✓ Cute but could be betterI looked at all of the money games carefully before deciding on this one. It's cute and kept my child's attention. However, there are several things that could be improved in the app. The relative sizes of the coins should be more life like. The visual representations make it difficult to tell them apart. There is a heavy use of half dollar and dollar coins which we really don't see much of, I'd prefer to see a heavier usage of the quarter, dime, nickel and penny. (the sizes and types of coins are the two reasons are why I gave it 3 stars...) Lastly, when you get to the fridge at the end, I don't much see the point of this and it's hard to tell what to do when you get there. (there's a refresh icon in the upper left corner that brings you back to the first screen.) Why not have a persistent menu button? All that said, it is a practical and cute way for kids to learn how to count change for purchases..RemmiSloVersion: 1.2

✓ Good starter appThis app keeps my 3year olds attention which is a plus. ✓ What's with the $ coin?I bought this app for my 6 year old. It's engaging and she enjoys it, but it is confusing her since the sizes of the coins need to be more true to life...they are too similar. Also, the $ coin looks too much like a penny for early learners. ✓ Waiting for improvementI love the game. It's a great way for my daughter to practice. However, after several tries, this game seems to repeat the same problems over and over making it unchallenging. Doesn't offer different levels. The app can be a bit confusing for five and six year olds as it almost immediately jumps into solving mathematical problems with coin. The use of half dollar and whole dollar coin can throw the youngsters off. I have to do the math while getting her to figure the value- relation of the coin. As result, a nickel can easily be confused with the quarter as they appear almost the same size on the screen. The coins should be their actual size. ✓ Good but.....This is a good app for those who already have a good knowledge of coins and how to count them. It's not appropriate for beginners as some of the problems are difficult.
