✓ Great, but with one flaw.Great editor and I love the features. This may not be a deal-breaker for other users, but iEditor seems to only operate in landscape/horizontal mode. Since I work in portrait/vertical mode, moving the ipad around when switching from browsing to writing and back is between perplexing and annoying depending on what I am trying to do and how tight my deadline is. This is the only reason I did not give it five stars: it's only one problem but a fairly significant one for this user and why I'm still not "home" with iEditor. Those who do everything in landscape mode will love it, though, since everything else about it is great..Version: 1.60
✓ Be carefulThis program works but is tricky to use on the iPad. It does not save changes automatically and worse, is programmed to discard all changes in the file you are editing, without warning, if you touch controls that are outside the editing pane. Touching the screen can easily happen by accident, so if you use this app, save frequently, at least once per minute. Oh . . . to save, look for the tiny save icon that is hidden behind the keyboard..Version: 1.2

✓ Ugly...nasty colors, confusing and limitedSorry, but the user is presented with a garish UI that takes one back to the first days of Apple apps. The developers may like this and feel they have accommodated the user by allowing them to change the background, but the UI is still awful and horribly dated. I tried to open an HTML file from my iCloud drive and found no easy way of doing so. Given both issues I deleted this app directly afterwards. Can't speak for it's supposed functionality as it was already an app I could not see myself using and have zero interest in the 'pro' version given my experiences with the free one..Version: 3.10

✓ Edit erased my workI just encountered 3 critical problems which are why I will be deleting this app. 1. While entering text into a text file I could not scroll the page so the key board was covering my data entry point. It is extremely hard to add or edit text when you can't see where it is going. The only work around is to put in enough carriage returns until the doc is long enough to cause scrolling to activate. 2. After entering a full page of data I was looking for the save and tapped the edit button in the top right corner (a square with a pen in it). This wiped all of my input data!!! 3. There is no undo function to fix what just happened!!.Version: 1.60

✓ Literally does nothingDownloaded this app on my iPad and it is in capable of opening a new file or creating a new file. I spent 10 minutes trying to find a way to do that. Using the enclosed example file I was able to paste or attempt to paste some text into that document. However, apparently they do not implement paste properly because while I had text copied in my buffer it refused to actually paste with no explanation given so this app will not open. A new file will not allow a paste into an existing file and will do nothing. What a total waste of time..Version: 5.30
