 stars , however, it keeps on crashing when previewing changes to the effects . This means that you might have spent good amount of time perfecting your grading and then you have to start from scratch. It doesn't even let you save the settings. ✓ Ruins my footageDO NOT BUY. This app destroys my footage to the point it’s unusable. Ran a 1min clip through this and LumaFusion to compare and the results are worlds apart. This app is a disgrace. Pixelation, noise, muddy saturation. Utter rubbish..Version: 7.0.0
✓ N E E D S M O R E!!!It’ll be perfect if it had an HSL, i’d like to be able to manipulate the Hue’s, Saturation and the Luminance of individual colors (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Aqua, Blue, Purple and Magenta) pretty much Something similar to every other color grading software..Version: 6.0.4
✓ Not working with IPhone 12 pro maxIt’s a great app, but not currently compatible with iPhone 12. If you adjust the brilliance at all it makes large black pixels throughout the video. Hopefully the developers see this review and realize it’s an issue..Version: 8.0
✓ Pretty good when it worksI’d been using this app to test out a concept I had in my head, and I found myself frustrated by the app constantly freezing when getting to a certain point. It was only by trial and error that I realized it was due to holding my phone in the landscape position. This should probably be fixed in future updates..Version: 6.0.4
