Visual Anatomy Lite for Positive User Reviews

Ease of useGreat app, it has everything about anatomy that I can teach my grandchildren about their body..Version: 4.7

Great help for anatomy and physiology! This app overall has been helpful with making flash cards for my A&P class however, the interface is a little confusing at times to navigate, I bet it’s better if upgraded to the paid version..Version: 5.2

Amazing app! This app is awesome! great for anyone who wants to learn about the human body either for personal use or anyone who is or wanting to be in the medical industry..Version: 4.3

Visual AnatomyJust Amazing I absolutely love this app, super diagrams, everything is explained clearly without getting to complex, in my opinion this the best medical app on the market..Version: 4.3

Easy to use and freeI’m sure the paid for version is much deeper and rounded, but this free version is perfect for my learning the muscles and anatomy..Version: 4.6

Great for working outI downloaded this app for working out. I was not sure of all the muscle groups. Problem solved. So far I love everything about it..Version: 5.2

Awesome appLove this app. As a quick reference or more detailed info when needed. Easy to find what you are looking for quickly. Graphics are also excellent..Version: 4.6

When I need info fastExtremely fast to open and view content. Faster than more expensive and more detailed apps. Front to back viewing of major body parts. Have used for the last 4 years and plan to continue.Version: 4.6

Great app for the basicsI've used this app when teaching Body Systems to my year 8 class. It really helps engage and consolidate their learning of the topic..Version: 4.3

PerfectThis app does exactly what is outlined in its description. Clean, organized and accurate. This app is a great resource especially for traveling (yes, you may leave your little ANATOMY textbook at home). It is quick and accessible whenever you need. V-Happy.Version: 4.3

A real fund of useful informationSo simple to use and so full of vital information..Version: 5.2

Exceptional informativeI am using this as an additional study aid. It is perfect with the content as it has summary information to help with the learning experience. My favourite part, it's free..Version: 4.3

Great app but needs sound.Love the diagrams - very well visualised. Would be so much better if the app spoke the names of the muscles etc. when you highlight them as some of the Latin names are tricky to pronounce. Other than that it's a great app!.Version: 4.3

InstructorThis app has helped so many of my students. Anytime they have questions I refer them here to reinforce their knowledge. It’s a little challenging to navigate at the beginning however if you use it everyday it’s easy to navigate! I wish I would have had an app like this when I was in school! Thank you.Version: 5.2

ReviewReally really helpful.Version: 4.3

Nice!Great app! Would love more quizzes, and if they could be a bit more detailed by putting more things in such as the glenoid cavity and foramen etc, that would be even more wonderful. But very helpful nonetheless. Thanks!.Version: 4.3

Nice appQuiz is a little too easy but I like the flashcard concept :-) good pictures to educate patients..Version: 4.3

Best anatomy appHelped me so much with my studies, def getting the full version, worth it.Version: 4.3

Excellent appI have used several apps to assist me with my massage therapy studies and this was easily the best. Detailed yet easy to navigate round.Version: 5.1

Great detailDetail is fantastic. Amazing app. Quiz is pretty easy that could be expanded on..Version: 4.3

Truly helps to Visualize where things areI use the app to focus on problem areas. It definitely helps..Version: 4.3

The Best Anatomy App I haveGrays Anatomy has pics you can't click on. If you click on 3D human, it gives you names and hi descriptions. Clicking on visAnatomy also gives you a short description. The only way to make it better would be to make it interactive..Version: 4.6

Thank u for this appYou the best.Version: 4.6

HappyThis is a good app. It's not as detailed as a high-level anatomy class, but it's definitely worth having. It has the major organs, the muscles, nerves and bones, but it does not offer things like the anatomy of the brain. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised to find the anatomy of an eye, which is very useful. Get it!.Version: 4.3

GoodReally helpful!!.Version: 4.3

Sooo usefulHelped me so much in my anatomy class.Version: 4.3

Good knowledge foundationJust using the free content. However although not extensive information, the free version covers the basics, and helps me pinpoint what muscles are sore, and need of stretching..Version: 5.1

Good but needs improvingThumbnails of muscles very hard to click on. Quiz was better on old version, you could pick which group or whole body and it would randomly ask which muscle is which, please bring this back!!!!.Version: 4.3

Great app!Excellent for learning a lot before starting A&P. Working on getting my Bachelors (BSN) and this has been very helpful for refreshing for exams throughout the semester! There is a lot more pinned & labeled than we go over in lab or lecture, but every professor and University is different so I feel this will be helpful across the board. Also great to have on the phone to keep the memory sharp. Give it a try. You can't beat free and if you don't like it, just remove it. But I think you will be happy with this app..Version: 4.6

I like it!This app seems easy to use and the images are clear, after 30 mins of looking around I am happy with the quality so far!.Version: 4.3

Really usefulI'm using this app to help me remember muscles I learnt a very long time ago for the purpose of massage treatments. I'm finding it useful as it's quick and straightforward. I wish there was sound to actually hear the muscle names.....just to help lodge it in my memory!.Version: 4.3

Amazing! I wish I had this when I was in school! This app is amazing! Great vibrant pictures, I like how you can use the stylus to point at muscles to find more information about. Be proactive and download this!.Version: 4.3

My Panchita !!!! No more amphitheaterI am a Honduran physician graduated in 1992; I wish I had this great tool Back in my student's day, I had a cadaver, her name was "Panchita." This app is as interactive as my Panchita." I had to stay late at night in the amphitheater to study/review material before test; but now you can do it from your cozy home.Version: 4.3

Physio studentI’m all about the muscles and bones as a physio student I have to know them all. This is a great app for quick study spinning picture and precise information, having the associated nerves is a bonus. I just need the associated blood supply and it would be perfect..Version: 4.6

Great app!!Would like some updated visuals to help better see what you are looking at but other than that it’s an amazing studying tool!.Version: 5.2

Perfect !Follows right along what you learn in anatomy, physiology, and nursing school. I would make the 3D models a little More touch friendly, but other than that, this app is perfect to use along with your books and notes. 😊.Version: 4.3

Avg Person LOVE this app for Wellness.Im not a professional, nurse or student in any industry for the body. I just have health issues; with gallbladder, shattered tibia, muscle imbalances, bitten by a dog in my hand, teeth issues, neck and ear tension, vertebras fused… and probably much more issues. I can visually see how my hands get numb connected the necks spinal nerves. Or discover what the aching spots in my sternum could be. I use the terms to understand my own body better. As an artist too you can see the muscle structures. Knowledge is power. I’m quite the slow learner too, so no, you don’t have to be doctor to understand. The design isn’t the prettiest, but the knowledge is way more important. I love the pin notes..Version: 5.5

Awesome appI use this app to study Bio with my daughter. She is in 7th grade and we were studying the Respiratory System. The app really helped us see the various parts visually and helped us better understand the functions..Version: 4.6

A very handy appNeed to know a bit about your body… dealing with an injury… or trying to understand internal makings of the body then this app is excellent! I use it very often and love its ease of use together with pinpoints for accuracy..Version: 5.5

Lite version is so great! This app helped me so much! It was much easier to diagram all of the muscles in the human body using this app in full color rather than the few black & white illustrations in my text book..Version: 4.6

Allied health assistant & PilatesFantastic app for reference. Easy to use and love the clarity of the app..Version: 5.0

Handy little toolUse this app to show my patients some basic anatomy and to reinforce my explanation as to what and why they need to exercise that particular muscle/joint. Great app!.Version: 4.3

Really Handy AppIf your not a Doctor, this App will guide you through just about Every part of your body. The 3D effect, makes it Very interesting and Fun to learn. I WOULD recommend this for Everyone..Version: 5.1

Great appI downloaded this app to help me learn my muscles for my level 3 beauty therapy course. I use it to study on the go e.g in the car, on the bus etc. I think it's great!.Version: 4.3

Easy to use!Great app, easy to use. Just needs a variety of quizzes..Version: 4.3

Amazing appGreat app really helps me for school!!.Version: 4.3

Pretty goodThe pins really made it feel like my anatomy prac exam so it was good prep. Some of the visuals could be improved a bit but nevertheless, still as effective :) :) good app.Version: 4.3

Really good app but..This is an amazing free app, has a lot of interesting thing thing that you want to learn about the human body. Not all the body parts are labeled so you have to go to the opposite side of the muscle or bone to see what's the name, but it's just the little thing that catch my eye I don't really know how you may see it but I think they should just fix that little small problem.Version: 4.3

Fantastic AppThis is the best app and very easy to use. My Kids always on it as it very easy to use and make learning interesting..Version: 5.1

Great appGreat app.Version: 4.6

SuperbHas everything u need.Version: 4.3

Fantastic appThis is a great app. Highly recommended.Version: 4.0

Good for general anatomyI use this app mostly to help orient myself when memorizing landmarks of the bones. The 3D functionality is good when you really have no idea what angle you're looking at. I wish it had individual bones and I could rotate those. I also wish it would just include major landmarks (maybe a simple and complex option to correlate with what level anatomy you're in). Overall-pleased..Version: 4.3

Very goodJust what I needed for my school work! Which was learning about bones and muscles..Version: 4.3

Wonderful app - lots of contentA great start for anatomy and covers so much ground in the free version - download it - it is a no brainer!.Version: 4.3

Great appI like it very much. It helps me a lot in my job as a medical interpreter. I love it!.Version: 5.2

Great study tool!I am a human biology major and currently in A&P. This app is quick access to loads of information. It really helps with the constant studying required by anatomy courses. I gave it a 4 because there is room for improvement. They could give a description of the muscle, bone, etc... Such as its movement or something just an added study tip..Version: 4.3

Very helpfullIf you want to learn every part of the body That application is a good choice !.Version: 5.2

Great appGreat app...really helped crammin for exams!.Version: 4.6

Helpful!Very helpful and easy to use, but the ads on top are a little distracting!.Version: 4.6

Good app!Clean and easy to use! Need to be able to test on one subject/section - that'd be super helpful!.Version: 4.3

By Paolo AmatThis app is fantastic, simple to use, easy to find information, whether your looking up muscle function or other areas of the human anatomy. I'm a remedial and sports massage therapist, the app has been so useful when explaining dysfunctional and functional movements to patients. This is just one of the many options available on the app, with a host of additional options like the respiratory tract and nervous system diagrams. I highly recommend the app to anyone looking to use it as reference point for further understanding of the human anatomy of the body..Version: 4.3

Amazing!!What a wonderful app so informative definitely recommended.Version: 4.3

Great appThis app is very helpful, especially if you are in a biology or anatomy and physiology class. Not only can you view the picture of the human body, you can also rotate them to view them from every angle and touch the "I" icon for a quick or thorough explanation of that specific part of the body. It goes into detail very well and makes studying for biology tests a lot easier..Version: 4.3

He is a great app!I’ve used it for more then 7 years now and I can’t say enough about hows it’s help me with classwork from time to time. I will say I’ve used it to not only learn for school but for self knowledge as well. Highly recommend.Version: 5.1

Fast and accurate infoAs a massage therapist I find this app very useful, when I need to visualise which muscles may be related to a particular muscular issue. Great app. Keep up the great work!.Version: 5.2

Love this app10/10.Version: 5.5

Great app!I'm going to be taking anatomy next year, so I figured it would be a good idea to get a head start. This app has been great at helping me learn names of a ton of bones, organs, and muscles. It only missed the 5 star mark because it lacks some interactivity. If they added an interactive quiz mode for the ID sets, where it could focus in on the incorrect, and a few other things like that, then the app would be perfect. Nevertheless, I would recommend this app to anyone interested in anatomy, particularly since it is free..Version: 4.3

Helpful to learn basic anatomyEnjoy this apps quiz and visuals. Easy and fun to use. 😀 Now has audio!.Version: 4.6

Great app!So convenient to use. If the pronunciation works would be better..Version: 4.6

Great for a noviceI wanted this to understand my muscles & it does that plus more.Version: 4.3

Good appSeems pretty good. Not immediately intuitive, but the amount of information and lack of ads make it well worth the effort..Version: 4.3

Needs Proofread!I have found this a useful app for looking up names of bones, muscles et cetera. It’s a great shame it is marred by a needless typo in the name of the app as it appears beneath its icon: ‘VisAnaNtomyLite’. This does make you worry about the accuracy of the information in the app, as it betrays a slapdash attitude towards detail..Version: 5.1

Artists Anatomy ToolAs a digital artist, I use this not only name the muscles and skeletal structures, but to fully understand what parts do what. I’m sure you can get the same level of education and usefulness from this app if you’re in the medical field or just curious about the body you possess..Version: 4.6

The Human BodyFantastic and educational. I would well recommend it..Version: 4.3

Great supportI have had a couple of tough years, knee replacement, major shoulder surgery after a fall, pancreatitis, and h.pyolri infection. Through all of this the visual anatomy app has helped me to understand what is going on with my body and my family doctor and the surgeons to explain things to me. What a wonderful resource..Version: 5.5

Best free anatomy appAll the content was relevant and easily accessible. Simple design thanks.Version: 4.3

GreatA great app to learn about the body.Version: 4.3

Very InformativeI got this app so I could pinpoint certain muscles that I didn’t know the names of in my workout routines. My days of not knowing the anatomical terms are over.Version: 4.6

Fantastic!I am using this for my A&P study, images are great. I can study without the text books anywhere anytime!.Version: 4.0

Super impressed!!This app is very comprehensive! It not only shows the pictures and you can rotate them, but you can touch the "i" for a short or long version description of that part. It includes Grey's Anatomy and all systems. For the common person it may go into too much detail, but for curiosity, or someone interested in anatomy to quiz yourself, or teach yourself- Exceptional! Thank you for creating this!!!! I'm learning and hopefully get my kids to learn this early!.Version: 4.3

Great app but a few thingsGreat app but could use a few improvements. The 3D function is awesome but when trying to isolate a particular bone or muscle group, there is no option to do so. Graphics are also great but having a description of the bone or muscle and giving its function within the body would be even better..Version: 4.6

In depth appI think the muscle anatomy and skeletal system is relatively well made with on point structural categories. Okay some specific locations may be missing but not every fissure and crease needs to be named in a practical setting unless it is being used in a scientific paper, then this app would then be a poor reference material..Version: 5.2

Great appFor learning the muscles and bones I needed to learn, this app is free, has no annoying ads like some apps and is really good. I would recommend it..Version: 4.3

Pretty good.Great app for being free. Arrows point to a specific muscle and you can choose the "info" button that gives you OIA and nerve innervation. Only annoying part in my opinion is if you close the app out, even to reply to a text, when reopening it automatically brings you back to the home screen. Otherwise good..Version: 4.3

Absolutely amazingThis app has been a life saver through A&P courses. I love the 3D features. It’s helped in so many ways that pictures in PowerPoints simply cannot. I can’t believe it’s free, perfect for the average college student budget! I’d give it a 10/5 if I could..Version: 4.6

AwesomeNot only is it free but it’s awesome and free and that doesn’t happen too often. Perfect level of detail. I am studying anatomy for a physiotherapy degree and this is awesome for superficial anatomy..Version: 5.0

Uni studentPerfect app that gives you just the right amount of relevant and appropriate info for learning anatomy & physiology..Version: 4.3

Great and useful appHighly recommended.Version: 4.3

Dr. DonnaI like this app.Version: 4.7

OMG!This app is amazing, it's so good. I can learn anatomy really well with this app. The only thing I will say is that it snaggs when I try zoom in and move the body in 3D move..Version: 5.2

Great tool for anatomy studentsUse this for studying my anatomy courses, and it’s worked well when the teachers ask you to learn the anatomical parts, but do not give many resources for you to do so!.Version: 4.6

Detail anatomical structureGood for study of anatomy.Version: 4.3

GoodJust what I want.Version: 5.1

Clear, free and usefulGreat app for use on road if u need to show someone a part, or remind yourself of a spelling.Version: 4.6

Perfection! Simply.Enfin une application bien pensée. Que dire de plus..Version: 4.6

Great appIt helps me to answer a lot of my kids question. Sometimes, a very simple question had to be on answered, because I could not explain how body parts work. By using this app, I can answer almost all of their question regarding our body functionality..Version: 4.3

Great appI really enjoy it and the overview it gives on the organs and such. I love the quiz feature but I wish it would ask different questions instead of the same ones because once you go through the 22 questions that's all she wrote..Version: 4.3

Easy to use, informativeThis app has easy navigation, lots of information, quizzes and interactive diagrams. It takes things system by system. It even shows you what each muscle in your body moves!.Version: 5.2

Absolutely amazing!Love it so much, use it for my course and it's a great app that I use when I'm bored instead of spending time on other pointless apps and actually learn stuff..Version: 4.3

SayedExcellent help for my Nursing study..Version: 4.3

ImpressiveThe app is complete and accurate. Was expecting lots of ads and that was not the case. At the same time you have a lot of information available in magnificently illustrated ways without having to pay for the full version. This is very rare and very much appreciated!.Version: 4.6

WillGreat resource in learning for massage therapy.Version: 5.2

Great app for quick reference!I used this while studying for my Massage Therapy Boards and it was a good quick reference. I just wish they included more information for the free version but you can buy more access so I guess that option is by preference, I liked it over all other than that..Version: 4.7

Pretty coolI've been playing for like 10min, as I need that kind of information it's really useful. Especially if you've got spare 5min to have a quick look at it , instead off going for cigarette break at work. That's for sure will help you memorise all those info..Version: 4.3

Very usefulIt helped me a lot with my anatomy and physiology exam, I would recommend it..Version: 5.2

Great app!!It really helps me with my anatomy studies and is well organized. The only thing I would like is there to be multiple kinds of tests for each category, instead of just a singular test over the gist of everything..Version: 4.3

Always usefulI use it as a reference when I have pain and it helps me find out if it is my bones or any of the muscles. I also enjoy learning about how our bodies work.Version: 4.3

StudentVery helpful, but doesn't have all the muscles I'm looking for.Version: 4.3

Great AppVery easy to use, does not crash, every human being needs to know a little about human body this is where to start..Version: 5.1

Great App! Worth keepingI enjoyed this app it kept me motivated and interested to know more about the anatomy of the human body. It would be so cool if they had a puzzle feature to put the parts of the body system together for more fun and easy learning. The app is still worth keeping!.Version: 4.3
