✓ Mac incompatibleI installed this on my MacBook Pro. Problem. Tuning in ABC Classic caused the app to take control of the computer. It ignored the plugging in of headphones and the computer volume and mute controls. However, on ABC Classic 2 everything worked normally. Tried many other stations and some produced the first result and some the second. Discussed it with my tech consultant and he advised me to uninstall it immediately. I tried updating the OS but it made no difference. The computer is only about two years old. Money wasted. I would like a refund..Version: 8.1.1

✓ UK stations now no longer available in the UK (updated review)Update: well, the UK stations are back but now lots (but not all) non-UK stations have gone missing again. It’s not as if I’m generally looking to listen to current commercial music from elsewhere, many of my favourite stations are playing “old time“ US programs such as Dragnet, etç. What’s more, the implementation is inconsistent – I do have a small number of modern, albeit rather obscure, non-UK music stations in my favourites list, a couple of which I can still play while others are now barred. Really sad that what was previously an excellent app has been ruined. I guess I will have to look for a new app. ———— Previously: Since the latest update (12 November) the situation in the UK has changed - again… Before this latest update I could listen to UK stations but not anything else - not good but better than nothing. But after this latest update I can listen to everything BUT the UK stations, even though I am in the UK. Like others I really like this app – much better than some of the other so-called leading radio apps. But something has gone seriously wrong over the last month or so. ✓ Overseas Stations No Longer AccessibleI’ve loved this App for a long time, it has always been my regular go-to for international news. However, recently any attempt to listen to an overseas station is blocked with a “not available in your location” message. It’s such a shame! ✓ Latest update brokeWith this latest update the app for the first time won’t launch on iOS 12.5.5 Splash screen shows and then the app just vanishes. Was working great. Wished I didn’t install this latest version and will have to find alternative. Don’t risk the upgrade for now if you are on older iOS version. Giving it a second star as it still works on my iPad. ✓ Constant buffering problems & useless customer support teamI am predisposed to love this app. User-friendly interface, broad integration with iOS shortcuts and CarPlay, everything is set up for a very well-spent $3. However, in this app, the NPR streams I listen to most regularly have constant buffering problems. (Yesterday this happened five times within 15 minutes.) The app almost never manages to recover the stream and quietly gives up. Occasionally this involves the app shutting down in the background. I have tried to use it on both iPhone and iPad Pro, and to address their response below, yes, I have used it both with low power mode on and off. There’s no difference. After a protracted email exchange with customer service, here is what I received: “As we already said, our applications works well on a regular phone without any interruptions We're sorry you're having this kind of problem but we don't know what can be the problem in this case.” It seems that the developer stands behind the perfect app they think they’ve designed, but will not and cannot provide support for the imperfect, buggy app that they actually sell..Version: 7.1.2

✓ Good, but needs debuggingI have been using this App on a near daily basis for many years, and on the whole, it is excellent. The user-friendly interface and the availability of foreign stations not available on other Apps is commendable. Since the release of iOS-15, however, it has been less than entirely satisfactory, when the phone is docked into CarPlay. Whilst the latest patch has restored one’s ability to stream music through CarPlay, it is currently not able to stop and resume playback at the user’s wishes: The only way currently to stop or resume streaming via CarPlay is to switch between different Apps. This lingering issue relative to iOS-15 makes for a clunky and annoying user experience. The sooner this App is patched to iOS properly, such that full CarPlay use ability is restored, the better. When this happens, I will be glad to award the full five stars that this App would ordinarily deserve..Version: 8.1
✓ International StationsThis was my favourite radio app until all the international became unavailable to UK users. Their email response to me stated it was due to legal reasons and didn’t know if they would ever return. Having paid for this app I feel ripped off because it is now useless to me. When the app is open it directs the ‘music volume’ into the ‘navigation volume’’. From that moment on you can only turn up and down the sound of the navigation system like Waze or Google Maps. Latest update 8.2.1 restores UK stations for UK listeners but removes international ones again! ✓ Does its job but with bugs and imperfectionsCluttered and confusing interface until you get used to it, and keeps starting me off with Fox News (the last thing I want to hear) if I don't have the "Favorites" tab open on start up. But it does do its job of making countless streaming radio stations available to you, and if you stock your Favorites list correctly, the result is very usable on the phone itself. But there are bugs: It is not ready for CarPlay under iOS 15, which displays the app as always, but complains that it cannot find any data. Also, it somehow convinces iOS 14 and 15 that it is your preferred music player. So if you say to Siri "Play X", it will report back that it cannot find X in MyTuner Pro. You have to say explicitly "Play X in Apple Music" to work around that..Version: 7.8.2
