Prime: PubMed Journals & Tools for Positive User Reviews

GreatThis is a very helpful app, it’s extremely accurate and it keeps me updated on the most recent papers. It’s fantastic for academic medicine!.Version: 2.3

Decent free appCould be better if there was a function to save the articles (as PDF) for easy access..Version: 1.3

Solid pubmed appExcellent application for staying updated with literature on-the-go. The only issue I've had is the occasional duplicate paper that pops up in my reading list, or journal-specific list..Version: 2.1

Good!Interesting 👌🏼.Version: 2.4

Great functionalityEasy to search and access articles..Version: 2.4

Quick way to access journalsGreat tool for this DPT student when i am away from my computer and need to research best evidence-based practice guidelines..Version: 1.5

Good app. Wish you could get more complete articles but that is journals problem in the web ageGood resource.Version: 1.3

So convenience!Directly and easy to use. Very useful. Best medline tool I have ever used..Version: 1.3

Greatest everCan’t stop using app.Version: 2.8

ExcellentLove the way I can save searches. Perhaps improve the search function where I can do an AND function on 2 searches, similar to pubmed's advanced search? Great app..Version: 1.10

Nice appThis works very nicely to search and display full text. Price is right, too!.Version: 2.5

Useful for Tracking specific health concernThis app provides access to journals from around the world. Prime helps me understand more about choices that need to be made. Be kind to yourself. Nobody can do it all. Caregivers must take care of themselves first..Version: 2.7

Brilliant!Best ever mobile database!.Version: 1.3

ResearcherThank you for this app! It is very helpful, it’s an Awesome Thank you.Version: 2.4

Fabulous app.Everything you need tailored to your areas of specialization!.Version: 2.12

Excellent AppNow I can access the references from my iPhone. When I was young, I had to go library and look to the big books to get references..Version: 1.3

Very goodVery user friendly and highly recommended..Version: 1.10

EasyQuick and simple way to get desired information from the PubMed database..Version: 2.12

An excellent resource to carry along.Prime unbound provides easy access to all the data updates you need for your practice and research..Version: 2.4

No RegretsI am content with every aspect and detail incorporated within this app. It has proven useful and utilitarian beyond my expectations for a free app. I am an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and this app comes in quite handy, nearly every day. Simply put, if you don't have this app in your arsenal, put it there now. You won't regret it either..Version: 1.2

Great source of informationI’m not a doctor, I just enjoy reading the research on topics that affect my health. This app is an amazing source of information. Thank you!.Version: 2.4

A fabulous advance in rapid focus of any medical research questionI have used med line for literally 30+ years and have loved how in recent years the functionality of the 'Entrez' interface has allowed a rapid relational access to articles with similar key words and MESH terms. The interface for Unbound Medline's access to articles is smooth and elegant, allowing rapid scanning and review of abstracts. But what gives this a '5' stars in my estimation is the incredibly useful 'grapherence' feature - this takes scanning for relevant articles to a whole new level of rapid and focused capability to hone in on key articles. It is a citation index and 'permutaterm' (for those chronologically gifted folks like me who remember this) function all rolled into an easily understood and easily learned visual interface. Only drawback: not all articles have the grapherence feature. Truly a great product..Version: 1.6

Intuitive!Very powerful way to explore and find journal articles! Highly recommended!.Version: 1.7

The Best!Found every article possible!.Version: 1.5

Great appIt is a good app and easy to use. Saving articles and searches can be a little frustrating if you haven't used the app before. It is simplistic and covers a lot of journals, some free and some you have to pay for, just like any other sources..Version: 2.2

Easy PubMed AccessClean, easy-to-use access to PubMed abstracts, with a nice interface to email the references to yourself. Thanks!.Version: 1.2

Excellent Way to do Literature ResearchVery helpful in research of topics, even without the ability to read all the articles (you can still see the abstract).Version: 2.1

Must have app for each researcher! In a current world of literature overload, this app is blessing. This app keeps me updated on recent articles in the field of my interests. The note taking app helps me recors my ideas for future brainstorming. One change which I would like is a go to favorite option in the app so I can glance through those articles as needed..Version: 2.4

I love it!!Answers on the fly, save favorites, plentiful full text available. Plus, easy to email to self or colleague, or librarian, who can find the missing full text. I find the iPad version EASIER than Pub Med on the desktop! My go-to method of literature review.Version: 1.7

Brings medical research homeI have found this app incredibly useful in researching therapies and treatment for Down Syndrome which is my area of interest. The interface is simple and easy to use which may sacrifice more complex academic searches but that is not what I use it for. This brings medical research into the non-geek arena. I like the feature to save favorites and the links between different articles. It also takes you directly to full text when it is available. I have been looking for an app that does what unbound does for the longest time and am relieved to have found it. A plus in my book . If they add too many features it would make it unwieldy. I like it just the way it is!.Version: 1.10

A must for all researcherLook up for articles on the go! Amazing app..Version: 2.4

AmazingIt's probably the best database!!! I am very pleased from this app! Thank you!...Version: 1.3

Great research tool!I have enjoyed using Prime for at least seven years now. One of its most useful options is its grapherence program. It allows me to look at the abstracts of articles upon which the title I am reading are based AND any articles that have subsequently referred referred to that same title. I can also get some idea as to the influence of a given reference by the number of articles that refer back to it..Version: 2.12

Great tool! This is very easy to use, a great tool to keep you up to date with all the latest research!.Version: 2.2

Excellent access & informationI have been using this going on 2 years, and it has helped me immensely. My Shih Tzu is 13 & has Cushing’s Disease, with a tumor on his left adrenal gland. The articles that I can access on here have shown me ways to blend traditional medicine with Chinese medicines, homeopathic, and other alternative medicine. I don’t know how I could have done this research without this site!!.Version: 2.5

Very easily to find infoThe search makes it easy to find the info I am looking for!.Version: 1.10

Great app!Easy to use, complete and rich in comprehensive search options. I'm glad I found it..Version: 1.5

Impressive tool for both researchers and studentsA very impressive version of Medline. This should be part of the medical-based researchers' toolbox. Great for students with the high level IFAD functionality..Version: 1.5

Essential appI cannot praise this app enough. Instead of emails, Twitter or active searching, I come here to know what has been published in the journals I regularly keep an eye on. This is my “Neurology Daily Newspaper”. The only thing that it needs to be perfect is to be able to open the references in a web browser like Safari. This would allow going to the source and downloading or reading the article. Although you can read the articles that are free text within the app, the display is small. Despite this room for improvement, I am grateful to the designers. It’s one of my favourite apps and certainly the best to keep me updated on what is being published. As I said, I can’t praise it enough..Version: 2.7

So easy!So much easier to use than PubMed, complete searches.Version: 2.7

Very good but could use some tweaksGreat user interface and workflow. Excellent look and feel. It would be helpful to number references and to note those you've already saved. For someone who doesn't have access to journals through an academic affiliation it's a great alternative..Version: 1.10

One of the best apps for researchesThe app is easy to follow and keeps me up to date with all the gazillion journals I’m following on a daily basis. The app would have been perfect if: 1. It was faster to navigate. It takes some time to load articles from a journal. I wish it would load much faster. 2. To include a PubMed link to the article and not just the PubMed article’s ID number. This way it’s much easier to share articles with colleagues. Thanks 🙏.Version: 2.7

Excellent literature.Excellent resources not available to the public. I used the resources to research the positives and negatives of birth control pills for my college age daughters. Excellent references helped them decide what was best for them..Version: 1.6

Scroll issue with some abstractsAlso chronological order by submission/publication/online presence would be swell..Version: 1.3

Great information on the goI've enjoyed the quick reference aspects of Unbound Medicine as well as its dependably accurate data updates. I recommend the application to both novice and seasoned practitioners seeking handy, ready reference material..Version: 1.6

GreatGreat.Version: 2.12

Great app!Fantastic app. I use it at work (I'm a surgical resident), and I love that I can easily pull up articles straight from the link. If you want to save the articles, use drop box. It works wonderfully..Version: 1.3

Excellent toolEasy to use and useful..Version: 2.9

NaturopathmaxWhen sharing an article via twitter, the link to the journal is missing. The older versions included the article link within the tweet. Please include the journal link in the tweet, without it the whole process is somewhat pointless. Thanks.Version: 1.10

ConvenientBut the design may need some improvement..Version: 1.3

Best App On My PhoneKind of like having the Library of Alexandria (of health) available at the touch of a fingertip on your phone. I spent years searching pubmed… but this app has made my amateur health fact-finding adventures more enjoyable, productive, and fast. I can go and do things in four or five or six other apps, and then come back to this app, and it still is in the exact same place where I left it, whether a search, a paper pdf, or whatever. My Apple iPhone Podcast App doesn’t even do that! A+.Version: 2.12

Excellent!Great Medline access, easy full text too.Version: 1.2

So amazingly helpful with researchLove this app.Version: 2.9
