✓ Great app, but where's update?Device info: iPhone 4S, 64GB, iOS 7.0.3, latest app version, August 2013, to date November 6, 2013: What bothers me about this app, although I will say it is AMAZING (as well as the rest of this dev's apps!!! They're ALL worth paying for!), it hasn't been updated since its inception, which was August 2012. There don't seem to be any issues with the app working as described, but it leaves me to wonder if that may be coming up in the very near future?.Version: 1.2

✓ Wonderful, intuitive app from great, responsive developersAs a glitch artist, I use a lot of apps, and Layover is part of my main 4-5 apps. I use it every day. It it has a simple-to-use and intuitive interface and allows you to blend up to 4 images in a variety of ways, in several orientations/sizes. One can easily rearrange and resize the blended components and see immediate, high-quality results. To me, it's a must have app. The developer team is also quick with support and wonderfully responsive. That's not true of every developer, by any means, as those of us who rely on good apps for our art and frequently contact developers with questions or comments know. These folks, by contrast, respond quickly, when there is any glitch, fixing it swiftly and cheerfully. I highly recommend them and congratulate them on a great update. If you enjoy blending images, you won't be disappointed by what these good folks have made--and continue to remake with helpful updates..Version: 1.4.2

✓ This App is AMAZING!I've spent over a year finding an app that can do what Layover does. It's perfect for visual artists to figure out possible compositions using multiple images. I love the simplicity of this app. It's a tad bit confusing at first and I'm still some of the functions as I go. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I wish it had a feature to undo one thing at a time, rather than reverting back to the starting image. This would allow for greater nuance and control. I've already recommended this app to a few friends who love it. I'm sure this app will spread like wildfire when word gets out!.Version: 1.3

✓ Get LayedI think this app is great. Bought this on the fact that it's from the same developers as Diptic. The U.I is a little ugly but intuitive. Took me about 3 minutes to get to know how the app worked. Everything works smoothly. You just need to know a little bit about these kind of blending techniques to get the most out of it (all of which can be learned from a little experimentation with this app) 👍.Version: 1
✓ Functional, works well, but could use a few improvementsThe app works well, and althought there is helpful guidance at start-up and any time via the "i" button, the workflow is intuitive if you have experience with layer and blend modes, ala Photoshop. If not, some of the modes can be a bit overwhelming. I really like the layer approach, and each layer can be selected and the image independently scaled, moved/repositioned,freely rotated, etc. Layers can be moved up or down in the stack (this is important and can be daunting when using blend modes), deleted, or replaced by a new image. That being said, a few improvements would be welcomed additions... 1. A "clear all", "new" or "start over" button, to, well, start a new project. 2. Ability to unlock the aspect ratio of a layer so it can be resized without maintaining the original aspect ratio. 3. An expand or fit to frame/opening button would be helpful. 4. Improve the resolution a bit. The maximum size of a saved project seems to be 2048x2048. If you change to 4:3 the resolution changes to 2048x1536. Since the app has a fixed base layer (default black or other color), it would be helpful if the resolution could be set higher via that layer, then all image layers would be scaled up/down accordingly..Version: 1
✓ MagicThis app is far too much fun for the price. My little cat has gone to outer space, been stranded at sea and flown over New York (we live in Suffolk) all thanks to Layover. It really is only limited by your imagination. I have a very shaky hands and use a stylus, it amazes me what great results I get and it's all down to the simplicity and great design of this app. Love it..Version: 1.2
✓ Another excellent app!I love the app Diptic, so when this came out I bought it right away! So far, I love it! It makes working with layers and blending modes fun and easy! Everything is more complicated in Photoshop, so it is hard to learn about the different blending modes when you can't even figure out the program. Not so with this app, which is as simple as can be, but also incredibly powerful. Do yourself a favor and download this app now!.Version: 1

✓ Great App!This is a great app for overlaying images! I create graphics on the go and needed app to overlay my logo in the corner and this by FAR is the best app I've found. Controls were a bit difficult to figure and and there are a few bugs like freezing and slow to drag but I'm sure the developers will smooth them out. Not a bad app for $0.99!.Version: 1.3
