✓ Great for playing pc games on your phone.I originally bought this app for the blackberry playbook as I was interested in being able to play my pc games on a tablet. It worked ok but has very slight lag. Thought I would try the same on my 4s to see if there was any lag and I'm pleased to say there isn't. Don't get me wrong it struggles to play fast moving racing games but it plays FIFA 13 and pes 13 perfectly. It was absolutely amazing until recently i have had a constant satellite dish symbol - “use anywhere” feature, which I have not paid for / bought. I have troubleshooted a lot but nothing to seem to help. I even changed devices. Please can I have some help - I use a iPhone 6s IOS 11 and Ipad Mini 2 IOS 11. Possible problem - new bluetooth keyboard connected to the IOS device and wireless mouse connected to the computer via usb. It would help out a lot if you could address this problem. ✓ Great AppI have been using Splashtop for I think around 5 or 6 years to remote into my computers at home from my phone while I am out and about. I just use it to move files and do little things here and there these days but I used to do heavier computing with it. It has been a stable application and I have been very happy with it. Navigating the screen on an iPhone can be a little cumbersome at times, maybe because with the small screen and big fingers, its easy to close or move things you didn't intend to. But you can pinch the screen to resize what you are looking at. I recommend this app if you are looking for an easy and safe way to remotely connect to your computers..Version: 2.7.4.3

I originally started to use Splashtop because it was the only remote service I could find that was Mac to Win compatible with a high response rate AND high quality. (I just got done playing Doom 2016 off my iPhone 8 by streaming it from my PC! Relatively low frame rate, but looked good, and felt O so right.) I have yet to find a better service, free or not. I have this on desktop and mobile and have never had problems. It allows direct click and trackpad style input to suit your needs. The Wake on LAN feature was nice but started to fail (that was my computer's fault though I think) and Wake on LAN sadly did not support Wake on WAN which would have been really nice but I'm not sure if anything supports that. ✓ I love Splashtop, but I wish there were more featuresWhy change something that’s not broken? I have to agree with that statement as Splashtop has become my go-to for computer access anywhere. It works great, and has very little latency. It’s soo low I’ll sometimes use my phone as a screen to play PC games and comfortably play. I just wish they’d become more progressive with their features, for example -I mentioned gaming with splashtop. Imagine if you could use Splashtop to game with your phone using your PC to do all the work. Imagine having a controller button layout on your phone/splashtop that works with video games on your computer. A lot of games support controller layout, it wouldn’t be to hard of a task to do I imagine anyways.. I could be completely wrong. -Number pad. I wish splashtop had a number pad. That’s the only two things stopping me from giving splashtop a 5 star. It’s been in the same state for as long as I can remember with very little noticeable progression in updates. ✓ Great ideal for what I wanted it for!.I wanted this app so I could play my PC games on my iPhone much like PS4 users can use the PSVITA as a screen, The reason for this is I use the living room tv as my PC screen and can now play while the Mrs watches tv. It works very well for this and I've tried loads of other apps all of which are too slow on the refresh rate causing a huge amount of lag, I'm not saying there is no lag on this but it's so small I was able to play a very fast paced racing game (Trackmania 2) and still get gold however I wouldn't use it for online gaming as the little lag that is there would be enough to cause you to have a disadvantage which is why I've only gave 4 stars. ✓ Remarkable mobile app and software.I downloaded this app years ago. At the time I was trying out a TON of remote apps and software looking for something that worked for what I needed. (Multiple devices and users on a network). I came across Splashtop then, maybe 2012 or late 2011 and I have never, not once, had problems that related to this software. It is now 2017. Since then, Splashtop has expanded and grown into the monster it is now. In terms of products that have become better with time, Splashtop has gone from great to astonishing. I now use their desktop and access anywhere packages and they outshine the mobile construction programs we use in my industry (that cost hundreds or thousands more), and require an annual (expensive) renewing fee. If nothing else, this app is exactly what you need for remote access and compatibility across platforms. I know, I sound like some kind of glossy eyed rainbow painter here, but it really is not that often someone designs something like this, and definitely not at this price. Like there’s an invisible barrier that prevents me a couple inches before the right edge. So many times I’ll be fixing my computer and something will go wrong with the display or my mouse will stop working, and this app is a godsent as it can help me type and use my computer without a display, keyboard, and mouse. My only issue is that I would like to be able to exit back to the pc select menu, but I have no idea how. I have to close and restart the app in order to do it. Splashtop has finally made the one stop logon from my iPhone a reality. When I connect to my laptop to play play a game on steam, it will kick me form my game and say that the game crashed. I will try to play Portal again, but will have to be careful. Also, I would like controller support for my games. The games themself have controller support, but this app doesn’t.
