✓ Definitely understand/dissatisfyingIt’s sad to say that I’ve been playing this game since it first came out and I’ve repeatedly uninstalled/reinstalled........ it’s a great game with great art and dragons but ever since they came up with all these new dragons and events it’s hard to catch up. It’s a fact that they’re out for money and to have the best dragons in the game you literally have to be pay to win, every dragon I have in my game I’ve bred and waited for hours to hatch and I’m lvl 124. The events are impossible to beat unless you use gold and to make matters unfair they pair you with people who use money to win the event when those people should be paired with other gold users. The bingo has no point and to be honest it’s ridiculous trying to get stardust so you can craft a dragon that’s requiring so much of it.... seriously 1600 to craft and ultra rare??? That’s a joke and so is the ticket temple as well as charging us gold to use a second breeding den. I see that it’s a business and you guys have to make money but if it keeps on going like this players aren’t going to want to continue to play :/ so fix it and be fair to the people who aren’t using gold to win events.BatshitcrayVersion: 2.9

✓ Constantly crashes.This app constantly crashes. The creators removed the ability to Quest for gold ages ago and never replaced it. Now the only options are to use actual money to buy fake “gold”. Gag. I’m at level 200 and the game is entirely too monotonous. That, coupled with the app crashing all the time and the annoying pop-ups and ads, and I can’t recommend this game at all. ✓ VideoI have had the game for years. I had stopped playing because I never got anywhere and it got frustrating. I started playing again but the event are difficult. As part of the chapter event you have to breed a dragon that is hard to get in the meantime the event is ticking on. Last chapter event I had to breed my special event dragon with a dragon I didn’t have so I gave up on the event. I wish we could pick from a list of what we want to earn for taking the time to watch a video. That list also needs to be able to be changed as we progress in the game. I have tried for diamond dragon and have failed. Now I see I can get the Neo diamond with adventure tickets. So I watch videos hoping to get adventures tickets and only get coins or food. There both good but not what I want. I want the adventure tickets, I watch video saying I could get them or a mystery item. I always get the mystery item as coins or food..JemlelaVersion: 2.7.0.1

✓ Well, I See I’m Not AloneGetting booted (lost connection) every single time I go in to the game. Prices are ridiculous - for everything. Quests are almost impossible to complete. ✓ Clearing out items not neededWish I could get rid of excess items that are collected in battles and the games. They are useless and irritating to have. Why do you keep having games where we end up having to spend gold to complete them? Like the current one. And why can’t you put in the comments for each dragon on how to breed them? Like the current common one - ghoul and pink? If you want it you have to buy it. All habitats should be expandable so that you can get 5 dragons on each one. I have over 7,000 pieces of marble - you only need 5 pieces to create a slab which takes 24 hours. It takes me 60 plus days to get enough slabs to expand. I have tons of dragons in storage and nowhere to put them especially as I can’t expand my habitats or my land. To sum up I love the dragons but not spending all the gold..SorkaFaranthVersion: 3.0.5

✓ Frustrating and annoyingToo expensive to buy the dragons that are available and too slow to collect the gold from neighbours. If you follow the type of dragons that are required to breed a particular dragon you end up with some rubbish common dragon that sells for half the breeding cost. Now I am inundated with pop up adds at every twist and turn, if I don’t watch them then they should be programmed off of my game. ✓ Good, but used to be much betterI remember this game being really fun and enjoyable whenever a new dragon type or dragon design would come out, now they’re all pretty much the same just with reskins and color changes for the most part. Also so many of the new dragons aren’t even breedable! Like there is constantly dragons released monthly and once their events end no way of getting them unless you pay gold or use enchantment. Another issue is the saturation of “common” dragons for each event, which is really lazy since they are cheap gold producers and really a waste on habit space. Overall, the game is still decent, but the issues stated are critical to why this game is not as great as it was years ago. A suggestion would be either to start making newer dragons breedable or make enchantment easier to obtain since 1600,800,400 takes way too long to get for just a single dragon!!!.Angel011101010Version: 3.0.5

✓ Could be Fun but....too difficult to get food and gold which you need!!!Easy to get coins which are basically useless, and way too hard to get food and gold which you need to win the challenges. Seems this game is designed to require the serious player to spend real money to buy the gold and food needed in the game. I quit playing because I can’t afford to spend that much real money to play. I only play now to send my tiny amount of gold allowed to gift my neighbors who continue to play. Can only send one piece per day to three neighbors. Yet dragons and their habitats cost thousands of pieces of gold. ....just no way to get anywhere in the game without spending a lot of real cash!!! ✓ Fun until I realised I would have to pay money to unlock the next type of dragonWhen I first started this game I thought it would be fun, but the game only supplies you with 12 gold bars which run out in The first level of the game because hatching dragons, breeding dragons and buying habitats takes more than 12 hours. I was willing to put up with the fact that it took a day to make any single progress in this game but then when I reach level 10 I get excited to unlock the next dragon, the magic dragon only to discover it cost 500 or 600 gold. I can’t find any other way to get gold in this game without making an expensive purchase. The game also keeps on showing me adds which is annoying but the game also keeps giving me quests to download their other games which is irritating beyond repair. ✓ Greedy GreedyWhat used to be a challenging yet fun game has become a money grabbing repetitive series of events riddled with glitches including constant rollbacks that often cost battle victories and event prizes. It appears the Game Owners prime consideration is making money. Of course players should pay something for the game experience however it has now become almost impossible to successfully participate in events without paying real money. Unfortunately there is little evidence that player fees are being poured back into the game as many many players have no room to expand and so are stuck in limbo. Worst of all is the fact that no one seems to care. Comments, questions and concerns raised in player forums go unanswered and barely an event is launched without some sort of glitch happening. As no support is available over weekends, by the time the glitch is fixed players are often too far behind to finish. ✓ Abandoned by developersThis used to be a great and fun game. It has been abandoned by developers in terms of growth. No new updates, no bug fixes except for new pumping out cash grab dragons have been put out for years. But worst of all is the lack of land. No advances in land updates have been in 5 years since the marble key island release in 2017. The owners of this game should be disgusted with themselves for abandoning the development of such a popular game. Shame on them. It’s why I left. I keep checking back every so often to see if they will give an update, but sadly they have made it quite clear, they do not care about this game. They only care about your money. ✓ Screaming Loud AdsIncessant obnoxious intrusive loud flashing ads that never stop. These stupid ads even broke through the silence on my phone and started screaming. Now I have to silence and turn volume down because some how they break through my silence on iPhone. Then I forgot to turn volume back up and later miss important call, just ridiculous. Lengthy ridiculous ads make game play time consuming and confusing because they come right in the middle of an important action causing you to loose track of which habitat your dragon went to before the obnoxious ad butted in for way too long. They come often and at terrible times during game play. You can’t even pay to get rid of them. Makes the game unpleasant to play. The ads take making revenue to a new obnoxious height. Many tricks and traps to make you accidentally spend gold that your either gifted, win, or purchase. Such as putting buttons in places to make you accidentally touch and buttons popping up to spend gold at times you would be clicking on the screen. Not really fun. Absolutely no organization or alphabetized storage items or dragon codex. Difficult to find anything due to this disorganization. I only pop in every so often and play for a few minutes to collect money, evolve, or breed and even in those few minutes the ads are obnoxious and irritating. ✓ Very disappointedI really use to enjoy this game, spent money and lots of time on it. But between the crashing and manipulation of it, it's gone down the drain. Tournaments are no longer fun when your spending 1 and 2 days just on one round. The value packs are outrageously priced now and trying to breed for the new dragons are impossible unless you spend gobs of money. No game should bring this much dissatisfaction for a player. Don't get me wrong, when I first started playing, it was so interesting and a nice challenge, now the events are geared so you are forced to spend gold/money if you want to accomplish any of the major events. If you just want to breed dragons, your good to go. The problem is...every time I visit players with higher level, I get kicked out before I even start playing. ✓ Rubbish.The game was good and I enjoyed playing it until the makers got greedy. They massively increased the prices of things. They then made it stupidly difficult to get dragons in quests. Majorly moving the goals so that they are pretty much impossible to attain without spending a lot of money. They also stopped then email system to contact them and do not ever reply with a response when you contact them. Rude, greedy and don’t care about their game users. ✓ Used to be fun.I’ve been playing this game since day one. It began so much fun! It slowly started adding the challenges and battle tournament. They were challenging but you won more times then you failed. Same with the leadership board you were able to get the milestones all the way to the end. The community challenge was so much fun but you were always able to complete it at last second. The only ads you had were from watching videos for mystery prizes or for taking an hour off battles to get to the next level quicker. Now the only way you can win any of the challenges is if you spend money. Don’t get me wrong I know it takes money to keep the game up and running smoothly. Just don’t make the game so impossible to win that you have to buy gold bars or extra leadership points to win! I went from getting all the milestones on the leadership challenges to being lucky if I can get the second to last. The community challenge are so rare your lucky if you get two a month and your lucky if you get the points to get community rewards and the tournaments I have multiple diamonds and multiple champions at level 15 but when a level 4 common dragon takes out three champions at 15 something changed. Make a extra reward system for people to buy into that has rare prizes a diamond or champion dragon or even an ultra rare habitat to win if they buy into it. ✓ Dragon Story Did Me Dirty + Update Ideas1. I've been a long time player of this game but the new update is blatantly unfair. I don't mind players paying to get ahead, but the game should not match people paying for boosts with those who aren't. Competitions are impossible to win because people in my rank are paying for triple boosts and are acquiring 10,000 crowns within the first 3 days. At that point I don't even want to try and earn crowns through breeding, evolving, etc. If someone buys a boost they should be matched up with other boosting players. 2. I recently download Fantasy story so this tip applies to both: Let us sort dragons by subcategory. The market is a mess. If you can select a fire type then right next to it you should be able to select a secondary gem to making dragons easier to find. 3. It would be nice if there was a "select all" button for requesting maps from neighbors. I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't want to request maps from everyone. At level 98 in the game you need 60+ neighbors in order to get enough maps for expansion and manually selecting 60+ people everyday is unnecessarily tedious. Like I said I've had this game for several years and never had a problem with it until now. Please consider these updates as I'm sure I'm not the only one having these problems. The thing is that I would be happy to buy gold until I do the math and realize that some dragons can cost well over $100 each to feed and evolve. It’s just not worth investing in at all. I’m sure I speak for a lot of people when I say, we could do without all the relentless pop up ads. I'm good at the former but not the latter, which makes it very frustrating especially on the Bingo game and other events where it's nearly impossible to progress without spending actual money. Not to mention it is extremely difficult to earn gold! ✓ Problems - Not Getting BetterThere are a lot of problems with this. I’ve been playing for many years now, first starting on this game and then the Spring themed one, before I returned back to the original Dragon Story. Compared to then and now a lot of things have changed, and not in a good way. For one, there are continuous, non skippable ads that pause you and have you read through small side missions. I’m meaning that if you aren’t quick to tap at something then you’ll be bombarded with at least five ads. Another problem is the fact that each time you do a ‘major’ thing such as hatching an egg, completing or sending a dragon to evolve, breeding or finish breeding a pair of dragons an ad will appear. This never happened in the previous games those many years ago, especially with the continuous ones. Another problem would be the gold, you never get gold. After getting back onto Dragon Story I accidentally used mine to finish a farm grow it’s crops. Ever since then I never have been given the opportunity of gold. Not only do you need gold to get special habitats but also special dragons. Another problem would be when visiting another person’s island, a continuous glitch would happen where all the trees and shrubbery are in the way of the dragon’s habitats. Not too sure if it’s me or for everyone else as well These are only a few problems I can plainly identify, I ask of you to please fix these problems, make it easier for us to get and use gold without paying a fortune, and tone down on the ads.Tav VZVersion: 3.0.5

✓ ImpossibleI never get to finish the goals because the time frame is too short. It’s not as if you can spend some gold to catch up (which I have) Got me no where. I would have to spend hundreds of dollars to complete tasks. If you just want to breed and feed, it’s ok, but anything else about the game is totally frustrating and unattainable. Other games give free gold occasionally. You don’t get a thing with this game. If you have 3 good neighbours who gift every day, you can earn a whole 3 x gold a day. ✓ Fun with a couple flawsThe good news is, it's rather fun and addictive with a lot of cool dragons and habitats, plus competitive events and other niches like battles that make the game fun to learn about and let you win cute special dragons. The bad news is, you will never have all or even most of the the dragon types, and that's my big disappoinment. Many rare ones can't be bred. They must be either crafted for an exorbitant amount of dragon essence (which takes 8 hours a piece to get) or bought for an average of 400 "gold," which is actual money, bit currency you earn in the game. 500 costs $20, so figure you are paying $20 for some of the dragons, with the rarest ones costing almost $200 (4,000 gold) - ridiculous! The other activities, such as breeding, habitat building, hatching eggs, also take several hours each on average. The gold unfortunately isn't freely given or won during the game, but a little patience with watching ads and spinning the wheel during special events gets you generous rewards in food and game currency. ✓ It’s a good game, but...I’ve played this game for a very long time, and I’ve always loved it. There are a few things that tend to make me mad, though. The insane gold price to dragon price ratio kept one thing... but I won’t even get into that. Battling. ✓ Fun but very frustrating.I just started playing Dragon Story and love it! But the more I play the more frustrating it gets. Here’s some of the reasons why: 1. Firstly, breeding is totally random. You’d think that putting green and yellow together would make a green/yellow type dragon but it’s totally random. I’ve tried breeding my Olympus dragon with just a simple green or red dragon to make a mix of the two and just kept getting an Olympus dragon over and over again. I finally gave up. 2. Unless you want to spend loads of your hard earned cash, you have to wait around for ages to get anywhere, anytime soon. I find the waiting times for anything to happen really frustrating and I’m definitely starting to lose interest as the wait times increase. 3. As loads of other reviews have said - the weekly competitions are almost impossible to totally complete unless your gonna spend a heap of money on gold or you’re a really advanced level already. 4. There’s no search ability in the dragon codex which makes it frustrating when you’re looking for a certain dragon and have to scroll for miles before you find what you’re after. Overall, it’s a fun game but their entire focus is on getting you to spend money. ✓ Money-grabberUsed to be enjoyable but now so blatantly money grabbing that there’s little point playing. I refuse to spend my hard earned cash on something so unfairly unbalanced, especially when Storm8 response to any issue is it’s the players fault (or just ignore it). I have a brand-new high spec iPad, as well as a high spec broadband connection and as I’ve been playing for several years now, am quite a high level; game still crashes and resets off their server. I don’t get these issues with any other game. I no longer bother with any of the island events (which are back to back, and sometimes even overlap) because there’s no way to finish any of them without spending real money. Shame, because that used to be a fun part, but then you used to get a few weeks between events. I don’t do the battle arena because I don’t have high enough dragons to defeat opponents, I don’t do the bingo leagues because I don’t have a lot of the dragons needed for some of the tasks (and they’re always in a spot on the board that will prevent you getting a line). Expanding takes 3 days at a time, mined dragons leave before you get all the parts needed (even with constantly having a dragon evolving). And now you can’t even trade dragons for gems to craft gemstone dragons (which I had been saving duplicates for); instead you get essence to craft dragons from - except that the only dragons worth keeping for that are ultra rare ones (giving 100 essence) as most dragons are 400+ essence to craft)..MrMeldrewVersion: 2.8.0.1

Second, when you go to buy boost after saving up forever to get gold most times you have to buy it twice because the first time never counts but they still take your gold. Again, it takes forever to earn gold so they have truly set it up for you to purchase items. Breeding, be prepared to breed the same eggs over and over!!! Not only will you breed the same egg a bunch it takes for ever for them to hatch. Then to feed them be prepared to need a bunch of food to feed them after stage 10. After finishing an event in second place I was bumped off a few seconds before event ended and have not been able to load the game since. Because my level is maxed at 200, 58+ million coins, over 170,000 food, and 1200 gold, the game continuously prevents me from logging in to the game with the online issue pop up. I play on my iPad, and out of curiosity, I found that the game will load on my cell phone, but since you cannot play the same game ID on 2 devices, it does not help. I've sent numerous tickets to support, and they just send a message saying the team is working on the issue and my ticket is listed as Resolved, and said to routinely check for game updates. What a joke, last update was over 3 years ago. They have been working on this same issue for YEARS!! Is the team stupid or just lazy?
