✓ Was much better prior to the update.I am about ready to delete the app. I liked it up to about a week ago. Now, however, my photos of my catches are not showing up. Also, the story is being deleted by the app. Sometimes the story is found in the ‘bait used’ section. I do not recommend this app. Wait till the bugs are worked out..Version: 6.0.1
✓ TrailsIt doesn’t do you much good if you can’t leave a trail to your way points and after shutting off the app , opening it up the next day you cannot follow your trails it just shows you away. Which doesn’t help much when ice fishing especially when you’re fishing the lakes where sturgeon holes are !!!.Version: 5.7.6
✓ Horrific updateUp until the latest update, this app was good enough and enjoyable to use. Now it’s almost useless and very difficult to navigate. I used to be able to get to a list of waterways I follow. Not anymore. I’m done using this even for free. I’d never pay a cent for whatever else is offered..Version: 6.0.4
✓ No guest sign inAs soon as I saw that there was no option to sign in as a guest I deleted it. I don’t want to sign up for yet another thing if I don’t even know if it’s something I’ll like. If I sign in and see that I like it I’ll gladly create and account. Furthermore I hate subscriptions. ✓ Do not buy premium!Purchased this thinking i would see more catches or new locations for new york as well as for a drive down the east coast. Barely anything is marked or useful at all. No insights for any fish in my area (long island) which makes no sense. Save your money and just ask local tackle shops where the bite is hot.Version: 6.0.5
✓ ProblemsI’ve paid for the premium for years however I may not do so for much longer. At times the app won’t work and when it does the contours and depths don’t show up. The app was better years ago..Version: 6.2.3
✓ Needs HelpThe idea of the app is great, but it needs a lot of help. -Set the depth of water your fish was caught in the app at 48 inches, and the web version will show 48 feet. -It took me logging in to the web version for me to be able to edit my catch location. I couldn’t do it from the app no matter how much I tried. -Under bait types, there aren’t any natural types such as wax worms or night crawlers. -There should be a way that users can add public boat landing locations with the purple icon. So many are missing or in that wrong spots in northern Wisconsin. -It’s a great idea, but like I said, needs a lot of work. Especially with differences between the app and web interfaces..Version: 6.0.2
✓ Just OkayThis is nothing to ride home on but it can be entertaining to see what’s going on where. Hot Spots are neat to review and again entertaining but the feature I enjoy most are depth contours and structure points. Doesn’t show them on all lakes but majority has them. ✓ Do not purchase premiumI purchased the premium access for the Saginaw bay. Nothing has been updated in there for months. So basically I paid $10 to find out that 4 people caught fish on the bay this year. Save your money and look for the free local reports which are way more informative and current than the guy that caught a fish last summer..Version: 5.6.4
✓ Can’t even log inI saw an add, downloaded the app and went to sign up for an account and it said my email was already in use. So I figured I might have signed up before and deleted the app and forgot all about it. I went to sign in and it wouldn’t let me and said my email wasn’t recognized. I couldn’t recover a password because there was no account with that email. Went back and tried to sign up for a new account and it said email was already being used. Tried several times with Facebook and that didn’t work either 🤷♀️.Version: 6.2.2
✓ Premium content not workingI have used this app previously and loved it, but when I went to purchase a year-long premium subscription last week, none of the premium content works—it simply advertises that premium layers are available and when I select it, it takes me to the purchase screen again and again and tells me I’m already subscribed—never allowing me to access the premium content like depth and contour lines. I’m running latest iOS on iPhone 11, restarted and redownloaded app many times, reached out to the app company and only received a stock response on how to navigate contour lines. ✓ Paying for premiumAm a premium member and am not receiving the benefits. Have emailed the service desk 2-3 times and have not gotten a reply. App use to work now it just gives me the basic stuff even tho I’m getting charged 9.99 a month. Also says I’m a basic member. ✓ Don’t waste your moneyI recently installed and purchased a premium plan of the Fishidy app for the sole feature of being able to sync my waypoints wirelessly to my Raymarine Axiom MFD, what a waste. The app requires you to manually move the arrow to the coordinate with no ability to just type in the long/lat!?!? What’s better is even after I go through this absurd process, the app usually gets stuck with a spinning wheel and won’t save the spot. In addition, I was excited to see the “insights” what a joke, it just gives me general information about most species. The weather and wind is not only inaccurate, but usually doesn’t load and just displays 0’s. Finally, the sea temperature does not display on the map even when the layer is toggled on. If I could give 0 stars I would, wish I could get my $9.98 back!!.Version: 6.2.4
✓ Waste of timeThis app is the biggest waste of time and money. It will make you think that there is a lot of info available for a water way and when you pay to see it there is not even close to what is expected. Not user friendly at all and does not help to locate fish.Version: 5.6.7

✓ I can’t unsubscribe!I won an annual membership to the premium version for submitting a photo, and one year later, my credit card gets hit for a $50 renewal fee that I did not sign up for! ✓ What happened?!This app was so much more average before the more recent update. Now it’s awful. It won’t show me any activity posted by people or waterways I follow, which is incredibly annoying to click on a picture and see a guy holding a fish is actually in Mississippi, not a Midwest waterway like was expected..Version: 6.0.2
✓ Make sure premium data available for your waters before subscribingAfter reading the list of premium features and checking out the prices, I opted for a 1-year subscription to save money. Big mistake! It turns out most lakes and some entire states have no premium data to speak of. Company very kindly helped me get a refund, because I live in Colorado, and the lakes I’m interested in have no premium content at all. It’s pretty hard to figure out how to request a refund for a subscription on the App store, unfortunately, but Fishidy app team went out of their way to guide me through the process. While attempting to download nonexistent premium data, I also encountered a really hard-to-use interface for outlining a region on a map to download the nonexistent data. Some ESRI feature or other. They really need to get rid of that—especially if there’s no data there to begin with. I hope they can improve these things, because I would love an app that does what this does in my area..Version: 6.0.5

✓ Maps Ok, cancelling was near impossibleOffline maps ok, the app makes sense for what it is but I only needed for 1 fishing trip so only option was to buy subscription. No problem until I try to cancel it. In app manage subscription button takes me to iTunes where there was no option to cancel. On website I logged in and spent 30min trying to find page to cancel and it took me to multiple pages with more subscription options but no cancel option. I finally found myself on a page where I had to confirm my subscription payment plan that I did. It want and this took me to a page where I was able to put my subscription “on hold” but not cancel. This is unacceptable. Cancelling a subscription should be a 1 button and done affair..Version: 5.7.6

✓ Can’t Cancel SubscriptionRidiculous that one can’t simply cancel a subscription, obvious the developer wants it that way. Click on cancel/manage subscription and it takes you to a link where you have to enter a different password. I did that and it states “unconfirmed subscription”, click to confirm but nothing about canceling subscription. Absolutely ridiculous and for this reason I’ll never use fishidy again..Version: 6.0.5

✓ Worst attempt ever!Absolutely terrible app. Save your money and don’t get hooked by their baiting you in. $10 for a months use was a joke.... unless you don’t mind waiting 1-3 minutes for “catch info” to pull up once you tap the icon to view what was noted at a certain spot. ✓ Free app not helpfulResults may be better for lakes near you, especially if you pay for the premium version. I can get maps and aerial views on many apps. What I wanted was contour maps for New Melones reservoir because the lake level varies by hundreds of feet. I want to evaluate the areas with bank access at different seasons. This app doesn’t have the contour as shown in the App Store pictures, or even overlay roads for easier navigation. There are some catches marked, but that doesn’t do me any good, since I don’t have a boat to get to the marked areas..Version: 6.2.3
