Works fineThis seems to work no problem for me. I'm on OwnCloud 7 and have a self signed certificate. Camera Upload would be a nice feature, but I currently use Plex for that. I use OwnCloud to manually upload my videos since Plex won't sync those. The other missing feature is the ability to send to OwnCloud from another app using the built in sharing. Instead, you have to open OwnCloud first and then click upload from in there..Version: 3.3.2

Encouraging AppSet up OwnCloud locally for my family and am liking it so far. The feature set is pretty basic and documentation is quite basic but once things are up and running everything works smoothly. If they continue to refine the app and server end it will continue to move into my family iCloud replacement territory. I would ask for improvement consideration around the family sharing experience and photo library management..Version: 3.4.9

Works fineIt works reliably, but it would be nice for it to have the capability to upload your camera roll..Version: 3.4.8

Great App.The apps does what it says and works perfect I just wish that the music streaming option was also available just like the Webb interface. This is a feature enhancement request :-) Thanks guys..Version: 2.12

Wau! Super fast compared to NextcloudSyncing via NextCloud app is very glitchy and slow. I installed OwnCloud and it is way more fast. I wished OwnCloud server was a bit better supported, I would switch from NextCloud. As NextCloud server is kind of slow too. But it has all I need now with all its plugins and community support..Version: 3.7.5

Basic app but works well! This implements basic file upload, file viewing, and mgmt capabilities. The app has never crashed, responsive, and uses gestures to manage files. No complaints from me. I would like to see offline sync capability rolled out for iOS someday. And for ease of use, would be cool to have it automatically setup cal and contact sync. It was easy enough to google how to do it manually. Great app, keep up the amazing work!.Version: 3.1.2

Great first releaseHooked up to my ownCloud server with no issues. Basic functionality is good (no bugs yet). A few more features and I'll drop Dropbox!.Version: 1.0.15

BrilliantThanks for this update, much appreciated..Version: 3.0.0

Uploads and caches files well.As a way to upload files from other applications it works okay. It would be great to be able to share files from the app. The app also crashes occasionally if you transfer a file to it from another app. To work around this open the owncloud app and use the open with owncloud app again..Version: 2.09

ExcellentOwnCloud for iOS is a very polished app. I love being able to host my own cloud data but still have the convenience of apps like this. Thank you!.Version: 3.2.0

OwnCloud solves the ongoing problem..Lots of data, lots of devices and lots of file sharing options - Dropbox, OneDrive (SkyDrive), iCloud etc... ownCloud is the answer. Simple (really simple), obvious (how you'd expect it to work) and available as open source (no charge). Desktop Clients, phone apps, web access all syncing and accessing your files. Share files and folders with friends, family and even work colleagues... If you're fed up with trying the usual suspects, try ownCloud - you'll not be disappointed. 😄 big fan....Version: 3.1.1

Great appYou need to have your ownCloud server setup before using this app, which is requires some sysadmin knowledge. I've had no issues using this app and love that I can control my own data. It could use a bit of polish, but it works really well as is. I really like that I can save files for offline use..Version: 3.1.3

Excellent app, works with no problems.OwnCloud is great and it works very well. It works as you would expect it to and I haven't run into a hitch yet. It even has the added benefit of being an active photo cloud storage. If you enable InstantPhotos in the app, whenever you take a photo on your device it will automatically upload it to your ownCloud server! That was an unexpected and very much appreciated feature..Version: 3.5.1

Getting there...Firstly, well done for creating this app! 5 Stars if:- I could more easily save all file types to my server - not just images and videos. The passcode didn't behave so oddly on iPad mini - in Landscape cannot type a zero, then when rotating to portrait the key pad stretches off screen. So please keep up the good work and with a bit of polish this gets 5..Version: 3.4.1

Correcting my previous review..I am giving this app 5 stars as it works perfectly. The issues I had connecting were due to an improperly configured install. I correct the config issues and all is working properly now. 👍..Version: 3.5.0

Good but a few nigglesOwnCloud, as a service, is brilliant. I host it on an old computer with my Dropbox mounted in OwnCloud meaning that even if that computer has an issue or the domestic internet goes down then I still have access to my most important files. The app is generally very good and user friendly. I especially like the ability to share and unshare links on the go. My niggles are that it keeps forgetting my servers address and my credentials, this isn't the end of the world but is mildly irritating. I would also like to see the ability to stream video from my OwnCloud rather then just download it. It would make the service even more powerful if I could plonk my films on there and stream them to my iPad whenever I want rather then have to download the whole thing before I can start to watch..Version: 3.4.1

Excellent system!Easy to deploy on the server end and the app integrates nicely. Well done. I will cancel my Dropbox account now..Version: 3.1.2

Nice StartThis app is a good proof of concept that seems to lay a solid groundwork for future enhancements and features. Hope those features come soon! I would be happy to pay more for an app that would download whole folders and keep then in sync with the server, and like the andriod version an automatic photo upload. Will continue to support ownCloud!.Version: 2.11.2

Works fineThey must have fixed the issues because this app is working great. A little slow sometimes when loading files but overall great app..Version: 2.12

Yessssssssssss⭐️Great for my class.Version: 3.3.0

Bye DropboxI finally set up my owncloud server last night. Honestly there is no need for any other 3rd party Dropbox-like service. I have much more security over MY files with no space limitations. The only issue I have at this moment is the ios app doesn't even see my mkv's. The folders show they are empty..Version: 3.1.3

Works great!I'm very surprised to see such negative reviews. I've really enjoyed using this app and I haven't had a single problem. There are some more features and improvements I'd like to see, but this app has been totally stable and integrates with my ownCloud server without issue. I hope that the developers aren't put off by the negative reviews and can see that there are some very happy users out there. This has been a perfectly fine app, and it can still be improved, but it's working great for me.Version: 3.4.1

Exactly what I needed. The entire ownCloud solution has blown me away. I had spent some time working on my own solution for keeping my *nix environments in sync when I stumbled upon ownCloud by proxy of csync2. The full ownCloud solution couldn't have been packaged any better. I play around with a lot of open source solutions and yours is the first I have come across that offers the installation from a yum repository(or at least informs you.) Very slick and convenient. Great job!.Version: 2.08.1

OwnCloud is incredible. The app is great, particularly not being too fussy about self-signed SSL certificates. The only major issue is the compressed images in the app, I primarily use this service for photo sharing and not being able to view in full resolution is a shame..Version: 3.1.3

Obviously you need a cloud to sync to... But if you are running an instance of owncloud, it does exactly what you would expect. Upload/download, play media, view images, etc. seems pretty slick so far. Update: crashing on iOS 9.2.1 when I try to enter settings within the app....Version: 3.4.6

Works greatThis app works great for me but I would like to see more features and work done on it..Version: 3.6.2

Does the jobEasy connection to the server. Nice idea to add the pin do access..Version: 2.21

Not possible to connect to serverHi guys, This is usually great app but at current I'm getting 'not possible to connect to server'. It's not an Internet connection at my end as I've tried it on my 4g data, work wifi and home fibre! I use this app for work purposes and need to share the files immediately. Please rectify asap! 5 🌠 when working, currently 1 🌠 currently! Thanks.Version: 3.4.9

Great!Great app, does what Dropbox does but without exposing all your data to the U.S. Government 😀.Version: 3.3.1

Works great thank youWhile I'd like access to other items such as contacts and calendar within this app, as others have mentioned, it's not a bother. I have setup carddav and caldav on my phone. Works like a charm. The app works as advertised and am really happy with this app and the ownCloud platform. Great work guys. -- Gabe.Version: 3.0.1

AwesomePerfect for on the go. You have everythign you need. Would like to see the Mac version of it.Version: 3.6.0

IOS 8Some of my class mates and I have recently installed the update iOS 8. When trying to send a pdf file into Owncloud, it will send but it will say 0bytes and you then I opened it and was a grey screen. When my teacher tries to open it, it said file cannot open, has been damaged or removed..Version: 3.2.0

App is PerfectOnce you download something from the app. It stays on your phone memory and then you have the option to delete it from the phone or from both the phone and server. The app is fast and very responsive when navigating..Version: 3.4.8

Great app - still an annoying bug.Great for private cloud sharing where you can control where your content is stored. Annoying that bug is still there that if you try and upload a photo from iPhone photo app (or other apps) to owncloud and you select a folder to upload to this is not stored it defaults back to owncloud. So when you open app to upload you get an error that you have no permissions (set on our config) and have to re-select folder for each upload. Very frustrating as ruins the smooth function we are looking for and means cannot propose solution to our business..Version: 3.7.5

Work wellDoes what it says on the tin.Version: 3.5.2

No problems, good to haveI could just use transmit or another WebDAV client, but this is way more convenient. Worth it! Works great for me and all of my Owncloud users. I suppose most people haven't setup their server correctly or updated it in ages? Perhaps they could help out by submitting a bug report on the GitHub issue queue?.Version: 3.4.4

Feature RequestI love owncloud, and thank the developers for providing an open source product such as this. The app works as it should, but We would love to see an option to "stream content" live from the server rather then always having to download it into cache..Version: 3.4.8

Great ProductLove your product and have enjoyed sharing files. Are you able to add a search feature when you create a public link or have an entire ownCloud as public?.Version: 3.8.1

Great for private cloudWorks great with a standard ubuntu system running apache2 and ssl and owncloud server version 5.0. I use it for accessing our archive of scanned documents, and the built in PDF viewer is very handy for that. Own star deducted because the button to remove a document from just the device is the same as for permanently removing it, which is usually not what I want. I'd give it five stars if removing the locally cached version was trivially simple but removing from the cloud a little harder..Version: 2.11

Great and simple to useI use this for my own service and just works well. I can share and forward any file, upload too. Easy to use..Version: 3.1.2

🌟Awesome Cloud☁ Solution 🌟This app works exactly as intended! I have no problem whatsoever syncing with my on cloud server! Files sync seamlessly. I have a iPhone 5 on OS 6.0.2 and iPad running on OS 6.0.1 Great job OwnCloud! ⚡Suggestion⚡ This app needs the ability to stream music. I recommend you update app with a media player..Version: 2.08

More than happyAble to access my ownCloud from anywhere..Version: 3.3.2

Nice app but some issuesHaving used this to connect to owncloud on our server I have found it very good. The only issue that I have is that I can't open PDF files from the app but can online. Videos are also hit and miss. Other than that it's great..Version: 3.1.2

Gets the job doneI was cautious about buying this app before I noticed that all the very negative reviews are many years old. Decided to go for it and found that the app seems to be well polished and very functional. Haven’t used it extensively yet but if I run into any major problems I’ll update this review..Version: 3.8.0

Good but could be improved.........with some indication that the app was syncing, such as a status bar..Version: 3.1.1

Same problem sync photos and 2 factor problemsPurchased this app to sync photos from my iPhone to my ownCloud but they just don't sync. Also enabled the Duo two-factor application and now the app can't even log in to the server. Edit: Added a 4th star, the developer cleared up that it would require using an application password with two-factor and it worked perfect. I'll continue to mess with the photo sync, but nothing so far. I'd dev is interested in any testing, let me know. -Jeff.Version: 3.6.2

Pretty goodDecent for a first version, works well although would be nice to stream photos direct from server rather than having to download on to device..Version: 1.0.15

Working fineUploading sometimes stuck at 0%. Not many features..Version: 3.0.1

RubbishUpdate on 3rd January causes app to crash on opening. Previous version was good Update - 3.7.1 release now opens the file listing on and iPhone 6 Plus but not its necessary to log in again; which would be fine if the user and password fields were available to type into! But you can’t enter your data into them. Please try again, developers, because owncloud was excellent until 2018 updates! Thank you! Update - removing the app and all the data resolved the issues I have and all is working again. Thanks for the very responsive support. Owncloud has become an essential part of my home infrastructure, I am very happy to have it working again! Thank you!.Version: 3.7.1

Works ok but lacks featuresMainly lacks a gallery functionality..Version: 3.4.5

Excellent, but missing a key featureI’ve been using the app for a few days now. The service and the app work really well, and I can see this being an excellent substitute for dropbox. My only request is to allow automatic uploads of photos/videos. My reason for setting up my own cloud-sync storage solution was to have more storage at a much cheaper price than Dropbox. It seems like a natural fit to add the automatic upload feature to OwnCloud..Version: 3.3.3

Works WellUsed in test environment and works well, haven't tried it with a massive amount of files, but its all joy with my iPhone 4S (IOS7) and with the owncloud running over https and authenticating against Active Directory.Version: 2.21

Have to address another reviewerFirst I will agree, when compared to Google Drive it does lack features. I would also love native support for notes. Another reviewer had a list of issues and most of them can be addressed. -there is an open in feature so you can indeed upload anything you want. -you can move, delete, and rename files. Simply do a long press on the file and the options show up. -the upload failing issue is because they use a different method to upload from the app as compared to uploading via the web. Do a web search for ownCloud ios upload fail and you will see what you need to do to fix it on your ownCloud server. Just wanted to chime in with some corrections. I like ownCloud and hope they develop this app further..Version: 3.1.1
